CALL FOCUS ROOTER AND PLUMBING! Enrique responded immediately and helped me with minor issues within hours of calling. His team was kind, professional, and courteous. He checked in several hours later. Great value for the service call. read more

Enrique at Focus Rooter and Plumbing did an excellent job replacing my sewer lateral. He gave me the best price in town by far, and honestly I could not believe how reasonable it was. On top of that, the work was done very well. He and his crew were hardworking, professional, and left the area so clean it was like nothing had even happened. That really stood out to me, especially for a job this messy and involved. Enrique has been honest, reliable, and easy to work with from start to finish. I even heard good things about him from the city when I pulled the permit, which says a lot. I already have him on speed dial and have recommended him to neighbors in my HOA community. Ignore the negative reviews and at least get an estimate from him first. I'll definitely be using him again in the future!!!!!!! read more

One star because zero isn't an option. Our home warranty dispatched Focus Rooter to repair our water heater, and we have now been 8 days without hot water - with three kids in the house. The replacement part was approved Thursday. Since then: no installation window, no returned phone calls, no response to emails. They took the job and vanished. A plumbing company that won't answer the phone while a family goes over a week without hot water has no business taking warranty work. If your home warranty assigns you Focus Rooter, demand a different contractor immediately. read more

This company was wonderful. They were very professional and had a quick response. I had a horrible clog and they were able to fix it. They came with and hour after calling. I will definitely use them again. read more

Their customer service is terrible. Tried calling them several times with no answer or call back in regard to a job they had already inspected at my house. During their inspection of a leaking pipe, their "technician" decided to manipulate a value which ended up causing the pipe to go from a leak to a full break. Then they don't even have the decency to call me back. read more

Enrique and his team are super quick to respond to urgent and non urgent plumbing needs which showed me how much of a priority customer service is and how efficient they work. The issues I was having with my new house have been properly assessed and fixed to my satisfaction. Focus Rooter and Plumbing helped me understand the process, provided time to make an informed decision, and offered us a good deal. They also have different payment options which is a plus. Great for all plumbing needs! read more

Focus Rooters & Plumbing was very easy to work with and highly communicative. Enrique and his partner were as perfect as it gets, knowledgeable, communicative and honest. I was so stressed I got a new stove and the original Costco logistics said this stove needed a new valve and other things and it might not fit. I gave Enrique a call and he was able to help within an hour of our call, professional at its finest. Especially as a single mom I don't have tons of money but they were fair priced. I have a Fidelity National Home warranty, my hot water heater went out. This is the company that they have contracted with, I called them on a Friday and did not hear from them until Monday. On Tuesday they sent a man out to assess the situation and report their findings. The next day I received an email with a list of items not covered however, definitely not needed. I tried to call them to discuss the items. After 6 calls and several voicemails over the course of 2 days I gave up and hired another company out of pocket to replace the water heater and seek reimbursement from the warranty company. This is an absolutely terrible company to work with. I should have known when their man showed up in an unmarked van, When I called the main office they told me the portion that works with home warranties was closed, what would you do in an emergency?? Horrible experience but I am glad I dodged a bullet because if they are trying to sell you unneeded items I could imagine the quality of the work I would have received. read more

They were polite and kind but I actually wish they had never shown up in the first place. I had two faucets without hot water. I filed a claim with my home warranty which sent me Focus Rooter and Plumbing. I informed the two plumbers of my issue, told them that I already confirmed the issue to be with the piping, and let them go to work. They replaced various things in my faucets (which I told them wasn't the issue). They then, unsurprisingly, noticed that the issue wasn't fixed. I explained, again, that I think the issue is with the piping. If the issue is with the piping, they'd need to install completely new pipes. They don't have time for that, so they leave. Here's where the service was just truly so awful: - They report to my insurance that I don't have pipes at all and need net-new pipes. Home warranty of course doesn't want to pay for new bathroom piping that never existed, so now I'm on the phone with them for two hours. - In the end, I fixed the issue by following the piping, finding a somewhat stuck valve, and just turning it back. Fixing the actual issue was so simple that even me, a full amateur, was able to do it in about two hours. Instead, they arrived and then cost me multiple hours of frustrating phone calls with the insurance. You're probably thinking: Felix, didn't you just call them to explain that? Yes, yes, I did. They didn't pick up and never called back. I'd recommend someone else. Literally anyone. read more

I had a great experience with FOCUS ROOTER & PLUMBING, LLC. They handled two plumbing jobs through my home warranty and were punctual, efficient, and very professional. Communication with the homeowner was clear and timely, which I really appreciated. While they were there, I asked if they could help with an additional issue, and they generously offered to take care of it at no extra charge. On top of that, they were extremely courteous--super friendly and even took their shoes off before coming into the house. Fast, respectful, and reliable service. I would absolutely recommend them and would gladly use them again. read more

