Anywhoo...the event was free but they had vendors selling food and the ballpark has an indoor facility that has a bar and concession stands. My son ordered nachos and they were cold by the time he got back to the stands. The facility itself is really nice, they have several different fields for teams to play their games. Overall the experience was good.

Where…read moremy son practices baseball and plays many of his games is down a dirt road and it doesn't even have a parking lot. This place in fancy smancy! It is conveniently located off of the 360 Tollroad. It only took me 45 minutes to get here from Mckinney. It usually takes me an hour to get to most of my son's games that are out of town. I was brought to this ballpark for a USSSA World Series. I saw many complaints about the parking lot because it is shared with Hawaiian Falls. I was "Front Row Joe". This was a big improvement, I usually have to park on the side of a hill where my son normally plays. As an added bonus, I didn't have to worry about foul balls or home run balls hitting my car. I knew there was a gate fee. Most of the big tournaments do. This one was $10 per person. I can't tell you happy I was to pay that $10, because I was at a baseball game with air-conditioning. Did you hear me?? I was in an air-conditioned building at a travel ball baseball game in July. I have never been at a tournament with air conditioning. There is also a restaurant. I've never seen a restaurant at a youth baseball field either. I was so excited, I cheated from my normal eating habits of salad and splurged and got chili cheese fries. They were AMAZING! My sons had pizza and hot dogs and it was smiles all around. I really felt the pricing was normal travel ball concession stand prices. As you already know, the ball fields are replicas of famous ballparks around the United States. I think Wrigley field is my favorite with the rooftops from Wrigleyville in the background. My son played on Ebbots Field and I thought it was ironic that the fake people painted on the outfield had an awning for shade, but the actual human spectators behind home plate was not shaded. Oh and just a note, they allow you to bring in tents to create your own shade. For this tournament they allowed coolers of water and fruit. They checked coolers and my son's bag when we came in. It looked like they confiscated a lot of Gatorade from other players. Our coach made sure we knew the rules of the facility, so we already knew what was allowed in the park. If you get a chance to play here, do it! My son loved it and it was a wonderful experience for our family.

James McKnight Park East is a family fun oriented park right off the 287 near The Shops at Broad…read moreoffering many luscious green grass and trails to explore! Parking is relatively easy due to the large parking lot that is provided. The park is easy access from the freeway as well or from entering one of the many shopping centers in the area. They have a gazebo that provides seats with many benches and tables that are shaded. There are also 4 baseball fields nearby where you can play a quick game of baseball, softball, or maybe even kickball! There are restrooms, BBQ grills,picnic areas, and more. This park also connects to the Walnut Creek linear trail and leads to many of Mansfield City Parks in the area. This park has trails and a map of where the trails go to at the front of the park. They have landmark numbers all throughout the trails just in case an emergency or accident happens on your adventure. The cool thing about this park is that there are trails that lead under the freeway when crossing through, and I find that amusing. Dogs and pets are allowed but must be on a leash at all times when visiting. Overall, this park is great for anyone who enjoys the great outdoors and likes nature. This would be a great park to host birthdays and other special events for family fun.

So I joined a Friday night softball team lol It's only…read morebeen about 30 years since I've played any kind baseball/softball so I needed some practice to knock off the rust . I found this place on yelp and went to go check it out! They have lots of room with many options! You can hit baseballs or softball balls or you can get in some field work and put your glove on to shag some balls. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I will prob be back tomorrow for a little more practice before my double header tomorrow night.. the prices are very affordable. It only cost me 12$ to hit 60 pitches and do some field work!! Thinking about getting a membership!

The facilities are nice, though some are a little worn (bathrooms). When the event got chilly I heard the organizers asking the venue for outdoor heaters and the venue said they were all broken. Enough is Enough…read more I've been a member here for about 10 years, and the outdoor hot tub is CONSTANTLY broken or closed. And guess what? They never bother to update the app when it's shut down. You show up, pay their ever-increasing fees, and the amenities you came for are just... unavailable. And suddendlty the hot top ( when is working) is closed at sunset... since when? I've complained to the front desk multiple times, and absolutely nothing changes. It feels like they don't fix things until people blast it publicly. For a gym this expensive, this level of upkeep and communication is ridiculous.

Someone should notify the AG and have this club and owner investigated. This is basically a kiddie…read moremill where they milk families out of money, don't care about the kids or the teams or the coaches. They will have younger kids playing up just to fill a team and not lose out on the $$ which causes loses. Also, the contract is blood sucking. you would get a better deal with a loan shark. If your kid breaks a leg on day one you still have to pay for the entire season. Likewise, if they don't have enough kids to form a team and the season is cancelled you still have to pay.
