The only downside to the whole event was that there were not really a lot of fine brushes, however that maybe because I didn't know where to look I was trying to supervise my daughter while also painting something, but we finished within the two hour time limit and we're really excited about our pieces and they were able to help me put handprint on it from kiddo. And I would say that I did not expect that it would be $64 to paint and fire the two animals that we selected. Prices are clearly marked and I just missed the pricing on these but overall it was a good time. I absolutely know that we'll be coming back for a date night and or another kid event because we had a great time.

I've slowly come back into doing cross-stitch and it's been tough to find a local store with supplies, designs, and hand-dyed floss and fabric. There were a few kits at Reddi-Arts prior to their closure, but I haven't found much that isn't, at least, an hour drive away now. While the cross-stitch/embroidery section was a bit smaller than I hoped, I was excited to find some great Satsuma Street designs, some hand-dyed thread, and some different fabrics that were available. I definitely could come by with a floss color key and gather all I need for any project. I didn't get a chance to fully explore the books or even get into where the majority of PV Arts & Crafts fabric is held, but I'm looking forward to my next trip to delve in even more. As I was on my lunch, I didn't have too much time to poke around further into the store, so I'll have to make a return trip when I don't have a time restriction. This is a spot that is much bigger on the inside than it appears from the outside, and everyone would benefit for having some time to explore.

You also left all paint items at your table in a basket so they could clean them between uses. There is a good amount of items to make a selection from and there are rotating seasonal items. The prices are pretty fair considering there are no sitting fees. The cost of the item includes the sitting time, the paint, and the firing. The staff is very helpful and we have enjoyed our visits to Arts Ignited.

We choose to leave them there to come back this Saturday afternoon to finish them. When we came back around 6pm it was really busy so her and I waited until we were spoken to and then communicated to an employee we were told we could leave our pieces here- and were told they weren't supposed to do that and that they couldn't find the 2 pieces. We were both already sat and wanting to do the work so we were discussing if we wanted a refund or to start fresh on new pieces. We spent around 10 minutes talking about this and not once were approached, after around 5 minutes of waiting to be attended to the other worker in the store that was handling the party- asked what was going on and offered to look for the pottery again. She looked again and was able to find it- at this point it had already been 20 minutes, so she gave us the pieces and we were just sitting there. We proceeded to sit there and wait for her or the other worker to approach us about paint (since you cannot go get your own paint here by policy), and were not approached for another 15 minutes. At this point, even with how excited her and I both were to come back to paint.. with the experience of our pieces being lost- then found, and then being made to wait on top of that was kinda experience ruining and my girlfriend wanted to leave. Both workers were quite nice, especially the one handling the party just wish there was more workers scheduled for weekends that are so packed- felt kinda forgotten.

The furniture is fabulous! They have a great selection of paints, stencils, handles, knobs and pulls and more for furniture makeovers. They also have plenty of art throughout the shop. Resin art and mixed media were plentiful and they teach classes on various mediums. My friend wants lessons on resin art. I picked up a whimsical pull for a piece of furniture at home- the knob had broken off a few months ago, so I was so happy to replace it with something fun and my style. Tiff grabbed a couple of Christmas gifts and a schedule for classes. On the furniture side, I was very interested in a couple of pieces, but there weren't price tags and I wondered if they were more for those doing classes or if they were sold outright. Definitely a neat store to check out!
