They came out the day I called. The was the only thing they did well. They left me with a leaky toilet. I called and said that this couldn't be right that I be left with a leaky toilet when the agreement was to fix the leak. They reset the toilet but the leak was in the washer that bolts the tank to the bowl. They said they would return at 8 am this morning with the right kit for my toilet. Nedded plumbing service at my home so I called these guys and set up and appointment for today for the hrs of 3 to 4. The hr came and went and went and a no show. I called they didnt answers then I looked up their store hrs and they close at 6pm it was on 515 so i called again on my wifes phone thinking they knew my number and the phone rang twice then straight to voice mail. Now 2 years after the job I can tell that what did was not really good. So we rerouted the hot water pipes for the whole house ; it will take at least 5 minutes to have hot water coming out of the faucet . It used to take a few seconds before rerouting . Also cosmetically they did a very sloppy job; as I was told by another plumber . They got the job done really fast ; however, it turned out a very sloppy one . I had a urgent situation with a water line in my yard , and initially it seemed this team would be helpful as they came out quickly and began to attempt o diagnose the situation. I asked for a solid estimate prior to them stating the work; however, i wasn't provided it. I asked again the 2nd day- as it seemed the crew was only working part of the time and my concern on pricing began to rise - . I was STILL not able to get an estimate- for example no hourly rate for the workers digging was provided ( the only portion of the estimate provided was for the individual " trying" to find the leak) . At the end of the day some of the work was ok; however, the lack of willingness to converse ahead and on time about the potential price range was VERY poor business. These folks can do decent work, but charge on the very high side. Word of advice- make sure you have a signed estimate ahead of them doing ANY work!! Trust me i've done many jobs with contractors before, on full reconstructions of houses/ yards- and this style of business was quite disappointing- especially the overbilling for the level of work put in. read more

We made a call early yesterday (around 830) about a broken pipe and water leak in front of our home on the emergency line. He took the info and stated he would pass it on and no one ever called or came by. My mom ended up calling back around 4p and was told that they had too much going on. She said they didn't give a real reason why no one came out or called. She felt like they were overwhelmed. He mentioned people and appts but for an emergency line (that we initially called) I would assume those calls are priority. He ended up saying he would call a guy. Around 545 or so another guy called and said he was in Calistoga and couldn't get to us till the morning. The gentleman showed up this am and did a great job and fixed our problem in less than 2 hours. Apparently he doesn't even work for this company. Our problem was fixed and we now have running water with no leak. I am submitting this review because an 830 call with no response on an emergency line is not great customer service. I would have called someone else to have the job done if I would have known that there was no available guys to come do the job all day. And ultimately it ended up with someone completely different doing it anyway, 24 hours later. So thanks for that's read more

My water line from the house to the street had a leak in it and part of the pipe was underneath the cement slab. I called 4 different businesses concerning getting bids on the project. Nasser came out actually a day before, surprise visit - he was in the neighborhood. He got out of his truck and went straight to work - deciding what I need and the time line that it would take to get it done. He was the cheapest bid, BUT, I knew once Nasser started talking to me, I knew that I was going to hire him, he was just so confident, knowledgeable and just appeared to be trustworthy, and appeared to be just a, " Nice Guy!" Mike and Mark, came out the next day - and got to work. The house was built in 1989 and they used PVC - Holes were dug and then new copper was placed, pulled under slab and old PVC taken out - New valve for main shut off and then another new valve for sprinklers. My experience in dealing with Nassar and his crew has always been positive. I had one of the men come to my house to look at a leaky sink, but at the time it wasn't leaking. Instead of making needless changes and charging me for work that was not necessary, he gave me advise as to what to look for and some things my husband or I could do if the leak did come back. How many plumbers does it take to fix a leaky faucet or better yet, how may trips and hours? After two trips and 24 hours Waterworks stopped a faucet from leaking. The bad news is that the action on the faucet is night and day different, which isn't a good thing. I have used them in the past with decent results, this time not so good. Charge for the fix was more than replacement of a new Moen. Not a good value, not a good experience. This should really be a 1.5 star at very best. read more

We contracted A+ waterworks to perform an upper sewer lateral repair, where they would burst the existing sewer pipe, plumb, tie in, test, get it inspected, and raise the clean out. However when we contacted the Vallejo Sanitation & Flood Control District we found out that our upper sewer lateral doesn't pass the inspection because the soil around the clean out on the street was never compacted, which we had called A+ waterworks at least twice about and they had told us they would send a crew out there later that day to compact the soil. Vallejo Sanitation & Flood Control District also couldn't pass the inspection because a concrete pad around the district clean out wasn't installed. When we called them about it, Nasser told us that none of the other properties have so he'll come by "later today" to fix the problem as he told us about the soil compacting. - A+ waterworks also didn't supply us with a christy box cover for the second clean-out that was installed next to the house. When we called them about it multiple times, we again were told that someone will come out later that day to bring it to us. That never happened. When we brought up the same complaint about two weeks ago, Nasser got quite hostile over the phone. We ended up buying the christy box cover ourselves as it can be a hazard to anyone walking near the area. When we try to contact them, they always give us the run around or tell us that they will take care of it later today but as indicated that never happens. Our main problem was we had paid them the day that we had thought they finished their job, so obviously from their point of view they don't want to waste their time doing what was contractually obligated of them. So take what you will from this. Either double check with the inspectors yourself that everything did indeed pass, or just avoid this company and find another one. They're not worth the headaches. read more

