I love this store! It's generally clean and they typically have a great selection, but Emily L. is rude and needs an attitude adjustment.

It is literally here is a binder how much. Then they take every single card out so you stand there putting everything back like you are the problem. They offered me one dollar for full arts. I had about one hundred forty of them. I asked for one fifty which was more than fair since two of the cards alone were worth over one hundred twenty. The response I got was just why. They also own the shop in Clawson which somehow has even less inventory and even worse customer service. I watched a customer bring in a binder with vintage cards and other great stuff. The owner offered fifty dollars. It was a joke. I said I would at least look at it and he told me not in his store. I said fine I can look outside. He said no again. When I said that I just do not want to see them rip off nice people the way they tried to rip me off at the other shop he told me to get out and took back the one hundred fifty plus cards I was about to buy. If you go here only buy sealed and do not let them hassle you. They know when someone is strapped and they try to take advantage. I would never come back after how I was treated. If anyone else has had a similar experience please share it so people know what to expect before they walk in.

A safe space and wonderful haven for a little nerd like me, Rochester Sports Cards and Memorabilia…read moreis a wonderful pillar in the downtown Rochester community that I love visiting! At any given point, there will be people at the tables in the middle of the store (spanning from the front to the back) gathering together to play various different card games, board games, or some proper Dungeons and Dragons! The very front of the store houses their clearance section and then as you go back, you'll hit their sports cards and memorabilia section, but in the proper back of the store is where the FUN is with Pokemon cards, DND merch, and so much more to be checking out! The owner and workers here are so friendly and they know their regulars well and strike up friendly, helpful conversation with all customers! You truly feel welcome here and there's nothing I love more than connecting with other people over the same passions and geeking out together! An absolutely delightful spot that I want to be around forever and ever in this quaint, local downtown area!

Disregard the other review; this is NOT a video game store. It's a table-top game shop…read more This is the only Games Workshop in Michigan! I first called to locate the store (Google Maps' address doesn't take you to the storefront, just the crossroads) and the man who answered was so bubbly, I thought it was an automated message. I eventually found it (near Famous Daves) and met the man behind the voice. He is SO friendly and helpful. I didn't find what I needed, but damn did the man try to help me find it. He gave me the names of a few other possible stores (I was looking for polyhedral dice) and showed me their catalogue. If you ever want something from their site, just call in and ask them to order it- you pay no shipping! The store has an impressive stock and apparently holds tournaments very frequently!

Terrific store and the manager is wonderful!…read more I've been to several Games Workshop stores in the past (back when this location wasn't the only one in Michigan) and had unfortunate experiences with pushy sales associates. Not so here. The manager of this store is very knowledgeable of the product lines and goes above and beyond to help you find what you are looking for. He is very passionate and willing to offer advice when it comes to gaming strategies, and painting advice (literally this guy goes above and beyond). While the store is small, it has a great atmosphere. Many people in the store are regulars and are very welcoming. Games are constantly running so it offers many opportunities for you to watch games unfold and even pit your armies against other players. Store stock is consistent and Games Workshop offers free shipping if you order something online and have it shipped to the store.

They have so many comics and tons of toys for a variety of fandoms like Funko, DC, Marvel, wrestling. All items were reasonably priced and the gentleman working there was really nice and offered us assistance if we needed it. We decided to purchase some comics and they were a great deal! Highly recommend this business and will definitely be back!

Oh Funky Town Toys. I've been a patron of this awesome store for a few years now. I first went into…read moretheir location on Hayes and Hall Rd. (they have moved since then) to snag some free comic books on Free Comic Book Day. I've been coming back ever since! My son loves to collect Star Wars action figures. I am also a child, so I love to browse and buy the occasional trinket or toy. The old location was a little small and tucked away in a relatively crowded strip mall on the bustling intersection of Hall Rd and Hayes. The drive there was frustrating enough to limit my appearances there. They have since moved to a new location...terrifyingly close by. Now it's super convenient to visit the new store. The strip mall they moved to is much less busy and the location is way easier to spot from Van Dyke. The interior of the store is jam packed with lots of collectibles. They have a variety of wrestling, GI Joe, Star Wars and Funko Pops to name a few things. There's so much more there too (like superhero themed comic books). With as much stuff as Funky Town Toys has, the inside of the store is quite clean and spacious. It's always a pleasure to walk around and look at all of the potential money I can spend on stuff! If you're into old and new action figures and collectibles, you should take a stroll into Funky Town Toys. There's lots to choose from...and if you're looking for something in particular...just ask and they will talk with you...and maybe they can find something for you. Seriously...I love this place. They always have a huge selection and the staff are incredibly nice. They also know a ton about collectibles. There's a parking lot right out in front of the store, but if it's full, there's a small public parking lot right around the corner! I did the ground work for you...now you have no other excuses. Go check them out. Thanks! Brian S.
