I was getting a lot of text so I was busy and normally would have walked away with that type of behavior. When he finally came over I asked him if he was open or what and he said 'yeah' and I said "well I've been standing here a while so I wasn't sure." he had no comment like oh sorry I didn't see you there or anything I know he saw me there he just ignored me. I'm pretty sure I was the first customer and I ordered the falafel which they were out of. wow. So I settled on the chicken kabob which was supposed to be a plate and it looked more like a side salad for $12. There was nothing special about this kabob and they were telling me it was some sort of authentic recipe authentic or not it was unmemorable. The more and more I try food trucks the more and more I am disappointed. They're just overpriced and not worth it and this is one of them.

I say authentic because the spice mix actually comes all the way from Turkey. The Döner kebab was all about those Turkish flavors. They aggressive in a very good way and packed a touch of heat as well. The heat was subtle but definitely was felt on the palate. As a result, the lamb and beef were very flavorful. The Döner kebab also came with a familiar yogurt sauce or a Tzatziki which not only tasted great but also complimented the Turkish spices and added as a gentle cooling affect. Although the beef and lamb tasted good, I did feel they both could of been a little more tender. The Döner kebab also came with fresh lettuce and red onions. They served it on a toasted flat bread that had great flavor and texture. The gent who runs the Local Kebab is very friendly and passionate about his trade and for good reason too. You can find the Local Kebab at a variety of local breweries so I suggest you check out the L. Kebab's website.

They have quite the diverse selection- featuring 20 virtual restaurant brands! Among them is Theo's Smash Burgers! We ordered a few of their original bacon smash burgers 9/10. And (2) orders of their tater tots 10/10. The tots were shatteringly crispy on the outside with a soft, fluffy interior. Packed with flavor! The burger was well seasoned with an intensely caramelized, dark brown crust- chef's kiss! Prices were reasonable. The vibe was laid back. They have an outdoor patio for people to dine in and enjoy their food. I didn't really know what to expect from a "ghost kitchen". Surprisingly, I was impressed! The concept is made simple and easy! You order at the kiosk, then pick up your food at the designated locker. Simple, easy, and efficient!

It is a ghost kitchen, sure, but this one did not just lose its soul. It pawned it for a QR code scanner and a stack of metal lockers. There are more cuisines under this roof than in all the lunchboxes at the United Nations, but somehow every option feels like it was cooked by the same bored algorithm. You order on the app, your food materializes in a locker like a sad teleportation experiment, and that is the end of the romance. No hello. No goodbye. No hey we forgot your sauce. Just cold efficient silence. And if something is missing utensils, hot sauce, half your order, your will to live you are out of luck. There is no counter. No bell. No human. You might as well try negotiating with the locker. The only living beings you will encounter are the swarms of Uber Eats and DoorDash drivers circling the place like a multinational street gang of exhausted mercenaries. They are all clutching their phones, pacing, waiting for their next mission like NPCs in a cyberpunk side quest. It is ghetto in a sci fi way, like Blade Runner if Blade Runner had worse lighting and more styrofoam containers. The whole experience unlocks a new previously undiscovered fear of progress. You walk in thinking you are getting pad thai and leave wondering if automation is slowly replacing not just jobs but joy. Come for the convenience. Stay because you are trapped in a feedback loop of QR codes and despair. Two stars for feeding me. Zero stars for making me feel like I was dining inside a vending machine run by Skynet.
