After a family member was released from the hospital we wanted to give them something that would help them relax and allow them to have one less thing to worry about. We came across this business through Yelp and boy it doesn't disappoint. We ordered a couple beef stew and tortellini pasta meals, set a date to pick up and boom...they were ready and waiting for us. Everything comes packaged well to either cook right away or put into the freezer. Family member is in love with this place now as the food tasted so fresh and flavorful. I started Dream Dinners about 4-5 years ago. I went there with my friend and enjoyed making our dinners. It was so easy. They have all the seasonings, meat or fish frozen and, condiments etc. They give you an apron and card that has your meals printed on it. It tells you the measurements for each item. It will say 1 cup of flour as an example. There will be measuring cups and a container with the flour. There will also be a baggie for you to add your flour to. They have around 5 stations with different meals and you just go to the meal stations that you had chosen. When Covid hit, they had to stop people from coming in to make their meals. I tried another company that delivered to my door. It was fine for a long time but then I got tired of the selection and the meals always took me a long time to prepare. Two weeks ago I came back to Dream Dinners again. Right now you can order the meals and they will assemble them for you and you pick them it, this works really well. There are new owners and they are planning to open it up again for people to come in and assemble their meals. It's fun when you come with a friend, or friends to do it together. You will still be able to have them assemble the meals for a charge. The meals are great, I think they average around $8.00 a meal which will feed 2-3 people, it's a deal. I purchased the Easter brunch package for my family this year. It was by far one of the best brunches I have ever had! My family loved it and couldn't get enough of the food. Dreamy? No. Nightmarish? Maybe. You decide. I was highest bidder on a meal prep service for 12 at a charity auction event. I called and left a message on 9/17. No call back. 10/20 - Called and left another message. Stated I called 9/17, and nobody called back. Explained what I had and I would like a return phone call to learn more. A manager returned the call the next day, but I was going in to a meeting. She answered some questions, and I explained the timing was bad. I asked if she could send me an email with a link to their website - she agreed. No email. No other phone call. I would consider this a colossal waste of money, had it not been for the charity. Will update review if something changes. UPDATE 10/30: It's been 10 days since the last call & today I received a phone call from the owner. Yes, I did share the experience. I'm unsure if I want to use the certificate - because it seems like a sales pitch to 11 of my friends, not a normal evening out. I don't mind sharing and recommending a good biz to 11 friends, but I'm inviting them all to something I've not yet tried, but have had a less then stellar experience. Hmmmm I explained I will probably donate it to a group to use and I may join the group. Will let you know Yelpers, as it unfolds. 12/31: We have now prepped our meals, froze them and ate them for dinner. They were quick to assemble and tasted very good. The store hours are a little challenging on my schedule, but manageable. I made an appointment for January to do it again. I anticipate to use this service regularly. read more

I don't know how I stumbled onto Dream Dinners but I'm so happy I did. All I know is that I needed new easy recipes because I was feeling like my usual meal planning was starting to get too old, too tried and true. I tried Dream Dinners special introductory offer and my family and I were hooked. Using Dream Dinners has made meal planning both easy and delicious. Working full time and teaching my elementary school aged kids during this pandemic has added additional responsibilities and stress but I don't need to to worry about extra grocery shopping or even measuring ingredients. This place and concept are both amazing. First, you visit their website and pick out the meals you want and the serving sizes. I was able to take advantage of their introductory offer, which is 18 servings for about $75.00. Pick your meals, pick the time you want to visit their location, and pay. It's that easy. And actually fairly well priced....you figure you're paying about $4.00 a serving with this offer...much cheaper than eating out. The day of, you arrive at your scheduled time. Though this location is small, they use their space very well. There are freezers in the front to keep your food, and the food itself is set up like a buffet with different stations you visit based on your online selections. Dream Dinners provides everything you need, and you just go through the station and prepare the recipe. Once done, you have the option of purchasing additional premade meals, sides, and desserts, or signing up for the next months menu (we didn't do any of these on our visit). The staff said some people will bring a bottle of wine and make it a date night. Sounded pretty cute. The staff was extremely friendly, and very helpful and attentive. We noticed one of the sides we needed was missing a measuring cup, and almost immediately an employee saw our confusion and came to the rescue. I felt like this location is full of genuinely friendly people who want you to have a great experience. And did I mention the food is actually really good? I would consider it restaurant quality food, but I knew every ingredient that went into it! After checking out, you bring your prepared food home and store it in your freezer. When you want to eat it, you simply defrost it in the refrigerator (takes about a day), and follow the instructions provided on the recipe cards. Each meal takes about 20-30 minutes to cook at home, and requires minimal involvement. I can't wait to go back again next month! read more

