I recently attended a crafts class at Salt and Light Collective with my co-worker. I love how…read moreinviting and clean S&L is as well as how friendly the owner Marissa is. We took the D.I.Y. Wall Hoop Craft class which was taught by Maddie. Maddie walked us through how to make the wall decor, as well as shared tips and tricks with preserving flowers. We took turns, cutting the supplies and picking out the dried flowers for the arrangement. Salt and Light provided light snacks and drinks which was a nice gesture. The class took about an hour and the wall decor turned out lovely. I look forward to attending my next art/craft class at Salt and Light Collective.

Yes, Hobby Lobby had the cow blanket sets in stock and in different sizes. They also had sheet sets and throws! But they're polyester too unfortunately so I had to pass. BUT bedding was half-off when I visited. Yay! Today was a win, found what I needed and snagged it up at a discount :) And customer service was impeccable as always!

And I enjoy the plastic model aisle as a reminder of fond boyhood hobbies. The workers are always very helpful if checkout seems a bit slow. The design of the store could stand to be redone, except that it probably helps keep the prices down. My one gripe here is that the Muzak Liberace arrangements of hymns feel heavy ha srsly churchy. I get it's a Christian business but how about some upbeat modern music to bring some cheer to the place?

I browsed the store a bit looking for a certain brand of candle they carry and is sort of hard to find. While walking through the store, and glancing from here to there - I noticed the signature Hallmark cards were located in the back. In the front of store though was a lot of seasonal decor to the left, as well as the next anticipated holiday gifts/goodies to the right.
