I've been a proud Michael Christopher Salon client for a quarter of a century (odd, being that I stand firm at age 35!). I believe I've posted one or two reviews in years past regarding my loyalty to the salons professional and kind employees and their fantastic array of services. I have yet to phone in a request for service that wasn't made available to me, the girls at the front desk continuously work with me until appointments are scheduled and I am satisfied, and pleasantries are alive and well during entire transaction, from scheduling to checking out. I took advantage of this months promotion for $20.00 off of a facial (also key are MCS's frequent and generous offers and promotions for services and products a like). I'm only upset that I did not take advantage of this facial service a long time ago!! Summer, a consummate professional (I speak from experience because she and Chelsea have been performing my eye & lip wax for years and I adore them both!), administered the most relaxing and feel-good facial that I've ever experienced! It truly was an hour or more of bliss & at the fairest rate I've ever paid....the price CAN NOT be beat, it's a steal! I understand there to be several options within the facial menu (I just can't imagine a better one than what I had) & I am looking forward to experiencing all of them & on a regular basis. Summer's knowledge of facial products and treatments is only outdone by her gentle yet firm touch which actually put me to sleep, just invigorating and incredible! And, it doesn't stop with the face... She gives such a therapeutic hand and arm massage and a phenomenal head and chest and neck massage! Just wanted to give a special thank you to MCS for making me feel completely safe this week during my visit. My temperature was taken at the entrance. Hand sanitizer was available t the entrance and throughout the salon. EVERYONE wore masks. If you were having color done, a disposable paper mask was given to you so as not to ruin your cloth one. Heather, as always does an amazing job with both my color and cut. I have medium long hair that is highlighted. In the summer, the sun tends to lighten it too much, so she adds in low lights with my root color and that tones it down and makes it look more natural. On top of that, Heather is so friendly and always makes me laugh. Her laughter is so infectious, it's hard not to walk out of there with a smile. Regina is my reflexology and nail tech. There is nothing more relaxing than hour of reflexology followed by a pedicure! Regina is warm and funny to talk with and has truly become a dear friend. Her laughter is also infectious and leaves me smiling for hours after I leave. MCS is like family! read more

Ragarding Lia's comments, I think that maybe she's new to the idea of higher-end salons. When you are 45 minutes late, clearly you cannot have your hair done that day. And it is silly to expect them to give you color to take to another salon to have done. First of all, once the color is mixed, it has to be used immediately. I really like the experience I have at this salon. It is more expensive than it deserves, but I like that they act like professionals and don't stand around chatting with each other about their weekend partying. And I never feel like I'm being looked down on either, which I've also experienced at other places. The quality of the work is where they leave something to be desired. Color is good, cuts are just okay, and I've had several people do both for me. All in all, I would recommend it. read more

I have been a customer at this salon for many years and have never thought of shopping for better. I happened on the best. This salon is clean and friendly. Upon entering you are recognized and greeted. My stylist Carly is the bomb and I always allow her to create a cut for me. My cuts are always complimented, and grow out beautifully. Many people have colored and washed my hair, and I have never experienced anything but professional and genuine women. This is an Aveda Salon which means products used and sold are the best quality, natural and eco-friendly. The salon design is minimalistic and comforting. I have been coming here for almost 5 years now, and I can honestly say that I highly recommend them. Denise cuts and styles my hair with precision and to say my hair is a challenge is an understatement. I have thin, fine hair and when I leave I look like I have 10x the hair that I came in with. I have a couple of highly recommended manicurists, Regina and Jen - both are excellent for my natural nail manicures and pedicures. Summer and Chelsea tint and shape my eyebrows and are excellent. I need to try a facial! The front desk staff is great, especially Jackie. She has helped me arrange scheduling, and moving things around with my schedule. I've been going to Michael Christopher for most of my life. I grew up getting my hair cut there and returned in later years. I've lived out of state for over two years now, but I make sure to get my appointment in every time I'm home! I have had many different stylists cut, color, and highlight my hair, and each of them have done a phenomenal job. I never leave disappointed. The salon is very welcoming and make you feel at home. I can't say enough about this salon that truly has the most awesome, sweetest, loving and caring owners who are husband and wife. The whole entire staff is a reflection of them two. Especially during these trying times with the Covid, they go over and beyond for the health and safety of their employees and clients. The salon and the employees at MCS are wonderful! I have been going to the salon since it first opened and have always been fully satisfied with their service. I was especially appreciative of Jen who set up a time for my grandson to have his first haircut before Christmas on a day that I am sure was full of appointments. She was able to find a little time for him so Alex could work her "magic" in cutting his hair, though he wasn't really happy to have it done! Everyone worked together to make it happen! This salon has been my home away from home since they opened at this location. Come and expect to be pampered from the women at the front desk to every stylist or technician you visit. They are professional and excellent at what they do and make your time there a fun experience. The only downside is that they are always busy so you must make an appointment. Recently made a transition to Michael Christopher after being recommended to use Liz for color, cut and blowdry. Loved the previous salon I went to but thought a try was necessary. I don't expect I'll be leaving Liz's services any time soon. She was able to address my years of hair breakage and was open about it taking a little while. A few months later and my hair has not been breaking at all like before (and yes, I was also at an Aveda salon before). I now have my appointments booked through 2018! read more

Michael Christopher was the best for service, people, location, wait times, getting an appointment before COVID. With COVID they have taken every step they can to make clients and employees safe. I have been there many times with no trouble. Cleaning is happening non-stop, temperature checks on way in, everyone is properly wearing a mask and plexiglass is present in all areas where social distancing is not possible. I love this salon! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It's a beautiful atmosphere, clean, comfortable, and the Aveda scents are so relaxing. They even have lemon water and light snacks while you wait or to enjoy during your visit. I believe the owner has created a fabulous salon!! Love love love MC Salon. They have a great atmosphere, desk staff is super friendly upon arriving and I just love getting my hair done by Beth. I'm a no mess, keep it simple, hair person and don't do well with having to "style" my hair. She does an amazing job cutting it to keep the style easy, natural, low maintenance and pretty.
