Food was delicious! Delivered before they estimated it would be delivered and they were super friendly!

my favorite pizza spot! When I am in the pizza mood I come here! Steak and cheese sub is really good too!

1st time here. Pizza is NY style - absolutely delicious !!! Service was fast & friendly. Will definitely be returning.

Service is so horrible have teenagers working staying on their phones , hair not in hairnets seeing blonde hair all over the counter , can't get order right forgetting items and when reminded acted like you never ordered it and on top of that it was the worker who took my order in a empty restaurant , $8 for a lettuce only and 4 small tomatoes for a salad you could get at Walmart for $2 for a extra $10 you can get cheese and croutons and bacon bits added. Food and crumbs all over the floor can guarantee they have been there for at least a week since nobody eats inside anymore. And a roach just ran past me as I was typing this so that's just the cherry on top read more

I'm honestly surprised by some of the other reviews, because my experience here was fantastic! From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted, and the place was clean. We ordered 2 slices one pepperoni and one supreme, they came out hot and fresh and it was delicious. (They were also huge!) For the quality and the size of the slice, the price was more than fair as well... They also offer delivery, which is a huge plus and I'd definitely recommend supporting this spot over the big chain pizzerias. If you're in the area craving some good pizza, come try this place!! read more

Some of the best pizza in the area, Swansboro, cape carteret, emerald isle Atlantic Beach, Always a good to when in town,

Ordered 2 slices plain cheese. Pizza hadn't any flavor. Crust was raw on bottom. Prices didn't match the quality of food. Should have gone to Pizza Forno down the street for a personal pizza about the same price. Last time for this place. read more

Food was sub par, pizza under cooked, cheese steak flavor was bland. My second attempt in six years and I know why. I like my cheese pizza to melt all the way and a little more crunch to my crust Service was ok Ambiance was ok read more

Michaelangelo's Pizza - My guess is as good as yours Steak and cheese sandwich? Lacking a whole lot of Philly - Pizza Near Me - Swansboro, North Carolina

So disappointed. Will never order from there again. Food wasn't good, order was wrong and customer service left a lot to be desired

Best pizza in Swansboro, friendly staff closest to New York style you can get would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good pie!!

Pizza good but service terrible! Need to train their cashiers better I would not go back because it took 20 mins to get 3 slices of pizza heated up read more

Used to be good, but now the pizza is made with a sauces so thin that it's hard to tell if there is sauce on the pizza. Does need more sauce, just sauce that has enough tomato base and spice. Bye, so disappointing. read more

Yum! Good for memories of eating jumbo slice pizza after wild nights out. Long love the jumbo slice!

Best pizza in the area. The closest thing you will get to NYC style pizza. So glad they deliver as well. The steak and cheese sun is amazing and the calzone is really great also. read more

Just a great little spot to get some good pizza and great subs. Great people great place don't miss out. Have a good day.

We did a take out order, The pizza was super greasy! Like grease pouring off the slices!

I called in and placed an order. I ordered two different pizzas and when I arrived I was given one pizza. I asked the worker why I only got one and she rudely replied that "that was on your ticket." While it wasn't what I ordered, the attitude from a middle aged woman working at a pizza place was uncalled for. An apology would've been okay and I wouldn't have left a review if she wasn't so rude! read more

The service was horrible. The girl at the register tried to be polite but the arrogant ?cook wearing the fedora was obnoxious. Oh did i mention he had rubber bands on his wrist and i found one in my pizza, at first I thought it was an onion but nope it was a rubber-band; see picture! I also tried to place an order for garlic knots the girl said six or 12 and Mr. Obnoxious said oh we are all out as the other Cook put an entire tray in the oven but hey what do I know Save yourself the time and probably food poisoning and just pick up a frozen pizza from Food Lion read more

Michaelangelo's Pizza - a slice of pizza - Pizza Near Me - Swansboro, North Carolina

Overpriced, bland, did I say overpriced??? 10.45 for 10 wings. What??? Our pizza was actually folded over to fit in the box. No masks were used in the store during the preparation of hand tossed pizza. Gloves either for that matter. read more

