Thus, I drove in the high heat to the office for my appointment even though I am older and the heat makes me fatigued and ill. When I got there they tried to force dirty ionizing radiation old school dental X-rays upon me. I asked if they had the new radiation free DEXIS CARIVU technology and they did not, but they had said prior that they would not force me to get dirty ionizing radiation scans. But when I got to the office, I felt tricked. They said they wouldn't do the exam without forcing me to be exposed to the radiation cancer-causing scans. They tried claim the x-rays are low dose as ever as the industry has lied about for decades. However, there is no safe dose of ionizing radiation according to LNT, just look it up. IONIZING RADIATION IS A KNOWN CLASS 1 CARCINOGEN. The only safe dose is no dose. Everyone should be asking for the new dental technology and RADIATION-FREE DENTAL EXAMS! These dentists should not be forcing cancer-causing scans on their patients. The first rule of a healthcare provider should be to DO NO HARM. Especially for children.

There's also fruit water by the door for you to enjoy while you shop. The first time we visited we had lime & orange, and the second time we had strawberries. Very nice touch! Most importantly, the staff were incredible. We had the pleasure of meeting Ian and Stephanie our first time in. They're owners of the shop and it really showed how much they love their jobs & appreciate everyone who walks in. They were both incredibly personable and informative. We were in & out in minutes, because of how knowledgeable they were. They were happy to share some local hiking spots with us & interested in everything we had to say. INCREDIBLE hospitality. We came back a second time solely for them, where we met Mariana, another bud tender. She was beyond sweet and also knew the menu extensively. All in all, great location, amazing selection, clean, amazing staff & ownership, and all those little touches that make smaller shops soar above bigger dispensaries. I'd come back a million times if we lived here. Thank y'all for making our short time here so memorable. If you're in the Santa Fe area, definitely check them out!!

About two years ago Dr. Rufo ,who is not at this office any longer, talked me into changing a good crown because I had some gum recession. He also placed two small fillings for the same reason. I had the crown adjusted several times and endured severe pain for 3 months. My whole face ached and he explained that I had irritated a ligament in my jaw. I then found out that those three teeth were on "root canal watch". It finally stopped hurting. However, one of the fillings fell out. Recent crown had to be adjusted post procedure and it was painful for a month. Recently ,their wonderful hygienist Manny left, I had a scheduled cleaning done by the dentist in about 30 min. Not pleasant. My spouse, who is scheduled for a total knee replacement was scheduled for a cleaning prior to surgery. Cancelled him as they only have one hygienist. Offered an appt in February. He has been cancelled several times and will go one year and one month without a dental cleaning. Total loss of trust and will not be back.
