Went to return an item I no longer needed. They have a lot of customer pick ups it looks like. The store is usually not busy but they must have a loyal following. It's nice to see. The associate at the cask wrap helped me with my return. He had issues with the computer but he was pleasant and helpful. Their Halloween items are on sale and I'm so excited!!!! Looking for a place for arts and crafts or even a project for school to. On the islands we don't have a craft store so when I'm in the mainland, this is my go to stop. When I entered I was greeted almost immediately. There are plenty of signage around the shop depending on what your looking for. Kind of a bargain shopper myself so I usually buy stuff if I have a coupon or discount of some type. Some of the discounts I found around the store were crafts for kids and paint. Also a great selection of baking supplies. A few of the items were on clearance without stickers but I did see an employee marking the prices. He even offered to check a few of the prices for me. A few of the Do it yourself projects were on clearance lsuch as wedding supplies, masks, paint,birthday supplies. Had EXCEPTIONAL customer service today in Framing. Grae was helpful and gracious, and solved an error made in my order very quickly.

Such a horrible experience nearly every time I go. It's more of a chore to go and when it comes to crafting, that's difficult to do. Today's experience wasn't much better. Ordered items that the website said they had, but they didn't. That's a matter or doing inventory properly. However, usually it says low stock. So to be that far off? But that's just the start. I received my email that said the order was ready. 15 minutes later I received an email saying half my order was cancelled. I would have been really angry if I had gone over there to find they only had half my order. I called to cancel the whole order, which you can't do without calling. The first girl I spoke to I could barely hear. She asks for all my information and says she'll get a manager, but then didn't give the manager the information. So, I had to start over, with her answering the phone, "Yeah?" I'm a bit taken back by this behavior and stutter out, "I was told you could help me." "Yeah?" Yep. Order cancelled and I will NEVER step foot in another Michael's again. I'm guessing a lot of other people feel the same way. It's always desolate. You could hear a cricket fart. read more

I like this store. I'm a girl, and I like to make things, or at least pretend to make things (even if I am not very good at it). I shop here often, I'm glad it's close to home. I think it is amusing that being that Parker is so small, we have more then one craft store when we don't have more then one of many things, but that is aside from the point. I don't like that this store seems to be very messy sometimes, or that I never know where anything is. I think the layout of this store should be re-worked. The old adage about a company being as good as the people who represent it holds especially true here. The checker, also named Michael, wasn't remotely friendly or helpful. I understand it's the holiday season, but that's all the more important to be kind and pleasant. Michael wasn't happy about the price match offer, wasn't pleasant about entering the additional discount on my purchase, and didn't even offer a "thank you" after the transaction was complete. Clearly, his name tag should've read "Grinch" or "Scrooge" instead of "Michael." Customer service just isn't what it should be at this store. read more

Michaels Store here on 20 mile road in Parker is super awesome. All the people that work here are so friendly and if you need any help they don't hesitate. Today I needed help to buy an item and the Manager Lena, was extremely helpful these are true people that treat you like family. Nice selection of art canvases and the store was easy to get in and out of on a Saturday. Employee working the register was very friendly and helpful. Signage was not up to date though to reflect the current sale. Signs were marked 50% off when they should have read 70% off. The cashier wasn't sure when I inquired about the sale but was able to scan the items to confirm. I will.defknately shop here again when they have another sale going on. read more

I was totally bored on a Saturday night, but so excited to see that Michael's was open until 9 o'clock. I went to the store and search through their bead section because the sale price was so amazing. The sales people were extremely helpful and I picked out all the beads I needed and I made a necklace. I also used a coupon that I found on the Michael's app. It was one of the best Saturday nights I've had in a long time. I made necklace and earrings and wore them to church the next day and got so many compliments. I went to micheals to pick up something for my daughter and none of the staff was available because they were too busy talking about their lives. Then, when I went to pay I was waiting in line for about 15 minutes and I was in the front... the ladies were oblivious that other customers and I were waiting while they were talking about what they did yesterday. Do not use Michaels, well at least this location, for affixing your photos to a poster board. I had a large photo that was cut into approximately 8 8x10 pieces that I needed to stick on a poster board. The first time I went to pick it up, it was ruined because the heat from the machine damaged the actual pictures. This was originally a birthday gift, but because I had to reorder the picture (from the UK), I had to wait another 2 weeks to receive it back and now it is a Christmas present. Michaels acknowledged they damaged the photos and paid for the new item and shipping. Well, I brought it back to Michaels, again (shame on me), and this time the 8 pictures were placed crooked and uneven as glued to the poster board (why is this so hard to do?). If they couldn't do this project in a professional manner, I wish they would have told me and I would have gladly taken it to another store. Once the pictures were glued to the poster board, there was nothing I could do. Since I couldn't order them again, and now it was a Christmas present, I accepted the sub-par product. Three days later, the material they affixed the photos to in order for them to "stick" was peeling off the poster board. Now real frustration sets in. I go back to the store and they tell me they can cut off the extra paper around the border and glue the pictures directly to the poster board (still crooked and uneven, however). Well, the finished product is very unprofessional, and unacceptable. The photos are lifting in some areas, the cutting of the paper around the photos is amateurish, and there is still space between some of the photos and unevenness. I asked for an estimate to put a frame around it with glass/acrylic (hoping to mask the errors). The cost was almost $700. Never mind! So much for my wonderful and thoughtful gift...RUINED! read more

I have been bring my needlework to this store for years. The new framing manager is awful. I have had to have the last three pieces of needlework redone. Went to pick up a piece today and for the second time it is being redone. I will be looking for a new framing place. read more