Worst Food Ever! Have been having a lot of problems with this place. Either the order is wrong, your pizza is curled in the box because they made it too big and the service, horrible! Tonight, I got sent up there to get a calzone and it was horrible! They had only put five pepperoni and five green peppers in the calzone. There was so much ricotta cheese in the calzone to use in three calzones. He also got a salad, nothing but a joke! Tonight, I didn't bother calling them because every time you do, you get a smart remark and it's ran by young kids who don't care about quality or about how they make your food. This place is a joke and way over priced! Also, the slices that were in the case in the front, looked as if they've been sitting all day. Really gross! This place needs better management and people who take pride in what they do and not slackers working! read more

I'm from New York and I'll say this is the closest thing to new york style pizza. The Pizza held up on its own and didn't bend when I picked it up. The customer service was great. Also all you can eat pizza for like $12 a person. You Can't beat that. read more

I love eating here when it's dine in but this is the second time I've ordered online for delivery and been disappointed. After my initial order at 6:31, I followed up with a phone call at 724 inquiring about my order. After speaking with a cashier that didn't know if they were doing deliveries or not, then she told me it was on the way then again that it wasn't even cooking yet because their driver was not back from a prior delivery. I gladly said okay and gave it another 30 minutes. Then called back to inquire as the status and was told that it was cooked and waiting in the driver but that the 40 minute wait time initially stated on their website should have never been on there for me to see and they shouldn't be showing times to anyone. Here I am 90 minutes after ordering, going to pick up my own food while the manager Aj says, "that's normal time." Pretty sad if you ask me! read more

Michaelangelo's Pizza - Sad I tell you sad. - Pizza Near Me - Swansboro, North Carolina

The service at this location is subpar. The food was okay. My steak and cheese was good for steak'um meat and mozzarella cheese. I asked for Italian dressing and was disappointed to find that it was from a food service packet. A food service packet of dressing in an Italian restaurant? What! I noticed the staff handling food (lunch meat to be exact) wearing NO gloves. There is also only one high chair which does not have working straps. Disappointed all the way around read more

We Ordered Pizza and a cheese burger with French fries! 45 minute delivery! Our food was delivered in the allotted time! Sadly we got the wrong pizza and chicken wings! We called and the manager who kindly said we would be sent the correct order! A few minutes later a delivery person knocked on the door and asked for the wrong pizza and chicken wings back! He said it was store policy! Now we had opened and looked in side the pizza to see what pizza was delivered! I also opened the frosted top container looking for my cheese hamburger! Thus exposed! So where was this food going? To the person who ordered it? Was my food at someone else house? We did get our food at 9:36 which was ordered at 8:14! The food was cold and the delivery person who was very nice tasted the fries and agreed they were cold! He was very apologetic ,stating that there were several new staff! $47.00 of food in the trash! I am so sad as we order from the Swansboro Michael Angelos often! I am appalled that they would have taken food from our house and worry for delivery to someone else! I asked the delivery person and he said he did not know where the food was going! I work in health care and have had some food service connections! Especially in a Covid pandemic, this is unacceptable! We love the food but the service seriously lacking! read more

Called to place an order. The lady that answered the phone was extremely friendly but all of our requests were denied. Even our simple request to add black olives on a slice of already made pepperoni pizza. Could hear a male in the background being extremely rude saying "I'm not doing any requests. it's either what we have or nothing." Management definitely needs to look into there employees. We ended up calling the Cape Carteret location where they had 0 issues adding olives to our pizza. Will not be contacting this poorly managed location again. read more

I placed a pick up order. The Pizza was great! Pasta was okay but not my favorite. The staff was all nice.

The pizza isn't terrible, we normally just get cheese. Today we decided to get the chicken parm dinner and the baked ziti dinner. They didn't put hardly any sauce on anything. It was all dry. Barely any chicken in the chicken parm with dry noodles. I won't be coming back. read more

First time caller there....... There were about 12 different types of pizza on display. I asked to make it hot, and the hostess asked if I wanted it hot...... or crunchy? CRUNCHY PLEASE! So many pizza places in NC make undercooked and soggy pizza - NOT HERE! The three employees were polite and offered us free refills. I would definitely go back again! read more

Great pizza! After practice or the beach just grab a slice and a beer, perfect day ender

Pizza is always hot and on time . You always know you're gonna get good pizza . Just be mindful of the grease . It can get a bit crazy from time to time . But it's the good kind so it's ok. LOL. read more

