The past few times I've hired them, they've been great! They were very communicative, explained everything they were doing, kept me updated throughout the process, provided an invoice and pictures, and even emailed me a copy of everything. The best part? They were AFFORDABLE! Fast forward to September 2026... and somehow my family of SIX has found ourselves dealing with yet another rat infestation. I seriously wish I knew how these little guys keep finding their way into our house! We're currently buying traps and trying to handle it ourselves because, unfortunately, we just can't afford the $850 base fee for Economy Pest Control to come out, figure out where they're getting in, and set traps. I absolutely understand that businesses have their pricing and costs, but I definitely miss the days when I could afford to call them for help. So here we are... fighting the rats ourselves! Please wish us luck because WE NEED IT!

Surprised by Nicholes hospitality and Greatful that someone is willing to help since I got told that that a technician is coming between 9-12 by the appartment manager and after finding out that the appointment wasn't made and I cleared the kitchen cabinets and counters ready for spraying, I called the company and begged them to squeeze us in. They assured me that the technician will call me and come by, but unfortunately that didn't happen. I was bummed out and then Nichole showed up and went out of her way to accommodate my time and did a Amazing job inside by being detailed. I recommend and vouch for Nichole service to anyone that needs a professional, detailed and service that really went beyond what was expected. Thank you Appreciate you Nichole

We got off on a rocky start, but they did finally come through for us…read more While visiting my disabled sister-in-law in Sacramento, we discovered she had a rodent problem. We solicited help on Yelp from a few pest control companies and Advanced said they could get her house treated that same day. This worked out well because the next day we were leaving to drive home to WA. We spoke to a salesman, Dru, and got the service call scheduled for the same day. She set up a quarterly recurring service and provided her payment information. The technician was supposed to arrive that afternoon before 7PM. We waited all afternoon and he never showed up. I called the office and was told he had called in sick, so they would have to reschedule for the next day. This was very frustrating because we were leaving the next morning and wanted to be there when the technician arrived since my sister-in-law is uncomfortable with letting strangers into her home. I soon got a call back from Dru who apologized for the mixup and said he would credit her the cost of the first treatment and have the tech out the next day. We scheduled so that he would arrive during the time her caregiver would be there. We spoke to my sister-in-law the next day and she confirmed he arrived and took care of the treatment. However, a week later her caregiver trapped three rodents on a sticky trap and tossed them in the trash. We advised her to call them back to do another treatment and looks for new signs of rodents, as well as to see if they could tell how they were getting inside. I reached out to the company and she had not contacted them (she's elderly and disabled so I'm not surprised). I got a response within a few minutes. They arranged for the office to schedule a follow-up visit to get the rodent situation under control and try to find out how they are getting inside. Now we are hoping this rodent problem gets resolved! They also treat for insects so hopefully she no longer be getting bugged by uninvited visitors!

Some joists were missing hangers, some hangers used non structural screws, beams were cut short, posts that they installed were leaning, the list goes on. The pictures are *after* their first attempt, they aren't the before pictures. So that gives you an idea of how bad of a job they did. When I pointed out all the mistakes and how disappointed I was, they tried to fix half the mistakes and they literally squirted caulk into the gaps of the cut-short beams and tried to cover up their work by throwing on non structural covers to hide their mistakes. Their answer to doing a shoddy job the first time was to come back out and try to cover up their mistakes. Infuriating. I now have to go fix their mistakes myself. They actually created more work for me. I'd hired them before and they didn't always get the job done right the first time but they usually got it don't satisfactorily. I would strongly advise against anyone hiring them. They are terrible

Economy is GREAT to work with, with solid performance and success in eradicating the rodent problem we were having, and the subsequent maintenance that has continued to keep the little varmints at bay since they started providing their services. In particular, I wanted to say that Tony McMahon is one of those kind of guys who does their job sufficiently well to have gotten me to take the time to write this stellar review. He's conscientious, has good follow-up, with great attention to detail...he even took the time to point out to us an issue that wasn't even Pest-Control-related... On one of his recent visits, he noticed a strong "exhaust smell" under our house...we had recently had a new HVAC system installed, and there were some issues with both the settings on the unit itself (gas pressure set for Natural Gas, but ours is a Propane system), in addition to some venting issues. It could have become a hazardous situation had it continued on in perpetuity (could have been something we didn't notice for a long-enough period of time to become dangerous). So Tony taking the time to bring it to our attention was completely instrumental in us contacting the HVAC folks to address the issue(s) more expediently, saving us from a potentially larger problem down the road... Tony...you ROCK! (And I just heard that LOP will no longer be your territory...HOPEFULLY, E.P.C. has sufficient depth of talent and hiring prowess that your replacement will be as good as you have been!) Thank you VERY MUCH for your exemplary service and thanks additionally for lookin' out above and beyond!
