Immediately after me, she decided to ring up a (White lady) who did not have to wait in line AT ALL! Granted she only had one item, so did I. Hobby Lobby already has a BAD rapport with racism but this was the final straw. I did not feel valued as a customer or respected as a person. As someone who crafts and decorates for a living, I vow to never shop Hobby Lobby again. I will refer my clients, friends and family to shop elsewhere as well.

I am an Interior Designer and I have build many floating/contemporary countertops out of slabs of Carleton McLendon's wood, as well as gorgeous coffee tables and floating benches and shelving. I have also met craftsmen in the shop that make guitars our of the wood from Carletons, and others making cabinetry etc. It's a madhouse of creativity up in Carletons and I would stop by just for a look if you're in the neighborhood (across the street from Antico Pizza...who has one of the largest teak slabs known in the US...they use it to roll out there awesome dough...and guess where it came from? Carleton McLendon...PS- this teak slab use to be a prayer table in India)!
