This company provided exceptional service after our gate was damaged in the accident last week. We really appreciated their quick response in sending Tyler out first thing the next morning to assess the situation. Even more, we were grateful that Shane, the owner, took time out of his incredibly busy schedule to come out personally. Knowing that he has been carrying so much of the workload yourself while his right-hand man recovers from his broken kneecap made his willingness to help us all the more meaningful. Watching him carefully inspect and adjust the hydraulics, posts, hinges, control box, and remotes until he was completely satisfied that everything was operating properly reminded us why we chose this company in the first place. Their knowledge, craftsmanship, integrity, and commitment to their customers are truly exceptional. We thank them for standing behind their work and for treating us so well. We will continue to recommend this company without hesitation to anyone looking for a first-class gate company. read more

I highly recommend this company. The owner Shane is a master of his craft and the quality of my new gate reflects his level of expertise, skill, and years of experience. Shane is direct and clear about sizing up the concept, timeline, the vision of the project, and the costs. He listened to what I wanted and produced exactly that, on time, for the cost agreed upon. I had a tight space and challenges to work with and he overcame any obstacles to produce an amazing finished product. Shane is a rare breed of professional, highly intelligent, creative, with a clear vision of how to do things at the highest level of quality. He does what he says and is a man of his word. His communication during the entire project was excellent and his crew were hard working and skilled. My gate is incredible! read more

I reached out to Shane after seeing a recommendation for him on a local subreddit. Although my job was small (installing a new automatic gate in place of an old manual one on my driveway), he was enthusiastic about the work and respected my budget limit. I chose him over other bidders because he showed the most interest and investment in the project and had some great ideas for the gate. The work was done quickly, and the crew showed up on time. Shane and his foreman Seamus were very communicative the entire time. They thoughtfully secured my property when the work was in progress, and the final custom gate and all the details showed care of craftsmanship and cohesion with my property and unique needs. I mentioned one item of concern and Shane and Seamus were back out the next day and got everything exactly how I wanted it. Shane also let me know he was available if any issues arose, or even if I needed help with something simple (like a battery replacement) down the line. He's already checked in to make sure everything is working well. Of all of my home updates/repairs, this has been one of the easiest and most satisfying! read more

I called owner, Shane, of Rolling Garage Doors & Gates and he was able to get the parts needed to fix my garage doors and completed the repair the same day. He had one of his technicians respond to my house within a few hours of my call and he fixed my garage doors quickly. The price was very reasonable for the work that was completed. 5 stars to Rolling Garage Doors & Gates!!! Thanks again Shane!!! Best, Dan read more

Shane and his crew were absolutely awesome!! Very smart, highly communicative and did a perfect job repairing our gate keypad after it was damaged by a large utility truck. Gave me a very reasonable bid and went above and beyond with cleaning things up in the old wiring and even setting up all the new components perfectly! Highly recommended!! Thanks Shane! read more

I contacted Shane on 11/12/24 about my moving gate no longer working. Shane came out to my home the same day, and by the next day 11/13/24 I had a brand new motor. This company knows their stuff! Everything was explained to me of what needed to be done, and when they were finished they explained to me how it worked. The best part was, Shane was leaving on vacation and he stilled called me after the job was completed to see if I had any questions. Customer service like this is rare these days. Thank you! Great service and quality work. They replaced a poor gate opener with a top of the line unit. Expensive but worth it.

When our 44 year old garage door failed (mounting hardware separated from the wall, after that it got even uglier), Shane returned our call quickly and a technician arrived next morning. Inspection confirmed what I already suspected - our door would never make it to 45. Installation of our new door was started the following day. We are very happy with Rolling's fast response, extremely knowledgeable tech, and product quality. Highly recommended! read more

When I purchased my home in 2017, I inherited a poorly configured solar-powered gate on a track that needed a lot of TLC to keep it running, and Shane's good work kept it working for eight years. But it finally bit the dust earlier this year, and Shane and Seamus did a masterful job working with my electrician to convert the gate to far more reliable electrical power. Shane stands behind his work and is conscientious about following up if there are any post-installation issues. If his rates are sometimes on the higher end, that's partly because he insists on using best-in-class products to minimize later gate maintenance issues. I'm glad to recommend him. read more

I can't say enough good things about the quality of work and approach by Shaun and his team. I live in a community of 4 homes and we needed to replace our gate openers and bring them up to code. Shane at Rolling Garage Doors & Gates was the only one to take the tine to deeply analyze our existing system and shortcomings so he understood what needed to be done to complete a great working system. We had several other estimates that didn't come close to RGD&G Our project was relatively small relative to other projects he works on, however he took the time to answer all of our questions while educating us regarding what was to be done. Now that the project is complete, the level of work is outstanding. Our system works so much better than before and should last many years. His company deserves 10 stars! read more

