While the venue was beautiful and the…read morevendors were kind and engaging, I was deeply disappointed by the apparent lack of integrity in the way the main raffle--the event's primary draw--was conducted. At the start of the raffle, I observed a blonde staff member quietly place a ticket in front of a bride seated beside me, who showed no reaction. That bride later handed the ticket to her fiancé. At the end of the event, the same staff member returned to announce the honeymoon winner, reading a pre-drawn ticket number. The bride and her mother nudged the fiancé--who hadn't even looked at his ticket--before he finally claimed the prize, awkwardly feigning surprise. It was the same blue ticket placed in front of them at the start. This sequence of events strongly suggests that the outcome was predetermined. It is extremely disappointing to witness such a lack of fairness, integrity, and transparency, especially at an event meant to celebrate such meaningful moments. I am happy for anyone winning an amazing honeymoon - but the fact that it was rigged to gift to someone predetermined soured my experience and trust in attending any future events. Beyond the disappointment in the moment, the implications of this are significant. Many brides came with genuine excitement and invested their time, under the impression that they had a fair chance at the prize. The rigged grand prize not only undermines that trust but also damages the credibility of the organizers and participating vendors. I was not the only witness. For upcoming bridal shows, I will not be attending any run by this company - and I highly advise any brides attending or thinking of it to come in with the expectation that the main prize is likely someone the staff knows or has prearranged with to win.

She was such an amazing advocate with vendors and especially with our venue, which had terrible communication and practices. Briana was always available to text or call or email, had recommendations for vendors, and spent a great 90 minutes planning with us in person, which she then spent who knows how many hours developing a timeline and contact info docs etc. included in our package technically, was : in person Introduction, unlimited communications online or via phone, walk through of the venue, in person consultation closer to the date, final walk through, rehearsal and full day of coordination with an associate. OUTSTANDING especially given the veryyyyy reasonable pricing, especially for the city. Briana made me feel so valued as a bride, and so comfortable. Going so far as to make sure we had alone time post-ceremony (with cold beverages in hand!), connecting with all family members involved in the ceremony and reception, giving cues, fixing my broken jumpsuit late-night, and cleaning up like a champ. Even if the celebration is small and intimate, we still try our best to make it as perfect as it can be and, in my opinion, the person you choose to officiate that marriage is, by far, one of the most essential details. I got married to my best friend just a few days ago, and I am leaving this review because I am beyond grateful to have had the chance to meet Michael and have him officiate our ceremony. My husband and I aren't the most typical; we are both nerds, both introverts, and both neurodivergent. We aimed for our wedding to represent us in every possible way, and to be totally honest, before we met Michael, we struggled to find an officiant who understood us and gave us the feeling we were in good hands. Michael not only took the time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple, but he also went above and beyond to tailor his speech to perfection. He found the exact words to make us feel seen, amused, understood, and absolutely happy. He even researched the videogame I met my husband in and used a few of the beautiful phrases our favorite characters say. As if that weren't impressive enough, he was the very first person to arrive at the ceremony, looking sharp in his suit, ready for anything that came our way. Did you forget a ring box? No worries, he had one. Would your makeup get ruined with all the tears? Fear not. He had Q-tips and tissues in every pocket. For those who get the reference, his suit was like Mary Poppins bag. He also made sure we were calm, relaxed, and happy before stepping outside the bridal room and helped us with all introductions and announcements. Throughout the entire event, and even before that, communication was smooth, prompt, and transparent. I could keep going about how impressed and grateful we are to have hired him, but I believe this review says we absolutely recommend him clearly enough.

When our hand fasting cord got left behind, you went running mid ceremony to find it even tho you didn't have to..only taking maybe 2 min to find it amongst all the craziness of wedding decor, boxes, bridesmaids bags and who only knows what else!!...then running it out to our outdoor ceremony (those longs legs help!) I believe you knew where more things were than any of us did the day of!! My husband, so grateful for your humor and professionalism was beyond thankful when you would fix his boutonnière and in the moment tell him things to help keep everything going smoothly...like not to hug people wearing makeup the way he was bc he's so tall too, that they were smearing all over his suit but you pulled out a shout wipe, cleaned him up and kept it moving. Communication from our first phone call all the way through after the wedding was impeccable. We had a blast doing all of our photos, you keep it light and fun so everyone can relax and you can get the shots we wanted, to have our wedding day story told so beautifully. Renee was on top of everything throughout the planning process, making arrangements, coordinating vendors and offering wonderful advice. The day of the weddings Renee and Allison hit the ground running. She was onsite while the girls were getting hair and makeup, coordinated and pick up food for the girls and the guys at a different location. She is the absolute BEST! We planned and had two weddings within 6 months, during the pandemic. Renee talked us all off of the ledge a few times and was my voice of reason often. I can not say thank you enough to Renee for all that she did for us to coordinate our weddings. I highly recommend hiring Renee. "Events by Renee" was worth their weight in gold.

