My Brother PE535 needed some much needed service. I was fortunate to go to there previous location and was informed they would be moving. The new location is perfect you feel like I've found my sewing and embroidery community. The staff is amazing and knowledgeable I explained the bird nesting issues, and how I've definitely stitch over 20,000 stitches past needed service. I was informed by stitches with felt fabric and using can air I was pushing all that debris inside the machine impacting it he lubricant. I'm grateful to know my machine is in great hands. Brought my sewing machine to get serviced, due to the timing hook being off. I was told to leave my machine and they would give me a call. The older women at the front was anything but nice. A few weeks passed by and nothing. I decided to give them a call and was told my machine was ready for pick up..okay. Once there I was charged $80 and wasn't given an explanation as to what was wrong with my machine. I payed and left. Once I got home I noticed nothing had really changed. Didn't really care to get my money back, figuring that they might really need the money and my god is good, even when people are dishonest. I would HIGHLY recommend NOT to bring your machine to be serviced here! Learn from my experience and mistake.. There are other shops who's technician will happily diagnose your machine in front of you. To verify what you suspect was wrong or educate you on what is truly going on with your machine. read more

I have been dealing with Suddenly Sewing for about 8 years now. The reason? The customer service at Suddenly Sewing is superb. All of the pretty fabrics and clever patterns you may find at any sewing store are useless if you can't create the projects that are shown in the store. The owners and staff at SS go over and above what you would expect for normal customer service. Recently, I needed help navigating a problem with the sewing software used to create embroidery. Time was of the essence as this was for a funeral/burial of one of my customer's family members. Michael and Cathy solved my problem, sharing their time late on Saturday night, and early Sunday morning, taking away from their personal time to insure that my needs were met. I have been shopping with Suddenly sewing for over two years. Shopping both Sewing machines to fabric. I have bought both of my Epic 3 embroidery machine and my 95Q sewing machine from them. The owners are the greatest. And the customer service is top notch. Everyone is very nice. They service my machines and to top the whole thing off they have Monday Madness every Monday Night at 7PM on Facebook. I love buying sale fabric at $7.00 a yard. The fabric selection is wonderful. The classes are always wonderful and planned out, we learn sew much. read more

This is a new location for Suddenly Sewing that gives them some great space to work in. This was our first time visiting and we found a number of unique fabrics that met what we were looking for. The fabric collection is not expansive, but what they have in stock is well thought out and works well together. There are a number of projects up on the wall to get your interest going, and you can find many of the supplies needed for them right there on the shelves. When we were there they had a kids sewing class in session and the kids were all very engaged in their sewing projects. It is great to see stores teaching these skills to youth. read more

I have always loved Suddenly Sewing, in their old location, and their new location. We moved out of state for awhile, and really missed this business. Went by today to get backing fabric for a quilt and neither Chris nor Mike were available; not sure who the person was behind the counter but she wasn't trying to be helpful at all! I feel so disappointed because this has never been my experience with this business. I really needed help picking a backing fabric, but she wouldn't even leave the counter area, just stood there, offered no assistance. I will be back, because I just love business, but this staff person could really use some customer service training. Unfortunately, I'll be looking for another fabric shop to find my backing fabric. read more

Love the service and friendly staff. I live in 550 miles south of Ft. Worth in an area where all the quilt shops have closed. I found Suddenly Sewing on Facebook and have been in love ever since. They have Facebook live sales every Monday night that has some fantastic finds, in fact my fabric stash has taken over my room, in a good way. I have not been disappointed in anything I have gotten from them. They also are offering Zoom classes on various techniques. I cannot recommend them any higher. They have a lovely selection of fabric and other goods, but we were very disappointed in the class my daughter took. Communication was very poor (non-existent) about schedule, what to bring, etc. We had been told twice they would get to choose their own fabric for the class, and instead they did not, and we were not even told of the change at the drop-off. It's unfortunate to pay $35 for a class when she won't use the end project because she doesn't like the fabric. We paid for 4 hours of instruction (12-5) and instead the kids were done at 4, and parents were called to come rush pickup early. It's unfortunate they could not think of any other teaching for that last hour (that we paid for). We wont' be doing any further classes here. read more

I took the Crash Course to Sewing and it was held at the shop. Super cute shop that has a lot of goodies. Sewing machines, thread, needles and fabric. The course helped me out a lot. Michael was a great teacher. I learned so much. Everyone is getting a table runner for Christmas this year. read more

This is the friendliest service we've ever had!!! I brought in two machine on Christmas Eve and they were ready 4 days later. A cleaning is only $89, and I've paid $110 other places (and have had to wait two weeks). Albert was extremely friendly and welcoming. I did not take a class, just received repair services so I cannot comment on the classes other than they have a huge schedule full of fun looking stuff! read more
