My sister and I come here all the time and we seriously love this shop! Every time we walk in, we're always greeted so nicely, and I love that they actually remember us and make us feel welcome. Everyone is always friendly and helpful without ever making you feel pressured to buy anything. Their prices are always really fair, and they have a great selection, so we always end up finding something. It's become one of those places we genuinely enjoy stopping by, even just to see what's new. Definitely our go-to card shop! read more

First I would like to start by saying I came to San Diego just to visit card shops, mainly for sports cards, out of the many LCS here I have to say although this store is a bit smaller than other, their delivery to provide great customer service and and satisfaction is in my opinion should be looked at as a beacon of excellence to other shops, their selection of product was amazing, a bit of everything for everyone wether your flavor is TCG or Sports, they had a wide variety of singled and slabs and as far as buying and selling they go by the standards or a true card collector, not these store only offering 50-60% cash and 55-65% trade value, they understand the value of building a clientele and wanting them to come back, unlike some other store (papa) not saying any names, I would rate this store with more stars if I could. if you're looking for great card shop, I would drive the extra mile and come to Supreme, they do everything the right way, thank you for everything and I will come back read more

I came back for a second visit and had the same great experience as the first. The vendors are always well-mannered, patient, and genuinely eager to help, which makes a big difference when you're still growing your collection. They create an environment where I actually feel comfortable and safe enjoying my hobby, instead of feeling rushed or judged while browsing. I also wanted to share a page from my binder so far--really happy with how it's coming along thanks to places like this that make collecting enjoyable ^^ read more

Do not shop this card shop. Everything is 3x MSRP for Pokemon. They ruin the hobby. These are scalpers with a storefront that is all. Crooks. read more

Took my kids in to look at Pokémon cards today. The guy at the counter with the dyed red hair leaned right down to talk to my kid at his eye level. I thought that was so considerate and kind. My kids left the shop happy and told me that they want to come back here again. Thank you so much! read more

I have been looking for a good shop and finally drove out to La mesa to check it out. I was very surprised by the prices and selection. Staff was super friendly and I think they all said hi and when I left at least 3 or 4 of them said bye and have a good day. Bought a flagship blaster for 25$ and a prizm blaster for 20. I'll definitely be back and do a lot more business with these guys! I may just make it my new hang out! Glad to see a shop not driving prices through the roof and making it affordable for the hobby!! Also, a bunch of Pokémon stuff there too but I have no idea of what's good and prices on that stuff. read more

Doug the owner is amazing! My bf and I came to visit San Diego for his birthday. I couldn't say enough good words about this place. He was so attentive and we had the best conversations with him! What an amazing crew of guys! Super kind and gave us insight on our cards and good recommendations. Highly recommend checking it out :)

The trading cards that I possessed are only for sentimental values. I have no interest in having the cards graded for profit. I turn in four are card for grading and there was a miss understanding with the employee that was helping with the card check process. But the employee was only looking out for my Best interest. I also had a conversation with the owner Doug which explained the process in more detail. Also he suggested a different option in preserving my older cards. Thank you Doug and your staff. read more

Supreme Card Shop is top tier in service and selection. My son and I hit up the shop every couple of weeks and they never disappoint. We were just in today and picked up some baseball singles. We have done trades, puchased slabs, and just talk shop. What I value the most is the quality time with my son. Supreme Card Shop.....thank you! read more

Great card shop! Been quite a few times and have always had a nice experience here. Friendly staff and great pokemon single display.

I stopped in with my 6- and 3-year-old daughters, who've recently fallen in love with Pokémon cards -- something I was obsessed with back in the '90s at their age. I'm not one of the adults who still collects, but now my girls are all in... and I'm along for the ride! From the moment we walked in, they were welcomed with so much kindness. I didn't catch her name -- she wore glasses -- but she was incredibly sweet to my girls and even gifted them each a Pokémon Trainer Box. It absolutely made their day. They haven't stopped talking about building decks since. They spent the rest of our visit carefully picking out their favorite cards from the mixed singles boxes -- Jigglypuff and Pancham were top picks -- and wide-eyed staring at some of the wildly priced cards (definitely made me wish I'd held onto mine from back in the day!). Here's hoping their new Pokémon passion doesn't completely drain my wallet... but this shop made 2/22 a day they won't forget. Thank you -- especially to the kind employee who went out of her way to make two little girls feel so special. We'll absolutely be back! read more

Location is right off the freeway and very easy to find. The two staff members that spoke with us and helped my teenage son and I were friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are very close to market or just below. If you are into any type of cards this store has something for you. Overall decent experience. read more

Came by to get some cards checked out for their value. Albeit, I didn't get the price point I wished, they took the time to check out my booklets of cards out. Wow! I was traveling not far away and had previously visited Supreme Card Shop's website so I ventured over for a first visit. Such a pleasant experience means I just have to tell Yelp. Based on my A++ experience, they deserve 5+ Stars. There were several people working the store and all of them warmly welcomed me, including and especially Mike whom I took to be the boss. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. The store is exceptionally clean and organized. There's an ample supply of all kinds of cards, supplies and other sports memorabilia. Better still, the prices for what I was looking for were great. It was a fun place to be. My high compliments to this store and everyone working there. They have my sincere thanks for adding a delightful experience to my day! read more

I brought my son and his friend their today, both were shopping for baseball and Pokémon cards. Both had same amount of money (I gave them both the same amount) and were well behaved. When they were purchasing their items the man gave one kid multiple free cards and a huge discount for no reason or explanation and the other just charged full price. They were standing together the whole time which made my son feel really sad and bad. The white kid got discounts and free cards for some unknown reason and the Mexican just had to pay full price. They spent the rest of the day wondering why that happened and the white kid eventually said "I think it's because you are brown." Now my brown kid has felt like crap all day. I guess we will never know. read more

Just had dinner in the area and we decided to drop by this place. My son collects cards so I was trying to figure out and get a head start for my Christmas shopping. Big shout out to Jake! My daughter and my first visit to a proper card shop. Not only did my daughter get a decent pull from her Pokemon pack but she found some adorable Disney princess cards. Jake provided some knowledge on the newer cards, explained I could visit with my childhood collection for help with prices and grading, and even through a few cards towards my daughter's collection. I'm so thankful for finding this store through Pat, Deep Pocket Monster. This will now become the main store for us moving forward! We were interested in finding out the value of our baseball card collection. Everyone we spoke to on the phone and at the store was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive. Spent an hour or two hanging out here today with my son. Reminds me of the card shop of my childhood. Tons of cool sports memorabilia including a framed Mike Tyson set of gloves and multiple signed football helmets. This is my second time coming to this shop with my husband and first time for my brother. I came for One Piece, husband for sports and brother for Pokémon. Everyone is so nice!!! The team was so helpful. Lonnie (I'm sorry if I spelled her name wrong) was so helpful! I want to learn how to play OP TCG and do not know where to start. She gave some tips and a list of websites to check out to learn more about the game. She even spotted me Don cards to start building my own deck. I didn't get a chance to really thank her, she was busy with customers. THANK YOU SO MUCH LONNIE!!!! We also met Doug, the owner, and had a fun conversation. We are mos def going to be coming to this shop regularly. I look forward to building my deck! My brother will be coming back with his childhood collection Pokémon cards to get graded. Great all around! read more
