Last week, I decided to give Farm Fresh Meals a try as I'm always on the go, and I've been looking…read morefor a healthy meal alternative to going out to eat a lot. However I was very disappointed with these meals. First off, they have a form you fill out and it shows you all of the meals. Looking at the photos, I was excited to try the food. But before I even got to seeing my meals, the wrong meals were delivered to me. I had to call the support and they assured me that the driver would come back and swap them out, a bad start to my experience. Following that, when I finally got the food I was very disappointed. The food looks nothing like the photos, and not only that but it is extremely bland, but not only that, all of the lean protein I ordered was extremely dry, as once I reheated it it seemed like it was cooked too much. To give them the credit though, the pork wasn't dry, however that's not saying much given its easy to keep that from being dry. I've tried multiple competitors in regards to meal prep and this is the most expensive meal prep company I've ever tried, but it's considerably worse than the others in San Diego.

Plus, they're local and use local farmers. Premium meal delivery service that I found with the help of yelp's recommendations around this time…read morelast year. The meals are generously portioned, healthy, and delicious! There is no way I would be able to craft this quality together in a meal. The options are plentiful, nor overwhelming. Catering to vegans, vegetarians, paleo and meatarian - that don't mind splurging on a little of all worlds. The ingredients are all listed, simple and so delicious! Simple process of refrigerating then enjoying them within 5-days - easily done by cooking in the microwave - wa-lah - 10 minutes - enjoy! You can select from a small or large portion. Smalls are perfect for achieving just what my appetite desires, while my husband has the large portion which can feed up to 2 people - I call these "hearty" portions! The value cannot be beat either - compared to the time it would take, cost of ingredients from health food markets is no match! Look forward to continuing their service in 2025 and beyond! Happy Holidays~

Best of all, Ilona created the most beautiful catering table for the event and she truly took our "cutie" citrus theme to heart. I rarely do Yelp reviews anymore and this wasn't even requested, but Bits and Bites deserves the praise and more than 5 stars!

Her food is delicious, the portions are great, and she really takes the time to follow up and make sure she's meeting your specific needs. I've been able to customize certain meals to fit my digestive needs and she's always happy to make sure she's taking care of me. You can get your meals delivered in glass or plastic. I opted to for the glass containers, and it's so nice because she also carefully labels each one and then hand delivers them once a week. I have referred her to friends and clients. She is kind, professional, and uses high quality cookware and food. I highly recommend her to anyone who is wanting to get healthy but doesn't have the time to meal prep themselves. I am actually saving money by working with her because I'm no longer having to throw away fresh food that I didn't get the time to cook. Check her out, you won't regret it! I've been coming to Seaside Market for years, and I absolutely love this place. I recommend it to…read moreanyone looking for a great local market, and I'll definitely continue being a customer. That said, I've noticed a few things lately that have made it a little harder to shop here, especially as the store seems to be getting busier and busier. The biggest challenge has honestly been the crowds. It feels like the popularity of the market has really grown, which is great to see, but it can make the experience a little overwhelming. I also think it may be worth considering a larger location at some point. Parking can be incredibly difficult, especially if you have a larger vehicle, and getting in and out can sometimes be a challenge. I also recently had an unfortunate experience with a few items I purchased. The girl who helped me at the register was very kind and bagged the majority of my items, but a couple of smaller items were left outside of the bag. I was in a rush and completely forgot to grab them before I left, even though I had already paid for everything. I realized it later and called the store to explain what happened. They were kind enough to put my name on a bag and hold the items for me, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, when I came back later that week to pick them up, the items couldn't be found. It seemed like there was some miscommunication between the staff, which was really disappointing because I had specifically called ahead and was told they would be held for me. I completely understand that things can get misplaced, especially in a busy store, but it was frustrating knowing that I had already paid for the items and had made a trip back specifically to retrieve them. I also didn't have my receipt anymore because I had assumed everything had been placed in my bag, which I realize was ultimately my mistake. It's definitely something I won't let happen again. What was disappointing was that, even though the staff remembered me coming in previously, the items ultimately weren't replaced or resolved. I understand that mistakes happen, but I think this could have been handled a little better. Even with these issues, I still genuinely love Seaside Market and want to see it continue to do well. I know that growing crowds and increased popularity can create challenges, but I do think there are opportunities to improve the overall customer experience, especially when it comes to parking, managing the crowds, and communication between team members. The prices have definitely been climbing, and with the store becoming busier, it's getting a little harder to visit than it used to be. Still, there's a reason I've been coming here for years, and I'll continue to support the market. I just hope they're able to find ways to make the experience a little easier as the business continues to grow.