Techs were super helpful, respectful and courteous. After a few frustrating weeks of low water pressure while waiting for a part, they kept in great communication and were able to fix our issue. Great experience working with them. read more

Finally, a plumber who gets the job done right, efficiently, and with a smile. We've had a shower faucet issue since we moved in January. Have had two plumbers come out, scratch their heads but say they will fix it, and then ghost us. Frustrating. Enrique actually got it fixed in only half a day. He showed up within an hour of us calling him, drove all over Napa, AC, and Fairfield looking for a replacement valve, and when the valve didn't fully solve the problem (builder issue, not Enrique's) he came up with a quick fix and got our shower working. Highly recommended. read more

We had a leak in the main in our front yard several months ago, it was the line between the main and the house so even shutting off the valve to the house didn't solve it. Focus was responsive to the service call and they did a great job and were very conscientious of leaving the yard in good shape after the digging. Enrique (the owner) informed us that he (has) worked for the city or county water service and even though the repair would be considered our responsibility, that because it's a necessity of the line between the meter and our house that they might grant a partial rebate. Whether the city will honor this or not, we still need an itemized receipt for the services provided. This would be useful for tax purposes if we sell the house as a deduction. UPDATE: Enrique finally gave me a physical invoice for the work done months ago. He brought it personally to my house. 4 stars for their work, still dinging one star because it took many texts and calls and ultimately a Yelp review in order to elicit a response. My rating is not for the service performed but for the fact that despite numerous calls and messages left and texts sent and assurance from Enrique that he would send a copy of the invoice - that has never happened. If he decides to ever return the messages or texts, I will update this review. read more

One of the best experiences I've had with home warranty service providers. Technicians replaced my old garbage disposal quickly and neatly. I noticed drops of water that evening, and Jesus came out next morning to check (false alarm, probably just drips from the old disposal.) Very pleased with service. read more

be warned! they only want large profit and will ignore you for weeks! This company does not care or focus on helping customers, they focus on earning most out of you. Have a home in Castro Valley and they sent Angel (the tech) to check the faucets and water heater. we have two downstairs vanity faucets having issues. Two weeks after the visit, no report on them, called so many times and I started to believe their office is intentionally ignored me. So I called the owner Enrique , he's telling me that's not his dept, and he seemed not care at all, instead he's "Focus" on profit, telling me the insurance only will pay them a little and asked me to hire him directly for more profit. Enrique just don't listen and constantly over talked me. this company has not integrity and I wouldn't let them touch any of my plumbing items. I called them at least 50 times and texted messages. read more

Focus Rooter and Plumbing was the choice of my home warranty company. They were prompt and kept me informed prior to them servicing my home. Well guess what, my plumber Jesus and team was the best. Not only did he go above expectations, his skills and craftsmen far outweighed everything. Focus is the only company I would recommend to all my friends and family. Thank you Jesus! read more

Avoid this company! Extremely difficult to contact and speak with someone directly on the phone. They are very slow to call back after leaving voicemails as well. And this is during normal business hours. VERY poor communication. My project has been going on for 3 weeks now with no progress. I was stuck with this company as my home warranty contracted them. I would use a different company if I could but I'm stuck with them. read more

Fantastic work! We're very happy with their service! We can easily flush the rest of our lives

I needed an emergency plumbing job at my house and I looked on Facebook and I found this company, they arrived promptly and diagnose shipping pretty quickly and are super professional with their work and followed through. Do not even think about using these people! I would have moved to another service months ago but these people are who my home warranty people are using. It has been over 2 months since the process began and my problem hasn't been touched. They have made multiple appointments (4 hr windows) where I have stayed home to accommodate. They do NOT call or show up. There is NO communication and no accountability. I am stuck because the home warranty company has chosen to use them but if you don't have to deal with them STAY AWAY!!! read more

