I paid for the work via Paypal as well as an additional $30 fee for shipping to Ontaio, Canada after I was unable to go to Michigan to pick up the staff in person. I have been emailing and phoning Mr. Barley to request a completion date on the work and he fails to contact me by either means. I could understand an email saying I am very busy but your staff in is work but to not reply at all ... one begins to wonder. My recommendations is I would not rely on Mr. Barley for any work as as the previous posting said "I am out over $160"

They have different sized ducks at the entrance of the checkout. There are two self-checkouts. One staffer working at the checkout. Entrance for the checkout is on the left, can't tell right away until you try to enter on the right side. No go. Bought a 8x10 frame for the store for a print. $9. Why is a white painted frame $3 more than a silver painted frame? Make it make sense to me. No one spoke to us at all.

A lot of cheap floral and non crafty dollar store items that are high priced. If the store just focused on fabric and yarn crafts, they could reduce space by 2/3rd, keep the store clean, fill the shelves and make money. This is a loosing model.

She didn't greet us or any of the other customers who walked in. She barely spoke to my friend who actually made a purchase...nor did she thank her for the purchase! They also have a snarky sign posted on the wall about not stealing from a small business so they can stay in business...I have an idea...how about you help the customers who are actually shopping local!!! That would help you stay in business and deter theft! The store used to be great in their old location, it is way too crowded now. They had some cute things but I refuse to purchase anything in a place that doesn't treat me well. I doubt I'll be back, there are so many great boutiques in Rochester to support.

That being said... the cashier who checked me out made me feel like a nobody. I was clearly the only one in line and she ask for the next customer, I step up an I was greeted with " oh , are you next" with disgust in her voice. Then she does not bother to ask if I need a box for a couple of my items that clearly needed boxes. And she asked everyone else if they wanted gold stamps. Not me. Very disappointing. This is my go to shop. I'm not going to go because of this women but I will not be there if she's checking me out. I walked inside and the lady who greeted me told me she would be just a minute. Nobody else was in the store so I don't know why I had to wait for her to ring me up. I asked for a paper bag with handles. She had given me a plastic bag with handles. Her response was, no your bag has handles. You can't have that one. I was very much taken aback by her rude and abrupt tone and the fact that she would not give me a paper bag. I will never go back to a store that would be so cheap as to not give a customer a paper bag upon request
