During this 2 weeks I sent doctor Mathur emails to keep her updated so, I could be treated immediately when I returned. So, Dr,. Mathur took off January 29 and is never in the office on Mondays and works only a half a day on Fridays. I limped home and arrived in the United States on January 28, 2026, and On January 29, 2026, Dr. Mathur informed me that she taking the day off on January 30. Yes, she really did. After 2 weeks of emails she tells me the day before I needed to see her, that she was taking the day off. For the second time during my short concierge period, she referred me to another doctor. Unprofessional and lack of concern for my well-being. I canceled my agreement with the office.

The Center for Breast Health is located at 1625 North George Mason Drive, Suite 315, Arlington, VA 22205. The phone number is (703) 717-4217. Dr. Sebastian is a FANTASTIC doctor! I could not have found a better surgeon for my bilateral mastectomy and axillary lymph node dissection. The axillary lymph node dissection was necessary in order to check the number of compromised lymph nodes with cancer cells. After receiving the results, I decided to proceed with radiation. Dr. Sebastian is extremely knowledgeable, efficient and detail oriented. A genuinely compassionate human being. I always felt safe under her care. Dr. Sebastian took ample time to explain all the details of my upcoming surgery, answered all my questions and guided me through the entire process. I never felt rushed in her office. I am forever grateful to Dr. Sebastian for the excellent work she did on me! My bilateral mastectomy and axillary lymph node dissection surgeries performed by Dr. Sebastian occurred before my DIEP Flap Breast Reconstruction surgery performed by Dr. Alex Mesbahi (AKA Dr. Ali-Reza Nouri-Mesbahi or Dr. Ali Mesbahi) of "National Center for Plastic Surgery." All surgeries were conducted on February 12, 2019. As pleased as I was with Dr. Sebastian's work, I was extremely disappointed with the results of my DIEP Flap Breast Reconstruction performed by Dr. Alex Mesbahi, who was one of the three Plastic Surgeons recommended by her. In hindsight, I wish I could have selected a Plastic Surgeon of my choice rather than be restricted to one of only three choices of Plastic Surgeons recommended by Dr. Sebastian. All in all, I highly recommend Dr. Sebastian of "The Reinsch Pierce Family Center for Breast Health" at VIRGINIA HOSPITAL CENTER for a bilateral mastectomy and an axillary lymph node dissection!

Dr. Cheryl Gottesfeld is an Arlington gem. I have been visiting her office for over nearly 15…read moreyears intermittently whenever I have had a back issue or some problem with shoulder pain. Her understanding of back pain problems is deep and thorough and she combines this with an insightful, and upbeat bedside manner. She is a very positive person and takes a "let's fix this" approach. She has an uncanny ability to feel around and isolate the exact cause of the pain through her touch and feel diagnosis. She targets the exact section of the joint or vertebra that is the source of the pain. She is very confident in her abilities to work on spinal adjustments and if I have trusted her for 15 years I think that says a lot. (For perspective, please note, that I have seen different style of chiropractors, massage therapists, accupuncturists all with varying degrees of success at various points in my life, but I still see value in coming back to see Dr. Gottesfeld if the situation warrants it and for comparative approaches.) She works on you with a 'healers' understanding of the issues your backpain is arising from. Mechanically, her adjustments are really fantastic; she takes a full body approach, and there is a sense that you are in healing hands. Personally, I have always felt instant/overnight relief. Dr. Gottesfeld understands the problems of modern life in the DC area, including sports injuries and chronic sitting problems. Before your problems get accute (and yes I have seen good, young friends hospitalized due to accute lower spine compressions and nerve issues) go see Dr. Gottesfeld. Get the book she has published on the chronic problems associated with a sitting lifestyle. I would highly recommend her practice to anyone who is facing back pain and injuries. Others have noted billing issues. I think there can be issues that arise from her trying to minimize administrative costs and I think you should just work with the billing department in her office to figure this out and have fair expectations of the best way to work out your payments. Again this is a glowing review of Dr. Gottesfeld's excellent chiropractic skills and healing abilities.
