I very happy with that I got a huge discount on my purchase with a rewards voucher and coupons, however I can only give 3 stars because cashier Emilia does not understand how the digital rewards card, coupons, and vouchers work. She has insisted twice now that I need to put in my phone number before she can scan anything off my phone. The first time I went along with it but my number didn't go through and I had to argue with her to get her to just scan my phone. I almost gave up and left without the items I needed. Today she said she needed me to put in my phone number. She'll probably remember as the rude woman you snapped "no you don't, we went through this last time" and made her scan the barcode off my phone. I then had to keep reminding her to scan the voucher and coupons. Other cashiers are competent, it's only Emilia that I've ever had a problem with. From now on I'll avoid getting checked out by Emilia, even if it means leaving the store without buying anything. read more

Sherri the cashier was very unfriendly, didn't even bother to say hello, made *hmm* type noises everytime she scanned one of my items, she pretty much threw all the items I purchased into bag, then proceeded to yeet the bag under the cover at me. very unprofessional, wont be coming back to this location. Good place to get items for all your crafting needs! They have such cute stickers for scrapbooks, and I had little trouble finding the different clasps for my beaded necklaces and bracelets. My main complaints is that almost every time I come when it's busy they don't have enough cashiers working. However, it's really easy to find coupons to use.. every cent counts! This franchise sure has changed a lot over the past few years. Like any other business it has had to increase prices. O.K. But, does service to customers have to suffer for it? We were there on a Saturday morning and there was about 20-22 customers in line and out of 6 cash register stations, there were 2 open! It wasn't a holiday. It has no federal employees on furlough. It wasn't lunch time. It's just poor management! They've rearranged the store that helps some people, but most of the craft stuff is mostly towards the back. For seniors, that's quite the walk even though it has to be done in order to get the supplies you need for your grandkids crafts or party supplies. What is even sadder, most of the supplies we needed we got at the $.99 Store and cheaper! Go figure? Used to love this store, but customer service most of all is the spoiler. Online it says they offer a military discount, but when I asked the guy about it, his response was I need to show that discount on my phone. First, I'm a freak because Imdon't own a cell phone. Crazy, right? Second, I showed him my military ID and he wasn't phased. Really? If they ever restart the draft, I hope he's the first one called up. Sorry, that's pretty mean I know. Can you say cluster F? They may have everything under the sun, but Ill be dammed if it isn't a pain in the ass trying to find what you need. I'm on an origami kick and I had a 40% coupon to use so I decided to come down here and check out their selection. Their origami paper selection was pretty whack. I was hoping they would have a mega pack of origami paper, something like 1000 sheets or something that would cost 20 bucks so I could get the most value from my coupon....nope....the most expensive thing they had was $10 for 200 sheets. I also needed some pipe cleaners to make stems for my flowers. I walked that damn store 6 times and couldn't find them. I finally saw an employee and asked her where they were and she showed me. There were 2 cashiers just sitting there bullshitting the whole time. They should put more people out on the floor to help lost souls like myself find the stuff we need. The prices are good and they really do have pretty much everything/anything you can think of.....finding it is a bitch though and that's why this review is only 3 stars. read more

I don't leave reviews often but today was just something else, i came in looking for stickers and pens and found some stickers on a rack labeled 30% off, which i loved since these are 2 dollar stickers smaller than a dime. But when i went to check out they were not on sale so i asked the associate to double check and she politely asked her coworker- who was an older lady wearing a Scooby-Doo shirt.. if she was still on the floor and let me say her attitude was beyond unprofessional. I've been in this store a couple of times. If they're not at the cash register they are helpful. I was standing in a line we're I'd be next to pay and the girl turns the light off and walks away. No "sorry" or "she can help you there". I wasn't very happy about that so I mentioned what happened to the other checker 2 checkstands down and she tells me "Oh. We'll she's not supposed to be there". Not sure if other Michael's stores have bad customer service too, but this is a store I'm going to try to avoid. read more

I love this store, and always spend more money here than I mean to. XD The attendants tend to be short-handed, but still do their best to help you find what you need. They have a good range of items as well, especially among jewelry supplies and paint brushes, etc. They have frequent sales, and the Michael's app for my Android comes with good coupons as well, a lot of 40% off one item or entire sale, which helps out a lot. Really, just a fun store to browse, even if you're not going to buy anything. I know they also have classes that I think are free to join, like how to scrapbook and the like, but I haven't been to one yet so I can't speak as to how useful they are. read more

I don't come here often I'm not a big crafter at all in fact I hate to do anything that one would call crafty. I come here once a month now that my daughter back in school I'll be making my monthly trip for unique supplies to help her with all those take home projects.I can always find what I need that's a plus however Sometimes I have questions about where to locate items and I can never find any staff members on the sales floor to help. I also find the items in the store to be expensive but I'm always guarantee to find what I want. read more

I usually don't have a problem shopping here, or anywhere else, really. Actually, I believe this is my first negative review. I can usually find what I need and have not, until tonight, had any problems with employees. I found what I needed and got in line like any other store. No one else was waiting so I waited for lane 5. After a few minutes of waiting for the lady in front of me to finish getting rung up I had an encounter with an officious snot of an employee named Katie (tall with long, red-shaded hair). Apparently she decided that everyone should be in not one, but TWO different UNMARKED lines to wait for a cashier and she acted as though we all should have known this protocol, despite a total lack of signage indicating this practice. I was clearly not the only customer puzzled by this directive--the other waiting customers and I were all looking at each other like "what the heck??" She snapped at us that this two line system of her's "was just like a grocery store", which no, Katie, if this were like a grocery store I would have stayed in line at lane 5 and been quickly on my merry little way instead of getting moved to the back of one of your arbitrary lines. Frankly, treating your customers like they're all idiots is not a good way to go. I don't believe I ever heard her say "please" to anyone either. Her attitude and plainly sour demeanor were enough to deter me from returning to this store in the future. I would have only given 1 star were it not for the very nice cashier (Stephanie) that checked me out. I was obviously quite annoyed after the encounter with Katie and said something to that effect (Stephanie, I apologize for the swear word I used) but Stephanie was very polite and kind and careful with my purchases. I was a worker there. the mangagers are rude and unprofessional the first day i watched one manger act like she was giving her worker a blowjob and the amount of money they make off of people is crazy you buy a 40 dollar reef but walmart has the same one for 5 dollars and the managers are all trying to go over each other. My five star rating is for the custom framing department. I have now had three different items framed there and they have all turned out fantastic. This last time in particular was the best experience I had. Maria was the one who helped me pick out the right color for the matting and helped me select the perfect frame for a wall portrait of my daughter. She obviously has a lot of experience and knows what she's doing. She had a couple other customers waiting for help and was able to juggle everyone to get everyone the right amount of attention and handled in a timely manner. I will definitely go back to get more of my portraits of my children framed by Maria. I just picked up my portrait and it looks amazing! The only thing I dislike about this Michael's is the check out is horrible. There is always only 1 cashier upfront regardless if there's one person waiting in line for 10. I always have to wait a minimum of 10 minutes to get checked out. I think it's rude that other associates see the ridiculous line and customers with angry faces and yell at the other associate that they're going on their break or what not. read more
