Still a nice and fun place, but maybe they changed ownership. It used to seem friendly in the pro shop, and mostly still is, but there's an older heavier guy working in the place now that is much less welcoming. I got the impression he either owns or manages the place. I mean, whatever, it's a driving range. I don't really need to go in the pro shop, so still recommend it overall. I have no idea what Grace was talking about; 1. It is only a practice facility, not a golf course. 2. There is not a tree anywhere obstructing your ability to hit the ball at various targets. 3. All the chipping greens have at least one ball rake laying beside the green. This is simply the best practice range in the area, and the best one I have ever come across anywhere. They also have a top rated highly experienced club fitter, and a great staff of teaching pros. The bucket price has gone up but the facilities are top notch, there are way more parts of your game you can practice here than any ither facility I have been to. They do have monthly and yearly memberships that make it pretty economical if you use the facility a lot. read more

My husband is here all the time so it must be great. He likes that it's close by. It's also lit at night so I guess that's good. He's met a couple guys that he golfs regularly with now so I guess it's a good meeting place for golf buddies. I'm glad he has it. read more

This pretty much the only game in town as far as practice facilities go. It's a good one though. They take care of the place. I know cuz I was chipping on a putt only green and they ran out to stop me. I just know they do that to everyone they catch. Thanks. I really like that they're open til 10:00! I go to Leonard's regularly but today was my first time using some of their other services. Spent some time with Steve, their fitter, and could not have been more happy with my experience of getting fitted for a new shaft in my driver. I haven't played here yet, so this will be all about the practice facility. Long story short: the driving range is good, but confusingly littered with trees - depending on where you set up, you could have a huge tree right in front of you, which to me is a little intimidating? They're far enough away to not be a hazard, but no one ever wants to hit a tree, haha. As someone who loves to practice their short game, this place was incredibly disappointing. They had three different greens - one for putting and chipping, one for chipping only, and one for chipping with sandtraps around the green. The putt/chip green was completely covered with practice balls with no way to collect them quickly and efficiently, so it was pretty much impossible to chip on the green and not have your ball hit another ball. Also, I know that it's winter, but the grass around the chipping green was pitifully short, offering no potential practice from out of the rough. The putting green was ultra confusing to me - not a single one of the holes had a flag in it. How are you supposed to practice long putts if you can't see the hole? I ended up not making it to the sandtrap green, but it too was completely covered in practice balls, which to me is just useless. Prices aren't bad and it's fairly convenient for me, so I'll probably be back. But there are so many flaws with their practice facility, I can't help but look for another course to try out. read more

As others have said, the buckets here can get pricey. However, I will gladly pay considering the quality of the facility here. The range itself is solid but not spectacular. They could use some more targets in the 100-150yd range. The chipping and putting areas here are what really sets it apart. The greens, the surrounding grass, the contours, and bunkers all contribute to a great practice experience. Add that to the fact that it is lighted and open until 10pm and I can only think of one practice facility that I have been to that is nicer. read more

I think hitting here can really improve your game. I'm just always impressed with the country-club quality grass. There is plenty of space to hit and the hitting line moves daily for clean surfaces. I've been able to practice as if I'm on the course. I would say though that $12 for a large bucket can get pricey very fast. They also have a putting, chipping, and sand greens that can help improve your short game. I've also gotten fitted for a driver here, and as a result bought my driver, which I'm very happy with. If your looking for a great driving range in the DFW area look no further. This is by far the best driving range I have been to without a doubt. The staff in the pro shop is incredible and was able to answer all my questions. The balls were clean and in good shape which is hard to come by at a public range. The Putting and short game area is top notch as well. I went early Saturday morning and the spacing on the range was perfect. Price wise it was great as well. I will defiantly be returning to this range and would recommend if you are looking for a place to practice to check this place out. They also offer club fitting here as well and as far as the pro shop goes this shop has more product then most public courses or country clubs for that matter. I have always had trouble finding a place to practice as many courses around me the range does not open till close to 10 or the range is small and is always crowded. That is not an issue here with 161, that's right I'm not exaggerating, spots for use and during the summer opening at 8 am and closing at 10 this place cannot be beat. read more

Beautiful facility. It is a bit pricey, and I wish they had a shaded driving range for our hot summer days. The chipping areas and putting greens are fantastic, just be sure you use the pvc collector to clean your path up on the big chipping green, so you are not hitting into a sea of balls! read more

Very clean, organized, and spacious practice facility. Parking is convenient. I really enjoyed myself.

As driving ranges go this is top shelf. Yes you pay a little more but you get access to a great putting green and chipping green. The lighting is great too. Besides tiger woods and other nike players might be next door at the Nike R&D facility on site. read more

This is one of the finest practice facilities in Texas. The huge bent grass putting green alone is worth a visit, but the rest of the facility is first-class, from the staff to the pro shop to the practice bunkers. Ok, what the heck with everyone saying its pricey? They all say how amazing it is, country-club type grass, terrific this and that, but its pricey? You get what you pay for, and I've paid the same bucket rate for far worse elsewhere. By a membership and save a lot of money.