There is this awesome place called dream dinners in Redlands, my mom and I go once a month and buy a dozen family dinners. We fallow their recipes and they have all the food their to make the dinners in their store. The food is good, healthy and low on calories we cook it at home whenever we are short on time or just stressed out... the staff are very helpful and they do all the clean up for you. With three kids and busy schedules, providing dinners that make everyone happy and don't come out of a fast food bag is a challenge for us, and Dream Dinners has taken care of that for us! You pick meals from a menu that changes monthly (with options like Outlaw Chicken Marinara or Ginger Glazed Salmon, how can you say no?) and they provide you with all of the ingredients, color coded measuring utensils that completely break down the whole assembling process to the easiest way possible, and a step by step instructional map on what top do. It only takes about an hour to assemble, and at the end you're left with amazing meals for your whole family. The staff is so friendly and funny, and completely into their jobs. Dream Dinners, tucked away in a small shopping plaza is great from the second you pull up in your car - Yay, for a change there's ample parking. We were there for a special Open House event (held monthly) and were able to prepare 3 meals for a mere $25.00. This is such a great business concept. As Stephanie (the owner) told us, "Dream Dinners does the shopping and chopping so we don't have to!" Helen S, in her review of 4/19 described the process very well. Basically, they provide all the ingredients for all their meals and that includes all the spices and sauces. You simply package up the ingredients for your meals into zip-lock bags and then throw them into your freezer until you're ready to use them. My wife and I chose to prepare 2 dinners of Chicken Marsala and 1 dinner of Coconut Shrimp. All of the ingredients were of top quality, fully cleaned, cut and were amazingly fresh. We prep'd those packages 2 weeks ago and finally got to pull them out of the freezer tonight. The meals were simply fantastic. The taste and freshness were superb! Following the recommended plating, the meals looked as good as they tasted. I just have to add this is a perfect solution for those individuals with horribly busy schedules or for disabled shut-ins who are unable to fully take on the role of preparing full meals. If your loved ones fit into either category, consider getting them a gift card. I totally recommend this dining alternative experience. One last thing - the staff - The folks at Dream Dinners are completely service oriented - they guide you from start to finish so you can't make any mistake and they do it with cheers and smiles, making our overall time there a really pleasant one. I LOVE this company and the people who work there! My husband and I tried the introductory offer on their website and I became hooked after that. The food is excellent! We just went back last Saturday and made the full 36 servings and it took us less than an hour. I love knowing that we have food in our freezer ready to go and I don't have to worry about what I am going to make for the week. Every evening we put a bag in the fridge to defrost for the next day. We never look at the bag and make it a little surprise every evening. The instructions are really easy and take less than 30 minutes to make. The only draw-back is that most of the meals don't come with a side. We usually pair it up with a salad or some veggies. This last time I did use some of the plate points to get some sides to make a complete meal. I LOVE the plate points. My husband and I do the 3 servings and usually end up with 12 meals. To make it last a whole month we do 3 dream dinners a week and 2 dinners I make on my own. I can't express how happy I am with this service. I will never do business with this company again! They never answer their phone. They planned an event with me, the owner made an exception to one of their rules for me to plan it, then went back on her commitment. For over a month I had 17 ladies signed up for this event then Dream Dinners canceled with 3 days notice! I left 13 messages during the 2 weeks prior to the event, told them EXACTLY when they could reach me but wouldn't return my calls. When they finally returned my call, they did it during a time I can't talk on the phone because of work. They were rude and unprofessional. They basically told me they didn't need my business and didn't need the new 17 people I was bringing to them. I recently went with friends to Dream Dinners and had a great time. You assemble meals that are already planned out ahead, put them in the containers, label with cooking instructions and you are done. My friends and I put together a month's worth of dinners and my family loved the food. It was a lot of fun and gave us something new to enjoy (instead of the same old recipes.)
