Michael Anthony's is one of the very few restaurants near where we live that offers delivery from their restaurant not using delivery services like Door Dash or Grub Hub. This helps to save a little money and is super convenient if you're not feeling well or just want to relax and rest without cooking and cleaning up. We opted to share Michael Anthony's large Stromboli. Made with their homemade pizza dough it's stuffed with pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, green bell peppers and onions plus cheese. Very tasty and satisfying. Served with a side of their homemade marinara sauce. Their sauce is very,very good. Not bitter or too sweet - it compliments their strombolis and calzones very well. We also opted this time for a cup of their daily soup choice : Pasta fagiole. Loaded with beans and vegetables in a delicious broth - it was a excellent addition to our meal. My husband who is very particular about his food was very happy with their soup. A very satisfying and filling delivery meal that cost us a total of $33.21 including a delivery fee plus a driver tip for the convenience. It's great to know we have the option of delivery in our area. We will continue to use their delivery service plus eat at their restaurant when we want good quality Italian cooking. read more

Fist time visit to Michael Anthony. I found the restaurant to be very clean, staff was good. Ordered the garlic knots with extra garlic came out perfect. We got a large pizza with onion and 1/2 mushroom. Great crust, sauce was ok not great but still good. I give Michael Anthony a 7 out of 10. I Love their food and service. Ambiance is good but not amazing. They have really delicious Italian Wedding soup and warm bread and butter brought to the table. The thin crust personal pizza with cauliflower crust is really good as well. I ask for lightly cooked so it's not too done. I felt like a hog that had just been slopped. I called in an order that said an hour or less. It was a simple order a veggie sub and a dozen wings. I called them back twice after an hour and twenty minutes and they didn't really care just said you're order is on the way. We got the order one hour and 45 min later. It was slop the sub was so soggy and the wings were cold. The sub was not edible just a ball of wet bread. The wings were ok but there hard to mess up. Very slow service. They only had one server in the entire place so I can't fault her for being slow. Pizza was the greasiest I have ever eaten. We just started going here for pizza because Crystal river is lacking in that area. So far we have had good service and the pizzas are pretty darn good. Place is nice and quiet even when they are busy. We haven't taken advantage of the BYOB yet. Tonight we may even try something besides their pizza. I think that this place could make a great Detroit style pizza..