This company was recommended by our next door neighbor who is a contractor. When we had drain problems in our house in Benicia, my wife called them. They immediately came out, go the drain flowing again, showed us the roots he removed from the line and recommended a course of action to prevent future backups. I thought that a water main break by the street at our rental house in Vallejo was going to cost me THOUSANDS of dollars because there was a tree root and a sidewalk involved. AND it was after 5 when I tried calling people. I asked the really cool guy at the city if they had any recommendations about a plumber and he told me that the city can't make recommendations, but unfortunately this happens alot and he gets feedback from homeowners all the time. And consistantly homeowners call him back to say A Plus Waterworks were the people to use. Nassar at A Plus called me after hours to give me my options and said he would go out first thing to take a look. He gave me 2 options - TRY to fix it, or fix it right and run the right copper piping from the break at the main to the house. I was waiting for the horrific price and he told me $600-$700 to fix, but $1500 to do it right. we decided to do it right since it was so affordable! They were pretty booked, but he had a crew go out and put a temporary fix on until he could complete the job. They dug up the yard, but ran the pipe UNDER the sidewalk. From the day I called to completion? 3 days. And the tenant said the crew was so clean and worked quickly so that they would not be out of water for any extended time. We have been using this company for the past 10 years! Excellent service and their response time is excellent! First we had a very bad situation with our sewer pump which after discussing the problem we had them replace it. We have not had any problems with the pump since. We have had to call a year ago for a blocked sewar line and they rectified the problem immediately! Roots had to be removed from the line. Again this year we had the same problem, but they resolved the problem again. They did explain how we could take action to prevent future backups. They isolated the leak, we've had no recurring issues and it's been over a month. Water meter kept on running even after shutting off the main valve at the house and water bill rose dramatically in the last billing cycle. A+ Waterworks was recommended and contacted and they showed up the same day to give an estimate. They were very friendly, very knowledgeable and their prices were a lot less than I expected. Job started in January, Nasser said it would be "at the most" a 2 day repair and our house sitter would not be inconvenienced. We paid $1700.00 in advance. She didn't have water for 2 weeks, the technician would come at irregular hours, would not call in advance and did not keep appointment times. Holes were cut into the drywall and never repaired. It is now June and the job has NEVER been completed, we still have no water in our kitchen, fine if you like lugging buckets of hot water from the tub to the kitchen sink to wash dishes.. The house is totally covered by a video surveillance system and I have documentation of the coming and goings of A+ Waterworks. I called another plumbing company, Don Nicols Plumbing. They identified the issue right away and will fix, I will expect A+ Waterworks to reimburse me for the $925 it is costing me to have him fix what A+ Waterworks could not. Horrible, Horrible Customer Service. Nasser seems to have a chip on his back. Even worse poor work. Would not recommend, except to recommend that you run far & fast from this company. My realtor set me up with Advanced Trenchless for my sewer lateral inspection in Vallejo, but I recommend A Plus Waterworks, which recently completed the actual work on my lateral. If you're buying or have a home in Vallejo, Nasser works closely with the city inspector and knows what they require in order to qualify for the rebate; AT apparently does not because they did not provide me with a video that was adequate (they missed part of the lateral, so it had to be rescoped) and the price they quoted me was higher. AT also doesn't apply the $250 inspection fee toward the repair work. Nasser's crew are all very professional and nice to work with. read more

Nasser and his assistant did a thorough job assessing the problem causing the toilets to not flush properly. He explained what they were going to do to fix the problem and gave me an estimate of cost before proceeding to do the work. Tree roots have grown into the sewer lines causing the backup and Nasser explained what it would take to fix the problem permanently. Their fee was reasonable and Nasser had said if the problem reoccurs within 2 weeks, they would come back out and fix the problem at no additional cost. My only advice for potential customers is (1) to be very strict about your schedule by confirming your own appointments ahead of time and (2) follow up as frequently as needed to get the information you need. After a few phone calls to A+, I was finally connected to Mike Nye. I reported to Mike what I thought was the problem on my home fire sprinkler system. He requested that I take some photos and send it to him so that he could give me an estimate. During the process of taking the a second picture, I discovered that the problem wasn't with the fire sprinkler system, but with the water softener system. I thanked Mike for his assistance as my water softener system was under warranty and I would contact the plumbers that had installed the system. A few minutes later Mike called me back and said that he noticed that my fire system gauge pressure was way to high and it needed to be released. Mike did not have to call me back to tell about this and then take the time to walk me through how to release the pressure. Mike went beyond and helped me out even though I did not hire A+ Waterworks. If Mike is the type of people that A+ hires, I would definitely recommend them for any plumbing issues.
