    Extremely dirty sinks

    I drove out of my way to this location to pick up an item after work.... Must to my dismay...This restroom has not seen a deep cleaning in what appears to be months. The toilet paper was completely out in the ADA STALL. I have included the cleaning schedule photo that indicates no cleaning was done on Friday after 3 pm (the day I visited). With the pandemic being over I guess the necessity for sanitary hygiene is no longer a priority for Michael's Arts and Crafts. Now that Joann's Fabric store's closing I do my best to shop at brick and mortar stores to avoid online shopping but I gotta say that I am glad I waited the 50 minutes to get home than to try to use this facility. Some Highway service stations are cleaner than this one. I did not mention the condition of the restroom to the manager because let's be honest...if they work any shift they know the condition. They SEE IT, THEY USE IT, they ACCEPT IT. I did send these same photos to their corporate offices and NO ONE responded. I guess I am now an online shopper.

    This store is located in the Falcon Ridge shopping center off the 15 freeway, next to Stater Bros and Dollar Tree. Plenty of parking, store was clean and well stocked. I've been coming to this store for years and most of the time, I find what I'm looking for. They do have 4 self-checkout stations and about 2 regular registers if I remember correctly. One thing customers in store at the time didn't seem happy about, was that there was no employee around to help those who had problems with the self-checkout or to help them at a regular register.

    Men's bathroom stall

    The men's bathroom is trashed and in disrepair. Why can't the manager or owners at least maintain a clean and repaired facilities. You charge enough of the items in the store.

    When the Michaels website states that a particular product is available in a specific location, I've unfortunately learned to take it with a grain of salt. I understand how that works; the website stats may not be properly updated to reflect the current inventory of the stores. But repeatedly encountering this issue gets frustrating; while I understand inventory errors or a lack of updates are out of the hands of the employees, customer service is not. Today I wanted to purchase a specific binder that's on sale, so I drove out. The website conveniently provides the aisle number, but I found said aisle nearly empty. I also understand that; this is the time of year that notebooks, journals, and planners have been flying off the shelves. And unfortunately, I wasn't able to find the binder. I took a quick look at the surrounding aisles in case it was placed on an endcap or some clearance section, but no luck. So I asked an employee if she could help me, pulling up the item on my phone to show her. She groaned and asked if it was a clearance item. When I said yes, she curtly stated that if it's not in the aisle, it's not in stock. No apology, no suggestion on how else I might find the item or something similar, just that it's not in stock. Again, this is not the first time I've found myself in this situation, and not the first time I've been shrugged off when unable to locate the item I'm interested in purchasing. I understand we're all going through a rough time, but a simple apology would have been nice, or some kind of alternate suggestion such as checking other locations for me. I obviously returned home without it, and checked for it on the website once again. It seems it's still "in stock and ready to ship," so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the order I've placed gets processed.
