Great ballpark, good concession prices, and ample parking. Makes for a fun day at the ballpark.

Nice stadium. Capacity is less than 4k. Getting in was easy they just scan your tickets and no security. Beer is on the right as soon as you walk in, wine on the left. I liked that they had Kona on draft, I could get two beers here for the price of one at a MLB stadium. The bar on the 3rd base side weirdly didn't have any draft beer. Each section on has about 8-10 rows in, so no bad seats really. We came the second day of the season and was surprised that the restrooms weren't very clean, all the sanitation bins were full - which didn't make sense. The stadium also had a fishy smell to it which I didn't notice to begin with but about half way through I couldn't not smell it! Most fridays if not all are fireworks and they let you sit on the grass - nice little display with a good view. Would come back again, hopefully they sort the smell and cleanliness issues out. Got a first time certificate but they don't have any stickers or buttons - they did have some in the store but wanted $5 for a small button! Game times tend to run longer than MLB, it was about a 3hr game. read more

Being a long time retired baseball player, I enjoy visiting ball parks, large and small. This is on the smaller side, but it has a lot of good characters. Add baseball with a side of railroading and you have a very nostalgic feel and look. Walking up you're greeted with an old switch engine at the entry gates. It's not closed off, so it appears the kids may be able to climb on it if desired, don't quote me on that tho. I came when it wasn't busy, so there wasn't much in the way of by standers. It's a very nice looking brick building, resembling the ball parks of old with the brick structures and tall architecture. Parking is plenty. I know they've been known to host some fairs in the parking lot. It's a beautiful place, complete with some historical signs and placards on the walls to give some education on the baseball team as well some local railroad and city stuff. The team that plays here is a very underpaid team. They are fun to watch, tho they are not MLB or even AAA rated, but they do play well and deserve all the respect given. read more

Another item that has been on my bucket list for a number of years. Figured 2024 was finally the time to check out La Moderna Field and the Cleburne RailRoaders. Of course I walked around the entire stadium taking pictures, including one with the mascot, Spike. Woohoo! The RailRoaders played the Chicago Dogs and unfortunately lost 5-4. The game was rather uninteresting up till the 7th inning. There were a bunch of activities for the kids. Attending games here is definitely fun for the whole family. Overall, there was a lot of positive energy and vibe. This made for a great first visit. Admission and parking prices were very reasonable. I will definitely come here again. read more
