We were in a state of shock when a large franchise company quoted us $15,000.00 for a pipe that was supposedly leaking, the tech didn't have a hair out of place nor did he film anything that he saw in the crawlspace. I have figured out that organizations like these, prey on anyone that shows the slightest concern that they have a problem, prior to them arriving.

John of Humphrey plumbing was the only professional who responded that their rate might be accurate but there was no way of telling until someone took a look in our very tiny crawlspace. Space and video tape what he saw. It was dry as a bone down there with no evidence of any pipes being cracked. He charged us a reasonable fee for the video and then w/o any further fees, he counseled me on what toilet he felt would fill our needs in as far as the features I want.
