I used Michaela's for BB and myself for several months towrad the latter half of 2024. They always had a great selection to choose from every week, always delivered with care in an insulated bag with icepacks, also using text notifications with photos to let you know the food had been delivered. Getting food delivered with the last company we used was a nightmare. Not so with Michaela's! The food was fresh, made with care, and tasted good. Customer service is locally based, efficient, friendly, and always responded in a timely manner. At one time we were doing 20 meals a week, and only experienced a mix up once which they were quick to address. I like that they are a local small mom and pops business and a passion project which the owner takes seriously. I've tried a couple of San Diego based meal prep companies and Michaela's is the only one that I stuck with long term. Would recommend you try them out if you are looking for meal prep. read more

I am obsessed. I have been eating Michaela's Meals for several months and I am constantly surprised by the flavor, taste, variety and quality. I've never experienced a meal prep service quick like this! There dishes taste better than majority of restaurants. Everything must be made from scratch because the quality is so impressive. You would think it came fresh out of your own kitchen, that's how good it is even after being refrigerated. I constantly question the macros and nutritional info because being this healthy has never tasted so good. On top of that, the meals are filling! I've been ordering Michaela's Meals for about 6 weeks now and it's the best decision I've made to be healthy, meal portions and meal prepping . Honestly ordering meals have saved so much food waste. The meals is are good portions, if your dieting, it's even enough for two people along with a side salad. My mom and I like not having to cook during a busy work week . The food is always promptly delivered in a contactless manner and notification is sent by a very friendly text message from someone who actually responds. The food is a good portion and always healthy. The veggies are, for the most part, perfectly done... I hate carrots, but I eat Michaela's carrots... So that says something, right there! Everything is consistently delicious and delivery is timely. Any issues you may have are promptly resolved by a quick email which actually receives a personal reply (by a human!!!). Nicely done! They update the menu with a few different items each week. If I had one "would be nice", it would be to keep various different foods in rotation. Sometimes the menu can feel a little static if you're not into the one or two new items that get added. This is my 3rd week and I absolutely love the service. I'm a single mom in the military and so low on time and energy to make meals every day so this place is a godsend for me. They also deliver and offer curbside pickup Wednesdays and Sundays. On my duty days they were more than willing to let me pick up after I got off. Every staff member I have spoken to are so accommodating and excellent. I tried once and have been hooked ever since. They offer meals for different diet types and the prices are so reasonable. We have ordered many of these meals in the past couple of months, and are extremely satisfied. The food is so much fresher and healthier than other meal services we've tried. They are so good that we are cooking and eating out less, and feel that we are eating better. We are also pleased with the minimal environmental impact. There is only one recyclable container with each meal, and the insulated bag and ice packs can be placed outside for pickup when the next meals are delivered.