There are actors and there are originals. The owner, Shane Dalton, of this outfit is an original. I've been a building contractor for over 40 years all up and down the west coast and know how to do almost every task that's relevant in the building industry on my own. I've dealt with my share of BSers. This guy is not one of them. He knew exactly every detail of the gate and opener I installed on my own residence and fixed it on the spot. They're hard to find these days but knowledgeable people still do exist. My experience with him was a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend Shane and his company. Steve H. 12-5-24 read more

Shane and his crew were amazing. We couldn't be happier with our driveway gate.. From the initial consultation to the final step they were professional, respectful, skilled, and hard working. The final product is beautiful, secure, incredible workmanship, and seamlessly reliable. Not only did Shane stick with the budget and bid-he finished all of the work faster than expected and left a clean work space every day. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a gate company. read more

Shane has been an unbelievable help as we build our new house. Our new garage doors are gorgeous - way better than we could have expected - and are almost silent when they open and close. Shane helped us pick out the perfect product and even went above and beyond to store these for us when we were rained out for months and couldn't install them. Now that we are almost in, he sent his crew out to readjust our laser beams when they got bumped and were out of sync without us knowing what happened. Great product, great price, great service. We know Shane will help us in the future if needed and won't ghost us now that we are done. Very happy here. Highly recommend. read more

If you want someone just to "fix" your garage door, don't go with these guys. But if you want a company to repair your garage door, inspect your door, lubricate the hinges and recommend any other repairs that might be needed in the future, all at a competitive price, go with these guys. Shane was great to work with. He understood my requests and did everything to accommodate. John the technician was very knowledgeable, respectful and detailed. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. Great job. Thanks. read more

Called them about a new gate system at our new home. Shane said to send photos of what we had after he informed us he wouldn't be able to do anything for three weeks. After taking the time to text a series of photos of our old gate and system. He texted "We are specialists in high end gates. I'm not going to be your guy." No Shane you not going to be our guy. We wanted a new, high-end, custom gate and got treated like this? Can't believe he judged us by our old gate. Going to spend my $$$ somewhere else. read more

Our Apollo gate stopped working at our rural property. I called Rolling Garage Doors & Gates and Shane called me back. We discussed the issues and he asked me to text him several pictures including of the gate hardware and openers as well as the interior of the controller box. After assessing things, Shane thought I should purchase a new battery first, and felt pretty comfortable that would do the trick. It did! I am very grateful for this advice and much appreciate Shane's professionalism. I've owed other rural properties with entry gates so know how complicated they can be to fix. We strongly recommend Shane and Rolling Garage Doors & Gates. read more

Shane was really, rude,Impersonal, curt basically just an asshole. No other way to say it. The funny thing is I haven't even done business with him. I simply asked if he could bring down the price on a quote .he told me that he had no time for people like me. That he wasn't going to haggle with me that I need to check with somebody else that I'm just not gonna do business with you. The whole interaction was in humane. Just crazy to be treated that way. If he could have told me in a KIND way . There are just other ways to handle a situation. When I read the other bad reviews just know they are true. This guys is just a bad Apple. If he interacts with strangers ( possible clients) this way I can't imagine how his workers are treated. Well I hope this was some help. I'd find someone else. Im read more

Our gate motor burned out and after contacting several gate companies, I reached Shane of Rolling Garage Doors & Gates and I'm lucky to have found him. I was looking for someone to advise and consult with me on best options vs just provide me with a basic quote or ask me what to quote. Shane provided insights and opinions, was accessible, responsive and flexible and fulfilled all deliverables. I emailed Shane a picture of a gate I found online and he personally fabricated an exact replica. Not only did Shane fabricate a replica, he diagnosed the issue behind our original gate failure so it wouldn't repeat (builder did not have a dedicated circuit running the gate). None of the other companies even looked that deeply into the issue, they just gave me a quote. Finding the root cause was Shane's first step. Since the installation, Shane has checked in on gate function several times and responded with immediate assistance when delivery trucks have caused issues. He ensured all equipment installed operated to specs and replaced components when he felt otherwise. Excellent service, full of integrity, great work and follow through. HIGHLY responsive. From the call to his Wife ( Courtney ) who listened to my Garage door dilemma to Shane showing up the same day. Awesome doing business with these guys. Called before expected time, arrived ready to work with his assistant ( :( I forgot his name. ) work was inspected, knows what he's doing and they both worked hard. My door is now working better than before it was broken. I will suggest you use these guys. I love communication and hard workers. BAM. They are both! Year later: had trouble with door, came out diagnosed it as the motor. ( home warranty covered it ). Now my door is awesome. Great belt driven machine, clock on garage button and self closing timer! Had his young man helping him and both kicked butt! Love Shanes work ethic! Very personable. A+ read more

I love my new custom driveway gate. Shane was very responsive from our first contact and always came at the times he estimated.