Water was backing up into our sink so I searched for a plumber in the Vallejo area and Focus Rooter and Plumbing came up. 04/06/25- Called yesterday, Saturday, to see if Focus Rooter would be able to do some work. My kitchen sink was clogged and water won't drain. One call and Mr Enrique gladly answered my call and was told that he can do it the following day which is a Sunday. I am expecting that most would not accept Sunday work and make it into a Monday. I was impressed on how prompt he can do the job. My last clog in my kitchen sink was Nov2020 and done by Beastbay Plumbing. But when I called Beastbay (as a repeat customer), I was booked on Monday. But here I am, cannot function fully without my kitchen sink and tried to call local plumbers with high reviews. Two of them did not answer, while Focus Rooter did! So, I cancelled my Beastbay appointment on Monday and went with Focus, around 9-10am. 10:20am comes and i had to call Mr Enrique to follow up. He said that he will be at my house in 30mins. Then he called me back that he will send his other workers that do work for him. Then, the 3 great guys arrived in a white van with Focus logo. (I forgot to take a photo!) Brian, Mikey and Edgar! They were all eager to start the job. Mind you, it's a Sunday but they came prepared and happy to do the job. They tried their first tool, like a small auger and after awhile, clog is still there. They had to size up, using the high end powered snake and still did not do the trick! And they really work hard and took the time to run the snake and did not give up. Next step would be- to see the crawlspace. Without hesitation, Mikey went under followed by Brian to check the pipes. They went back in action and resume with their powered snake. With all their patience and endurance, wooohooo!, finally the water went down and my kitchen sink is back to life! Thank you for going above and beyond, not giving up and always willing to work, no matter what the job may be! After it was fixed, they left the house spotless at they cleaned up after themselves! Brian clearly explained what happened, how could it have been prevented and what they did. Now, I can have my regular plumber that lives local and is always to ready to tackle any plumbing jobs! If only I have known Focus before, for sure- I will always be one of their satisfied customers. Give it a try! This is an excellent family business and treats customers like their family. What impressed me the most, is that, they never stop until they solve the problem! We are all so busy and I forgot to snap a photo. Paid via Zelle. I highly recommend Focus Rooter. Even though I have not met Enrique in person, everyone who works at Focus is really focused on what they do! Very kind and pleasure to deal with. Very humble and respectful and best of all, they are available for emergency services. All with a great attitude and perseverance! Thank you Brian, Mikey and Edgar for helping me with my misery! It's so hard not to have running water in the kitchen! These guys were amazing! See you again next time and I will recommend you to my friends and famiy! read more

I had a plumbing issue that had been unresolved for nearly 20 years. Enrique personally came out to evaluate the problem and provided a very fair and reasonable estimate. Within a few days, he and his team completed the work, and it was done right--no shortcuts, just quality craftsmanship. They even addressed additional issues they discovered along the way, and Enrique remained considerate and fair with pricing despite the scope expanding beyond what was originally expected. I couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome. I highly recommend Enrique and his team and will definitely call him again for any future plumbing needs. read more

So our plumbing issues have continued, this has nothing to do with Focus Plumbing but rather a 80 year old houses plumbing. This time our main sewer line broke and needed to be replaced asap. They came in immediately, gave us a very reasonable rate to replace it and also informed us of a $3500 subsidy the city was providing to replace the very same pipe. We qualified and this ended up saving us nearly half the cost of the project! Enrique and his crew had the work done in a couple of days even though it involved digging down nearly 9 feet. Once again Focus Plumbing saved the day! read more

I called for my mom's leaking kitchen sink faucet. Enrique was quick to respond and gave us a fair estimate explaining what he needed to fix and replace. It turns out that the pipes were installed incorrectly and the pipe itself was leaking as well as the sink drain leaking. He and his team went to get new parts and replaced the pipes and drain. He also discovered a clog in the pipes that was also causing a backup. He fixed the clog as well. I highly recommend Enrique and his team for prompt amd thorough plumbing services. read more

I called multiple plumbers because my sewer had backed up on me. No one could come out the same day. I called focus rooter and plumbing. I spoke with Enrique and he said he can come over in about a hour. Enrique and his crew came on time and went straight to work. They were able to snake my sewer line and clear the clog. They did a video inspection of my sewer line and found roots and a belly in the pipe. All work done in less than 30min. I have an old house and the sewer is made out of cast iron. I've been holding off on replacing my sewer pipe but due to what they found I asked for a quote to replace it. Enrique gave me a quote to have it replaced and didn't pressure me. He told me, think about it and let him know. The way him and his crew worked I decided to have him do the work. Him and his crew came out the next day to start the work and I was told it would be 4-5 days to complete the job and they would have everything ready before cutting out the old pipe witch I appreciate because not having a sewer meant my family and I would have to stay somewhere else while the repair was done. Enrique and his crew did all the work in two days. Job was done with a permit and inspection passed, trench was filled back in my yard looked untouched. Enrique and his crew are all hard working people that know there stuff and are all vary nice and respectful. I'm definitely going to be working with him in the future. read more

It was July 3. Monday at 5am I went out to my garage to see a stream of water coming from the water heater!! Frantic calling around, Enrique picked up the phone. He said, he can come out, and give me a free estimate, and tell me if it's fixable or not. Meanwhile I got prices, how much it would be a new water heater, and labor. In 25 minutes we disgust my options: I had my new water heater couple days later, ( get permit, be up to code), and was $ 800 cheaper, what others quoted me. I'm very satisfied with he's prompted respond, and honest pricing, he's on my speed dial:)!! read more
