I am not an expert on recovering anything-but it turned out pretty good for my first time. I am thinking about buying some more material to make some unique and interesting drapes for my windows. I will post pictures if I do make some. Recommend:? YES

Unbelievably Arrogant and Ignorant…read more When you ignore what your customers are repeatedly saying and show them the exact opposite of what they repeatedly tell you they want, you are either unbelievably arrogant or ignorant and there's no doubt you're going to not only lose business but gain a well deserved scolding on multiple social media platforms. My wife and I were approached by a very young looking male who we showed one of the existing cushioned seats for our dining room set of eight chairs. We explicitly told him we wanted a heavy, dark material and thick padding, likely 2" or more. We've reupholstered these before and knew what we wanted. He immediately directed us to the "premium" fabric in the store that was white and explained why it was what we should buy. When we asked if it came in dark colors, he said "no". Strike one, failure to listen to your customers. We asked him again to show us what he had in heavy, dark fabric, even black, and he directed us to a single roll of lightweight, sheer black fabric. Mind you, there were hundreds of rolls of fabric. When I say sheer, I mean you could see your hand on the other side of the fabric and the light shining through it. What part of heavy fabric was unclear? Strike two, failure to listen to your customers. We figured we would look around the store by ourselves as this employee clearly wasn't interested in listening to us, but we were also interested in feeling the density of their 2" seat cushioning. The first thing he showed us was a light batting that he said we'd want. No foam. So we asked a second time to please "shown us your 2" foam". He then brings us out a piece of 1" foam and says "this is what you want to end up with." Strike three, failure to repeatedly listen to your customers. We asked him directly if there was a problem and why he didn't show us a single thing we specifically asked for. He thanked us for coming in to "his store" and we took the hint and left, thoroughly disgusted. We will NEVER recommend anyone to patronize this place. Arrogance and ignorance are great ways to lose customers and gain reviews like this.

I happened to be over in Ponte Vedra the other day and swung into PV Arts & Crafts as I heard that…read morethey had a section of needlepoint designs and supplies. I've slowly come back into doing cross-stitch and it's been tough to find a local store with supplies, designs, and hand-dyed floss and fabric. There were a few kits at Reddi-Arts prior to their closure, but I haven't found much that isn't, at least, an hour drive away now. While the cross-stitch/embroidery section was a bit smaller than I hoped, I was excited to find some great Satsuma Street designs, some hand-dyed thread, and some different fabrics that were available. I definitely could come by with a floss color key and gather all I need for any project. I didn't get a chance to fully explore the books or even get into where the majority of PV Arts & Crafts fabric is held, but I'm looking forward to my next trip to delve in even more. As I was on my lunch, I didn't have too much time to poke around further into the store, so I'll have to make a return trip when I don't have a time restriction. This is a spot that is much bigger on the inside than it appears from the outside, and everyone would benefit for having some time to explore.

Amazing selection for every art medium! The owners were super sweet and the store if a lot of fun…read moreto explore in.
