Of course, anyone would flip out when they say "you don't have an appointment". Next, the receptionist says it her fault but asks me to wait or come back. What am I supposed to do with that nonsense?! I practically had to demand and appointment. Which I'm getting 3 hours after my scheduled time, as I continue to fight hunger pain and my disgust with his staff. First of all I'd like to make it clear that I am rating ONLY Dr. Clinedinst and not Beauregard…read moreMedical Center itself. I am not factoring things like waiting room time, reception staff, nurses, etc. into this review. I went to see Dr. Clinedinst for a sinus infection because my usual doctor had already left for the day. She came into the room wearing one of those masks that prevent germs from spreading. The exam was very fast. She checked my throat, nose and ears. Then she asked a couple questions to determine whether the infection was likely viral or bacterial. Then she washed her hands, wrote a prescription for an antibiotic, offered some advice on OTC meds I should take and that was that. The whole thing took five minutes or less. She was professional but very "to the point" and business like. Some people may be turned off by her demeanor but I appreciated the speed. If you're looking for fast and quality care, and you don't need a coddly bedside manner from your physician, I recommend Dr. Clinedinst. If you're looking to make a new best friend or have your boo-boos kissed, you should visit Dr. Mommy instead.

For the people who have reviewed her as 'cold', she is not cold, she is a doctor, she is busy, and she is not there to hold your hand. I will continue to see Dr Clinedinst, and I feel lucky to have an internist as my regular physician.

Note: I visited Dr. Tanenbaum at the Virginia Heart location at Inova Fair Oaks. Like most…read morespecialists, I believe he alternates his time between different locations. Anyway, I've only been to one appointment so far, but Dr. Tanenbaum is definitely one of the best doctors I've seen in ages. My visit was concerning my hypertension -- I had been through so many medications with my family doctor, but I couldn't tolerate the side effects of any of them. (The final straw was when I complained of fatigue and had antidepressants thrown at me -- it says right on the bottle that it may cause drowsiness!) Dr. Tanenbaum really took the time to learn my medical history and devised a plan of treatment to get my blood pressure under control. Initially, I was afraid that his bedside manner would leave much to be desired -- the man used to be a professor at Georgetown. My fears were unfounded, as he was very compassionate and courteous. I highly recommend Dr. Tanenbaum!

My entire immediate and extended family have gone to this practice for years now. I have also…read morereferred many friends and business associates to them. I can't say enough about the quality of care they provide. It feels like family from the women at the front desk, to the nurses, to the office manager, the technicians and of course the doctors!!!! They all treat us like people that they truly care for and not just a patient passing through!!! They are professionals at the top of their game, but provide that caring and genuine relationship to their patients. I can't tell you how many times one of us have had a concern or situation that needed an immediate response and Melissa(the office manager) handled our concerns efficiently and with kindness and respect. All of the staff have "been there" for us when we needed a little extra care or just to be heard!!! Its SO hard to find a truly competent AND caring medical practice these days!!!! The practice of Mitchell, Whittaker and Wu (AND ENTIRE STAFF) are and always will be our medical practice! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I showed up and was expected to wait and wait. I did so because I was a fool, and they kept saying any minute now. She finally arrived and was extremely arrogant. When I said I actually was ready to leave and would not pay since she was late for over an hour and she herself had a "charge the patient if they're late policy," she, Maria Garcia, shut the folder and said, then I didn't get my test results. She then proceeded to "go at me." I would stay away from someone like this who clearly cares more about collecting payment than patients. After the fact, I looked up her credentials since she was a referral from a PCP, and she has bad reviews online. Save your money.

Appointment times are difficult to come by and my waiting room time has never been less than 30 minutes. Last time I was there I waited for over an hour past my appointment time while she was in her office chatting with a drug rep. Her front desk staff is not professional. They have no consideration for working patients who have to use their vacation time to make appointments. This is the last time I will visit the office. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

I can now see why my previous internist chose to not be part of this group any longer! The front staff is obnoxiously loud, extremely unprofessional, and more focused on socializing rather than giving accurate information/wait times for currently waiting patients. If you choose to continue coming here, I highly recommend in bringing earplugs, because you'll end up with a total migraine from the shrilling raucous. The phlebotomist is super lazy and inefficient, and, I kid you not, I have waited over 2+ hours to just get blood drawn. The last straw was when I was told there was no queue when I directly asked one of the receptionists what the estimated time of a wait was; I waited 20 minutes with no updates, and, when I finally went up to ask what the ETA was for the phlebotomist, the receptionist had the nerve to tell me that he wasn't seeing anyone currently, and it would be another 30+ minute wait. The communication here is wack. It's clear that the staff here has absolute no respect or consideration for patients' time nor any ounce of professionalism. +wack communication skills from front staff +lazy phlebotomist +horrific wait times

When I was visiting his office about 12 years ago, I sat next to a patient in the waiting room. He was an older white man with a thick German accent. I was a 20 something black woman probably reading a gossip magazine or playing a game on my phone. On the surface we had nothing to talk about or in common. But as time and boredom grew, we struck up a conversation. I commented about his cool accent and that I was hoping to travel to Germany one day. He shared Germany was a wonderful place but that he didn't travel back often. As the conversation continued, he eventually shared that he had been a German solider in World War II. That even now (2013) he felt that the media was always trying to separate people. He had trusted what he saw and learned the hard way that we all have more in common than we don't. I knew what he meant by saying he was a German solider in WWII and I had NEVER expected to ever meet someone that had fought for Germany during that time, let alone disclose it. I had always made monsters of the people I read about in history books. I also, never thought about the humanity and wisdom of someone that had believed something at one point in their life and had changed. "We should have nothing in common, but look at us. We could talk all day." I have never forgotten his vulnerability and candor. I think about this interaction a lot. I wish I had had the foresight to have recorded it. I believe it would have been impactful as a reminder that we are all vulnerable to our echo chambers and to challenge what divides us. If this man was your father, granddad, uncle or friend and he's still alive, tell him thank you and ask him to scream his wisdom from the roof tops. I'll forever be grateful for that conversation. Dr. And Mrs. Prinz, I hope you are enjoying your retirement. Thanks for the long wait times. I would have never expected small talk on. Friday afternoon to not only become a lasting memory but continue to shape my perspective over a decade later. Sincerely, Former Sales Rep
