I am very disappointed in the services of this company. They scheduled a time to come and give me an estimate for my project and then cancelled the same day they were supposed to arrive. After they came out on the new date, they never sent the estimate. I followed up 2 weeks later to find out why I hadn't received an estimate and was told it was coming soon. After four more days, a total of nearly 3 weeks from the visit date, I still hadn't received an estimate and they texted me that they were too busy and booked to do the job. Michael did a fantastic job. I hired him to paint my three story townhome (walls, cabinets, ceilings, bathrooms, etc.), replace toilets, faucets, vanity tops, and door hardware. It was no easy task. Him and Kevin took about a couple weeks overall, well within the timeframe he told me at the beginning. And let me tell you -- I couldn't be happier. If there's a challenging element to your remodel, he will put in his hours to work on it. And if you need vanity tops, he has a guy. Michael also listened to any of my concerns and made sure to let me know what could be done. If you're going to hire Michael, just be sure everything discussed is on his quote so there are no surprises on your end. I would recommend Michael and Co to anyone looking for a contractor. A lot of units in my building have been getting work done, and things I can tell you that set Michael and his team apart from other contractors: Michael was responsive (more through phone than email), showed up on time, showed up the days he said he would, made efficient use of time. I did a full fixture/flooring upgrade in one bathroom and sink/toilet/floor tile replacement in another and they were done in two weeks. I had flaky contractors quote me low prices and fancy, meticulous companies quote me enormous quotes. Michael's was solidly in the middle, and the quality seems great (I'm not a professional, but the bathrooms look beautiful). Will be using him the next time I have a project, for sure. read more

So happy with our recent room remodeling. Michael and his team quickly and expertly removed tiles from the floor as well as tiles that ran up part of the wall. They also removed and replaced the subfloor. They kept the area tidy throughout the demolition and patched up the drywall. They then installed new luxury vinyl flooring in the room and painted the walls. Reasonably priced, hard-working, fast and nice guys to work with. read more

We had a leaky toilet. Michael was very responsive and came over the next day. He provided us a reasonable quote and offered to pick up the new toilet for us from the local hardware store. The day of installation, he picked up the toilet and supplies, showed up on time and installed the new toilet. We're very happy with his work and would hire him again *** UPDATE *** We've had Michael out twice more to replace a microwave and two other toilets. I am always skeptical when I read glowing reviews but it led me to Michael to determine the cause of a water leak. Not only was he able to determine and fix the cause, he and his company repaired the ceiling drywall and painted the ceiling and side wall to match the existing wall perfectly. I called Michael to cut, hang, mud, and sand the drywall on my 2nd floor attic conversion in late 2015. He and his crew did a great job at a reasonable rate. They were very professional and very efficient. Michael gave me a shopping list and I supplied all materials, which is what I had wanted to do anyway. I've referred him to many other people since then. The only reason I've left off the 5th star is because I've had some minor issues with the drywall (several screw pops and ceiling corner bead bubbling/cracking due to adhesive failure). I didn't contact Michael to fix since it would have just made a mess in the finished space. Overall though I was very satisfied and will continue to recommend his services. read more

They did an awesome job! First, they installed a kitchen faucet. I bought a cheap faucet and there was a problem with it but they were able to fix it. We were given a quote to remodel our master bath and was told it would take two weeks. The second week he went on vacation for four days. This had to of been known in advance so why werent warned or quoted two weeks initially, confused us. Communication throughout the entire process was lackluster at best. During a conversation I was told it would be finished Tuesday but he said he wouldn't be back until Wednesday? At this point I had already stopped questioning things like this and just wanted it done. There are crooked, misalined tiles in the shower which I didn't bother bringing up. When he said he was finally "done" and wanted the rest of the pay, there were several things not completed. These things were an outlet where the wiring was not properly aligned and covered and the much bigger issue, the shower that still didnt have any glass installed. Leading up to what looked like the end of the job, I asked about the shower repeatedly, and was always given vague respones and told it cannot be measured until everything is done. This I understand but I was never able to find out anything, such as the type of glass, handles, or who was even doing it. Never got a date on it or anything at all. I was told his shower guy isn't answering his phone. Well the normal thing is to find a different guy. I was told he would have an answer the following day on when the shower would be measured and installed. At this point I was at my wits end so I just paid him and said if I don't have an answer by EOD the next day I am calling different people to finish the job. As a contractor this should be a red flag you are badly dropping the ball, but he got his money and seemed to be done with the project. I did not get a response until I reached out again. I was told the next day yet again. The next day I just told him I am calling different people now because he cannot get me an answer. He replied "Ok, no problem. Thanks." So he flat out didnt finish the job. I am giving three stars simply because the work he did do was 7/10 at best, but the process and communication over the ~4 weeks was handled poorly and flat out not finished. He did offer to fix the outlet and smaller things that were leftover but since he already signed on another job, I was done waiting on non-answers and delays. I only paid because at this point I was confident I could just have someone else come in and complete it in a more prompt and professional manner. For smaller tasks I think he would be fine but I would not call back or use him for a full remodel. read more

We had a burst pipe in our first floor powder room during the Polar Vortex that required fixing up our bathroom and the ceiling and walls on the floor below. As a relatively new homeowner, I haven't had to find a contractor for something like this before and the process was so frustrating at first. After dealing with a couple contractors who either ghosted us, told us the job was too small or gave ridiculous quotes, we finally found Michael. He was responsive and prompt and he came in with a very reasonable quote. He made a frustrating experience so much easier! He did a great job on the bathroom and walls! Just as importantly in my book, he showed up when he said he would and followed through on communication. He even got the job done in less time than estimated! We had a couple hiccups due to a mistake by a big box home store, but he was helpful in getting the problem solved and was able to come back to fix the issue.
