I've been waiting on a specific Christmas ornament for a while to arrive back to Michael's a Studio Decor (angel picture frame-in loving memory with this year on it). Nancy from store #7729, helped research it and unfortunately it's not available for this year. She partnered with another associate to locate the ornaments they do have with "2024" on it and she helped me put one together with angel charms to make it even more special. She went the extra mile with customer service and because of her I have a beautiful Christmas ornament for my loved one. Thank you Nancy!

This Michaels is super close to my house. I've been in the market for a new wreath for my door since I took my Christmas wreath down. I received an email from Michael's that they were having a sale so I clicked on it and started looking online for a new wreath. The originally price for the wreath was $39.99, but it was on sale for $23.99. Score! So I ordered it online for pickup in the store. I stopped by this morning to pick up the wreath. There was a display at the front of the store that tells you to push the button to pick up your order. I did not see this so I stood in line. I didn't have to wait too long. The young lady that helped me showed me the display as you walk in the door. So now I know I do not have to wait in line when I'm picking up an online order. I have purchased several items from this Michaels in the past few years. One of the things I purchased was an arrangement to go in a vase in my bathroom. I've had this for at least four years and it still looks nice. Even though I'm sure it has been sprayed with water a few times as it is next to my sink. I recommend this Michaels for your home decorating or craft supply needs. You can't beat the prices and most of the time there is a coupon available.

I love this michaels!! It's huge and easy to get lost but man you can find just about anything in here! There are great crafts, decorations for anything and all kinds of random things. There are ALWAYS coupons online, simply google michaels coupons. If you have a customer account they send you awesome coupons by email as well. The store itself always has things on sale! I have to make myself leave lol

This place has everything for the crafty person and so much more. Over the holidays, they had those giant fragranced jar candles on sale (4 for $10). Unfortunately, I was in a rush and didn't want to stand in that really long line. I could probably spend thousands of dollars here as they carry so many cute and unique items for DIY projects. If you're having the creative bug and want to pick up some affordable supplies for gift making, home decor, jewelry or fairy garden making - you must make a trip to this place. It's a little overwhelming, but take your time. It's definitely worth going.

This past week I frequented Michaels a couple of times on the hunt for photo frames. So glad that I made the trip - Michaels has a great selection of photo frames ranging from high-end / custom all the way to nice bare-bones basic poster frames. The frames we found for our parchments and huge completed jigsaw puzzle were perfect and very reasonably priced especially since we were well prepared with a 60% off coupon as well as a 50% coupon. We returned the next day to buy a few more frames and we were able to use the 40% off coupons (that came with our receipts from the previous day) as well as a 50% off coupon from JoAnns which Michaels price matched. This is good store with good customer service- don't hesitate to check them out.

I was at this awesome little shop this last Saturday, 4/22- fantastic inventory for a smaller shop. There are a few shops in the area with knife selection but they're utterly inferior (but fun to check out) compared to this shop. The one thing that showed me that this shop even existed was the awesome sign that says something along the lines of, "manly toys, manly hobbies"- I had to drop in to see if the sign lived up to its claim. As I've said, I was very impressed with the offerings they've got at this shop. Wasn't just that though- both of the employees on shift were absolutely top-notch. One of them was working on a tool or busy with something iirc but when I walked by him he greeted me and told me to please let him know if there's anything he can help me with. A few minutes later I took him up on it and asked if I could take a closer look at a nice camo para 2 I had my eye on. He dropped what he was doing and said, "oh absolutely brother, no trouble at all". Love the attitude. We chatted for a good 5-10 min, the guy is super knowledgeable.. steels/general metallurgy, guns, actions, history, etc.- the guy knew darn near everything. I forgot to ask his name but he's the guy who had a grandpa who worked on design for one of the big firearm manufacturers back in the day. I had just finished eating a big meal so I was a little sleepy- wish I remembered which manufacturer as that would help identify the guy (he and I were looking at one of the bright yellow serrated H2 knives that had a depressed glass-breaker at the butt of the knife's handle- we were both confused as neither of us had ever seen that mechanism in a knife before. It pops out when you squeeze the handle with the blade closed). He was great- best interaction I've had with an employee/salesperson in a good while- he definitely belongs in sales/customer service as he was warm, welcoming, very knowledgeable, conversational, etc. I genuinely enjoyed conversing with him and will definitely be back to this shop primarily because of him (it's hard to find good help nowadays- someone who actually cares about something other than tiktok, especially in the younger generations... I should know as I'm a part of those younger gens) but also because of the solid product selection. Anyway, there was a skinnier gentleman working behind the counter as well- he was great and very helpful. TL;DR : Come visit this shop- I promise you will absolutely not regret it! Great selection (Spyderco, Benchmade, Kershaw, Microtech, CRKT, etc), great staff, and solid location. I'll be back very soon! The only thing I'd like to see different is for them to start carrying Zero Tolerance. They're absolutely fantastic knives, rock-solid and they use great steels.

I've slowly come back into doing cross-stitch and it's been tough to find a local store with supplies, designs, and hand-dyed floss and fabric. There were a few kits at Reddi-Arts prior to their closure, but I haven't found much that isn't, at least, an hour drive away now. While the cross-stitch/embroidery section was a bit smaller than I hoped, I was excited to find some great Satsuma Street designs, some hand-dyed thread, and some different fabrics that were available. I definitely could come by with a floss color key and gather all I need for any project. I didn't get a chance to fully explore the books or even get into where the majority of PV Arts & Crafts fabric is held, but I'm looking forward to my next trip to delve in even more. As I was on my lunch, I didn't have too much time to poke around further into the store, so I'll have to make a return trip when I don't have a time restriction. This is a spot that is much bigger on the inside than it appears from the outside, and everyone would benefit for having some time to explore.

My sister-in-law was lining up to pay at a register which she didn't know or wasn't sure if this particular cashier/register was closed as he was still attending to one customer ahead of her. So she asked if he was still open. He responded with I am and was typing something away and then in the filipino language remarked," Ang kulit nito." Which in English translates to, "This one's annoying." Unbeknownst to him, my sister-in-law is also Filipino. So she told him she understood what he said and that it was poor customer service on his part and that all he could've said is he's open or closed and she could've moved on but he was being very rude. And he continued to ask my sister-in-law if she knew her mother which was said in a tone as if to threaten her. She then reported him to a so-called floor manager on duty who clearly wasn't interested and she left furios and called again today to report it. We are going back to this Hobby Lobby to file a formal complaint regarding this behavior by this particular employee who thinks name calling in his own native language, who we happen to also speak, is normal behavior for a Hobby Lobby representative. Shame on him and shame on this branch if they don't do something about his behavior. From name calling to threatening customers by who his mother is/was or whathaveyou. There more likely is only one Filipino cashier there or employee who does the register as well.