Fail....on every level. We ordered a small pizza with garlic knots and a cannoli. The order was 20 mins late and we were missing part of the order. Called them back and received the rest of the order an hour later. However upon returning the driver says, you had garlic knots. Yes we did but we didn't receive the cannoli. Oh....yeah that's what it is. WTF? Trying to branch away from chains and should have known better. At least with a chain they have corporate offices that will ensure their stores do the simplest of tasks. Oh well. Pizza Hut from now on. Upon my review I was contacted by the manager. He apologized for the mistakes and offered to comp a future order. Not only is this classy from a business but it is greatly appreciated. I've never had this happen before but the manager clearly cares about how his business is ran. read more

Food is good, large portions. Employees? Beyond rude. I'd by-pass delivery drivers and pick up. Business doesn't accept tips on credit cards, so if you do get delivery and have no cash prepare yourself for the attitude. Also, make sure to have a pen to sign your slip because the driver sure won't, and will ::sigh:: super loud to let you know what a mistake you made by not having it handy for him. UPDATED: They have also cut the portion sizes of the meat for subs and doubled up on the crappy water logged iceburg lettuce. I wish they'd bring the old manager back, this place has gone to crap. read more

We did take out from here for the first time and they screwed up the order, which we discovered once we got home. I called and the pizza I ordered was still there and they bothered to ask if I was going to bring the pizza they gave me back: "Are you really going to serve it to another customer?" Then they give my wife attitude when she goes back to get the salad she paid for and wasn't given and the correct pizza. Plus the pizza flopped over like a wet sock in your hand - much better once we threw it in the oven for a few minutes. read more

Employees were friendly. Loved all the pizza slices we ordered and the meatball sub was pretty good, especially the bread. Main reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because the meatballs tasted pre-packaged , not homemade, and the wait for pizza slices that just needed to be re-heated in the oven took forever. Good service, good food. Overall, I will come back. read more

A public restaurant should play music that appeals to a wide variety of people not whatever they were playing for us hip hop something to the pizza --- Well we pass by another Michaelangelo's to get to this one and we won't make that mistake again. What the heck happened here? It was dough slathered with sauce. And it was not good. Very disappointing. Will not be going back. Frozen would be a better choice read more

I have never encounterd a more rude crowd of managers ever . I will never eat here again. The food has gone down hill and while trying to tell the evening manager I was basically told to cook at home it I didnt like their food . read more

I've been ordering pizza from Michaelangelos for about a year (as long as I have lived here) and have appreciated their crust, their liberal use of toppings and their friendly service. I decided to post on yelp tonight because WE made a mistake and placed (and paid for) an online order for the wrong Michaelangelo's location. When I arrived to pick up the pizza and it wasn't there, they suggested I check the online order. As soon as we discovered it was at another location they told me not to worry "we will make what you ordered and you don't have to pay for it here." They let the other location know of the mistake, and sent me home with a perfectly made pizza. So grateful for their kind, understanding service. read more

Being a native New Yorker, I'd just about sworn off trying new pizza joints. Especially when visiting places like North Carolina that aren't necessarily known for pizza. However, we met some fellow campers and they had a hankering for a pizza pie. I'd already settled on whipping up tuna quinoa avocado bowls. But, we figured why not. As is usually the case when I eat out, we arrived completely famished. Two large (20") pies were in order to feed all the adults and children. We were pleasantly surprised. The pizza was quite tasty. A bit salty, but flavorful (minus the sodium overload). I believe it was the cheese or possibly the sauce they used that may have caused this. It did not appear to be added salt. Easily remedied. Hubby likes his crust a bit more well done as well. True pizza lovers know what I mean about that crisp bottom and dark/ almost black marks from a good bubbly pie. The staff were all very courteous and pleasant. I take off one star for the salty cheese and the fact that they didn't bring our huge pies to our table. They had us get up to retrieve it over the counter. No Bueno. Hey guys you got a 20% tip, what's up with the customer labor? Fix that and you'll get four or more stars from us. I will for sure return when in the area. We appreciate y'all letting us dine in when you were set to close in approximately 40 minutes. read more

Maddie, the young lady that took our order, was ABSOLUTELY rude and is every time I come into Michaelangelos. I love this establishment and their food! But their choice in employees is ridiculous! I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I simply asked if I could get my marinara sauce (THAT I PAID FOR) and she huffed and puffed and rolled her eyes and pretty much threw it into my hands. EVERY time I come in she is always snobby and disrespectful read more
