Ok here are the positives: It's definitely different and innovative. With Painting with a Twist…read more(and the likes) becoming so popular, this concept of making framed signs, pillow cases, clothed signs, etc., is quite new. And with the end product, there's a greater chance of you putting it on display at home than putting up a painting (unless you're really good at it). The problem I have is with the stencils and the quality of them. When you put a stencil onto the piece, you should never have to worry about paint bleeding out. Hence, the purpose of the stencil. Yet, this continued to happen. Even putting the stencil on the piece (which is done by a member of staff) proved to be very trying. All of this led to wasted time. Our class was 4-630 pm and at 715 pm, my piece was still incomplete. I ended up having to leave it there as we had reservations at 715 pm, and will have to pick up the finished product later on. I definitely think they need more staff to help people along and stay within the allotted time. Also, they definitely need better stencil sticking paper, because that whole thing was super annoying. The staff were very helpful and kind-- just not enough of them. This will probably be my last time going.

You get to choose the type of stain you would like, the paint you would like, and so much more! They made the process super easy so anyone and everyone can do it, while still having a good time. I am absolutely in love with my Lazy Susan that I made, I can't wait to use it and show it off to my friends and family! In my opinion this is an amazing place to have a party, birthday celebration, or any type of gathering.

We decided to stop by Michael's to check out their yarn selection for my next project; Joann's Fabrics is usually my go-to. Although our shopping experience was good, I didn't find any yarn that I wanted or any yarn priced better than Joann's. The yarn selection was smaller than I expected. The store layout wasn't the easiest to navigate, but I managed to find my way around. The self-checkout was a pleasant surprise, allowing us to check out quickly and get back to our movie. As soon as we walked in, we spotted a clearance rack filled with 17oz Yankee Candle style large jar candles. Originally priced at around $12, they were marked down to $2.50! We couldn't resist grabbing one and chose the Sea Mist scent, which we thought smelled the best. I would recommend Michael's to others. They offer a variety of craft-friendly and (some) everyday items at economical prices.

The people who work there do not know how to answer any sewing related questions...if you can even find someone to help! Then I have to check myself out! I really don't understand why they run coupons on their website that I can take 30% off my entire purchase online, but the store coupon is for one regular price item, that's absurd! Most of the products I buy there I prefer to see in person. Do better Michael's! I hope they are making a lot of profit on the balloons they are so proud of carrying now, I hope they have a better selection than the fabrics they said they were going to carry now.
