    I can't say I'm happy writing this review, but I feel I need to. I had used BeastBay Plumbing once…read morebefore when we had a drain problem. They were responsive, the tech was friendly and informative. He fixed the problem and we signed up for their loyalty program. I knew our water heater was nearing the end of its lifespan and I called them to get a quote. Sydney came out and explained options. I ended up going for the tankless water heater. I also got quotes to replace a faucet in the kitchen and install a new shower fixture. The techs that showed up were courteous, but were a couple of hours later than the time I had expected. I anticipated the faucet and shower fixture jobs to go fairly quickly, but they took almost two hours. Then they started work on the water heater. What Sydney hadn't discussed was the need for direct power for the tankless system, or the need for a new vent. The tech wanted to open the ceiling up, but as it's a two-story house, and a tile roof, that was a hard no. They ended up doing a vent through the side of the house. At first they said it would be a two-day job, which was not mentioned when I booked the job, but after getting the side vent in, they said they'd finish that day. Here is where things go very very badly. The next day I went into the garage to move a car. I was overwhelmed with the smell of gas. I called BeastBay and phone center told me to call 911, which I did. In the meantime I opened the garage door. I realized after I hit the button, should anything spark, the whole place could go up. Thankfully, it didn't. The fire department came out, pinpointed that BeatBay had not tightened the gas connection to the tankless unit and turned it off. Then began a 2+ hour marathon of calls to BeastBay to get someone out immediately. Except they didn't. I had to call the office 4 times, and then had three different conversations with the office. In the meantime Sydney came back out to see what was up. I explained the severity of the gas leak and also told him I wasn't happy that he hadn't mentioned needing direct power, or the need to re-vent from the previous water heater. Sydney indicated there would be a small rebate and they would service the unit going forward free of charge. The tech showed up, apologized for not securing the gas line, tightened it up and left. This was a week and a half ago. I heard nothing more from BeastBay. I called the office Wednesday and asked they memorialize what Sydney had said during our meeting in writing. The woman who answered, Sarah?, said she'd have to check with Sydney, in a tone that said she didn't believe he had offered anything. She came back and said that was correct and she'd send it over as an email. Nothing was forthcoming. I've called the office twice today, two times no one answering, and the third time it going to a general voice mail. To say I'm disappointed in the service is an understatement. This is a massive failure on so many fronts.

    Quality Work, Knowledgeable, Friendly, but lacks Punctuality…read more I contacted Dino around April or May 2014 to replace a leaky water pressure reducing valve at my mom's house. Dino came by on a Thursday to evaluate the problem and provided an estimate. We scheduled to meet early the following morning as his first job, but Dino got caught up with other jobs that delayed the repair work until late in the afternoon. He completed the job in less than 2 hours and made upgrades to our dated faucet and emergency shut-off valve, which was included in the final cost. I was given a reasonable estimated amount and was told that it shouldn't cost much to repair and make replacements. We ended up paying 35-40% more than the original quoted price. We were okay with paying the final invoice price given the fact that I was unable to the job and the result of his work was better than expected. I'd recommend them to friends and family, but caution them on Dino's punctionality. UPDATE: Just recently (late June 2014), I called Dino to check on some water pressure issue that I was having at my house. He said that he would come by shortly to check on it for me and possibly make recommendations as to what's needed to resolve the problem, if any. Dino never came and must've forgot. I ended up not calling him back and MAYBE will try again some other time. It's probably best that I schedule an appointment with Dino and have him call me when he's actually at my front door waiting while I take advantage of my day to run errands.That's better than having to wait around for Dino's late show or no show.

He only needed one visit to assess the problems I was having with the sink, then explain simply getting new washers would not make my life any easier. I agreed. I wanted a new sink altogether, as washing dishes was hurting my back when leaning over. Dino explained that all I needed were my faucets to extend farther out. He was right. The new faucets are working great and my feels a lot better after just one day. Also, his price for the expertise was very much to my liking. I highly recommend Central Service Plumbing!

On top of that, the work was done very well. He and his crew were hardworking, professional, and left the area so clean it was like nothing had even happened. That really stood out to me, especially for a job this messy and involved. Enrique has been honest, reliable, and easy to work with from start to finish. I even heard good things about him from the city when I pulled the permit, which says a lot. I already have him on speed dial and have recommended him to neighbors in my HOA community. Ignore the negative reviews and at least get an estimate from him first. I'll definitely be using him again in the future!!!!!!!

    They were polite and kind but I actually wish they had never shown up in the first place…read more I had two faucets without hot water. I filed a claim with my home warranty which sent me Focus Rooter and Plumbing. I informed the two plumbers of my issue, told them that I already confirmed the issue to be with the piping, and let them go to work. They replaced various things in my faucets (which I told them wasn't the issue). They then, unsurprisingly, noticed that the issue wasn't fixed. I explained, again, that I think the issue is with the piping. If the issue is with the piping, they'd need to install completely new pipes. They don't have time for that, so they leave. Here's where the service was just truly so awful: - They report to my insurance that I don't have pipes at all and need net-new pipes. Home warranty of course doesn't want to pay for new bathroom piping that never existed, so now I'm on the phone with them for two hours. - In the end, I fixed the issue by following the piping, finding a somewhat stuck valve, and just turning it back. Fixing the actual issue was so simple that even me, a full amateur, was able to do it in about two hours. Instead, they arrived and then cost me multiple hours of frustrating phone calls with the insurance. You're probably thinking: Felix, didn't you just call them to explain that? Yes, yes, I did. They didn't pick up and never called back. I'd recommend someone else. Literally anyone.