Overall Impression: This was not a good value for the money spent. Our daughter's wedding was not given any significant priority, even the month of the wedding. Note that Ms. Rhinehart, the owner of the business, works part-time in this business and full-time developing partyhosthelper.com. We were not privy to this when booking. Pros: * Day of Support good; the Planner worked long hours, even helped with clean up * Taping job for bride's wardrobe malfunction excellent, stayed in place * Help with bridesmaid's dress also very good * Flexible with some last minute/late changes (changing three lights to two on the tables, changing plans to attend the AA tasting) * Helpful in acting as the bride and groom's witness when they applied for their marriage license * Picked up favors and stored centerpieces for the bride Cons: * Planning missed a lot of important details throughout planning (wedding date, etc.); does not take notes at meetings * Did not feel like personal service as requested in the initial interview, not enough time with bride. The bride missed dates to do things because the Planner was not in regular touch with the bride. The MOB had to step in to actively plan the wedding. * Very difficult to contact except email, even to schedule a meeting which had to be during business hours * Vendor search limited to one vendor, even after MOB mentioned the one vendor did not work * Planner not flexible to redo the vendor search after COVID rescheduling (extra fee for this), resulting in MOB, bride doing their own vendor searches for some vendors * Not budget-oriented as requested in initial interview in terms of purchasing additional services, resulting in going over budget continuously with nearly every vendor hired * Forgot that we were out of town in planning the wedding * Did not receive payment notifications when things were due or adequate budget spreadsheets * Nearly all communications (mostly emails) left something to be desired, resulting in lots of wasted time for the MOB, FOB, and others * Lack of timely response to many inquiries * Knowledge of venue not adequate (overstated in initial interview) * The Planner did not know the correct order for a Jewish wedding (where they stand at the altar) and directed incorrectly. This resulted in bride's family not seeing her face on the video. * Suggested lots of add-on fees for things that should have been included even though we paid for the premium service plus extra for planning additional parties. * Two special requests from MOB (a search of more than one vendor for chairs and welcome bag assembly) were handled mostly by assistants, resulting in uneven results. * No support given for times the planner was not available (her honeymoon and maternity leave)

She's an LBI local who's very familiar with the best spots to capture photographs. She's super personable and easy to get along with, which makes for a relaxing photo session. Our family photo shoots involve 6 adults and 3 kids and she captures everyone along with smaller groups (like grandparents with the grandkids or individual families). She is patient and understanding and knows how crazy it can be when kids get tired or rambunctious. She can do multiple locations for photo shoots - just recently we did the beach for some pics and then headed to Sunset Park to use as another location. In years past we used the lighthouse. I would highly recommend Nicole to capture any family memories, whether it's a wedding or, if you're like us, on vacation and want to get professional photos to capture everyone. Nicole basically serves as a day-of-coordinator with the detailed timeline she puts together for the day (sorry I deviated from it sometimes LOL). Nicole has the best personality and the ability to get a group to focus so pictures can be completed efficiently! Our parents and bridal party loved her and her second shooter, Mel. Nicole was also open to suggestions throughout the day if I felt like I wanted a specific photo in the moment. We received SO MANY photos back with our full album, each one better than the next, making it so difficult to choose a photo for our canvas and pick our album! Thank you Nicole for making what can be a stressful process so seamless with your knowledge, poise, and flexibility. I would hands down choose you again if I could to be apart of our special day.     If I could give them zero stars, I would. A company's reputation is defined by how they handle…read morethings that go wrong. And with this company, let the buyer beware. While delivering party rentals to my next door neighbor, their delivery driver hit my basketball court, knocking it to the ground, shattering the backboard, destroying the rim and hydraulics and exploding the base. The drivers stopped, exited the vehicle, picked the basketball court up, left the broken pieces on the ground and drove away. We have video and photos of the entire incident which have been shared with the company and its owner. They have not taken a single step in the right direction and nothing has been done to rectify several hundred dollars in property damage. A complaint has been filed with our local police department, which they have not responded to. Charges are pending in civil court. This is not how reputable companies do business. Not only is it morally reprehensible, it is illegal.

I've worked with Mike and his team twice now and both experiences have been filled with quick, efficient, and personable service. For an upcoming event, Mike came out to the site, measured all the rooms and is in the process of entering the info into a program that creates a basic blueprint of the venue. He's figuring out where all the tables are to be situated, he's helped me visualize where the vendors should go, and even offered to deliver and pick up the tables, chairs, linens, and other rental stuff during non-business hours. Being a one-woman operation, it's really wonderful to have someone like Mike on my side. He's taken a lot of stress off my shoulders and I gave him a muffin for that.
