My Gal Pal is all smiles on our girls night out
    Susan C.

Our family eat at home majority of the time .We dine out occasionally and order door dash and pick up several times a week, mainly lunch . My friend invited us to a girls night out at Dreams Dinners . We prepped 3 meals at a steak deal of 35 for 3 family meals = $12 per meal serving 3 adults. That's $4 a serving !! This concept makes sense. I love to cook, it's very joyful to me . But coming up with new ideas is the challenging part. Dream dinners: 1. Offers you a menu to choose from 2. Does all the pre prep 3. A designs a recipe that takes a few minutes in the kitchen for the chef. 4. And does all the clean up. These steps all the the most tedious parts in cooking . Hallelujah. By the way, we cooked one of the meals I prepped tonight and it was a thumbs up!

I highly recommend coming here the ambience is fresh and clean, the service everybody was really kind and loving. Five stars ! We've also been having their food for maybe five years now. And we've tried other companies that have pre-prepared meals. Which was small quantities this place is generous. And if you sign up, sign into Yelp, you get a free side!

I felt so productive getting the week's cooking out of the way! I brought my 11- year old daughter (her first time), and she was a great helper. Once I showed her one dish, she quickly got the hang of it - that's how easy Dream Dinners is! And it cut my prep time in half! The staff was SOOO friendly and attentive, and they kept feeding us too! We got to sample scones (and there's Keurig coffee for customers too), turkey sausage omelets, and green beans. We've eaten about half the meals so far, and it's been a hit with everyone in the family, even the picky ones. A couple tips: - Booking online is easy. Plus Website has nutritional info, cooking info, etc. - Ladies, bring a hair tie to keep your hair out of your face (though I think they will supply them too) - Don't forget to bring your cooler to transport everything! - Buy extra sweets and sides on the spot. Check out the freezers on the right. - Sign up for their rewards program. I got a free $10 credit just for signing up, which got me two extra sides! They even reward you for reviewing dishes!

They have all the seasonings, meat or fish frozen and, condiments etc. They give you an apron and card that has your meals printed on it. It tells you the measurements for each item. It will say 1 cup of flour as an example. There will be measuring cups and a container with the flour. There will also be a baggie for you to add your flour to. They have around 5 stations with different meals and you just go to the meal stations that you had chosen. When Covid hit, they had to stop people from coming in to make their meals. I tried another company that delivered to my door. It was fine for a long time but then I got tired of the selection and the meals always took me a long time to prepare. Two weeks ago I came back to Dream Dinners again. Right now you can order the meals and they will assemble them for you and you pick them it, this works really well. There are new owners and they are planning to open it up again for people to come in and assemble their meals. It's fun when you come with a friend, or friends to do it together. You will still be able to have them assemble the meals for a charge. The meals are great, I think they average around $8.00 a meal which will feed 2-3 people, it's a deal. Try them out, they have a website where you can order your meals, and pay when you order or pay some and rest when you pick it up.

I arrived with a drawer with my name that had an apron and the meal/recipes I selected already, which you would do online (or in person at the store). I made an appointment to assemble my meals. Only one other customer was packing meals so I had no wait time at all at the various stations. I was shown how to pocket zip lock bags, fill them with pre-measured instruments of sauces, condiments, etc., following the instructions at each station, based on meals you selected on line. It was easy and kind of fun. It probably took me 45 minutes as a newbie. After I finished a zip lock bag meal, I put it in the refrigerator which also has your name for your reserved space while you are preparing the meals. They put them in my cooler and brought them to my car along with instructions. I froze 4 meals and placed 2 in my refrigerator to defrost for the week. I just baked and follow minimal instructions and the food ranges from delicious to good. My favorite was the mango glazed salmon and the pork chops w/potatoes. Then I thought the turkey meat loaves w/green beans followed by the sirloin tortellini were the next good ones. The pollo con arroz and the chicken tamale was the least favorite. Everything was fine. Some meals have "sides" while others just have the main dish. I can see this being a convenient way to cook dinner 3x/week (subscription is 12 meals a month, whose price varies based on the menu selected). I haven't decided yet whether I will continue because I actually like to shop and spend time cooking. You can cater to your own taste (i.e. put more of a spice or less) and great for those who just had a baby or want to save time. My only issue is that I'm still hungry--3 servings for me and my husband. I guess I just have a big appetite! The protein is portion size, i.e., palm of your hand for salmon or chicken breast. Regardless, I think that every meal should come with a "side dish" so you don't have to supplement. I definitely think the "intro" deal is worth it, and my friends, who each got a free meal and the option to buy 3 more meals at a discount, had a great time.

I tried my first Dream Dinners meal back in 2009 and have been hooked ever since. What are my favorite meals from here? Firehouse Three Cheese Pasta with Meatballs would be my #1! Such a heavenly baked pasta/cheese/meatball combo, and you control the spiciness of this recipe (mild-three alarm!). Though I'm a scaredy-cat, so I stick to mild. Pub style chicken #2. Chicken breasts with bacon and melted cheese and to top it off, it's accompanied by a little ranch drizzle. Easy and quick to bake, I love it. And last but not least, #3, the Outlaw Chicken Sliders. Not only are they cute to plate, but soOoO remarkably tasty to eat. The bun resembles a mini ciabatta roll with white chicken breast patties, melted Swiss cheese and crispy French onions. Again, another dish that doesn't take long to make, about 20 minutes. Comes with a dynamite smokey chipotle sauce that I wish I had a whole jar or bottle of! A yummy menu for sure:) You can register for sessions to make meals by yourself, with family or friends. High five to this Dream Dinners to hosting a fun time for all!
