He said we were not allowed to ride out the storm and continue to play and that the course was closed. We had to end our golf round and when we got back to the club house the rain stopped. Only 4 holes in and the only day we could play this week since we are visiting. Pretty disappointing.

I joined the Timarron club, they raised the prices without notice, charge my card every month for three years. When I tried to cancel because I am moving, they billed me for two months after I called them to cancel because the "contract" says cancellation has to be in writing. That says it all. When you have to pull out the contract and rely on fine print...business isn't too good.

Each hold had unique character, there was a nice balance of risk/reward on each hole, and the course was in nice shape for the lack of rain. The range was very large and was in great shape. The staff was very helpful and we saw a marshall every so often even though the pace of play was reasonable for a private club. Check out my photo of the 18th hole which was super fun to play. I wish I could have emptied a bag of balls for my second shot to this par 5 until I hit the green, but Tin Cup was not playing on this day. Didn't ask the membership costs since I already belong to a club, but this one is nice for the golf enthusiast.

Unlimited driving range and practice area, Cowboys Memorabilia, a nice lunch and a dinner after playing. Course was great and Cowboys history markers at every tee box and your golf cart has a past Cowboys name and number on it. After dinner we relaxed and socialized on the patio in front of a fire. I believe I paid just under $200 for a late tee time and played the 18th in the dark but I finished! They charged a fee for my wife to ride along but that included everything except playing golf and was resonable. We are coming back in November and would absolutely Love to play again but cannot justify on retired teachers pay spending almost $400.00 this time as it has definitely gone up in price. But will definitely stop in and visit but will hurt to not play. Fabulous place!

They also had a live band that came in to perform that night. It was such a great evening, great views, they're near the airport, so getting to see the planes fly by at night was quite nice. Mary Ellen is FABULOUS to work with and she is very detail oriented! The room for our bridal party to get ready in has wonderful natural light, and stocked with beverages and food. The reception is held downstairs, one area for tables, and another for the dance floor! We had around 170 guests and we all fit comfortably. We had two bars set up, plus a separate cake table! We had our friends and family travel from in state, and out of the country, and I'm SO happy this is the venue where we celebrated along side with them!
