Every time I go here without fail they mess my order up some kinda way or the food is not as I expected/described. I most often get the chicken wings and they are very often over fried and the sauce said it was Hot but it was just kinda medium/mild. This is the best pizza in Havelock. The slices are the size of my head. I love the pepperoni is super salty and spicy. I really like it. I've also had the spinach white pizza which is great. I'm originally from NY and I have lived in the south for 6 years and this place was the very first place where we got a real calzone!! Good food but it is pricey. The restaurant has a cold atmosphere which isn't what you would expect from a NY pizza parlor.

Taco Pizza was perfect! Salads are super fresh! Garlic knots aren't the typical NY style but they were ok.

I called a day in advance to see if they could accommodate a group of just under 40 kids, and they did not disappoint! They were well staffed, the food was good, and the restaurant was spacious and clean. I will definitely bring my students here again next time we visit Havelock. read more

Big Apple was my favorite pizzeria when I passed through Havelock. Now that they have expanded their business I'm not so sure. The new dining room is really great looking and lots more room to accommodate more patrons. I ordered the lasagna but was very disappointed. I almost never complain about a bad dish but I had to tell the waitress what was bothering me. "The sauce was good but there was hardly any meat and there was way too much mozzarella and it was chewy and I couldn't swallow it." She was polite of course and promised to tell the chef. When I go again (I always give a restaurant a second chance) I'll order something else and see how it goes. read more

Waited over 2 hours (understandably not there fault I'll give them that) and I ordered the Stromboli and got a calzone like wtf how do you mess that up. It's like when I ordered a plain burger and got a chicken sandwich with cheese. They are two different things how do you mess that up. Stop being stupid and get the order right. Great food. Best wings I've had in years. The pizza is incredible and the entrees are good too. There is one thing that absolutely annoys me. We order to go because we have children, they'll say it'll be ready in 30 minutes or so. I've shown up there after 30 minutes and waiting for 40 minutes. Came here for the first time after we drove up for the MCAS Airshow. This place is super clean and the pizza is really good too. When we got here, place was fairly empty. When we left the line reached the door! If we ever come back up here, we will definitely stop in again. read more

Let me start by saying their food is alright. They have some of the best traditional style pizza around here (by that I mean it's not mass produced like at dominos or Pizza Hut). However, their service is really slow and almost all of them are very young and hardly experienced. There were 3 in our party plus a 2 yr. we bought by the slice. Slices were huge we walked out with 2 to-go boxes with pizza. They were crispy and yummy. Ordered a pizza and was told an hour to hour and 15 minutes for delivery...2 hours later I called to check and they said it was sitting there waiting to go out, should be here soon.
