This place is a neighborhood gem!! They've been open over 50 years! It was packed with regulars and had a family vibe. Just awesome!! The calzone was gorgeous and fantastic! That dough is amazing and they loaded it with fillings. The chicken parm was disappointing. It was good, but felt like wedding reception quality frozen chicken patty. It was good, but I'd order something else next time. Old school iceberg side salad was nostalgic and perfect for this place.

Being from CA it's really hard to find good pizza. I'm not a pizza person but my husband is and says this is as close to CA as there is. He had a jalapeño, bacon, pepperoni pizza and loved it. I had the Greek salad. I'm Greek and the potato salad in the middle is not traditional but that salad was spot on. It was delicious!!! Every single staff worker comes to your table one way or the other while there and they are all so sweet and kind. But, I have to say Lauren K was my most favorite tonight. Not sure why she just stood out. Took care of us like a mother would but we are way older lol. Thank you Luigi's and thank you Lauren. We will enjoy our leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

We had two servers taking care of us, and they did a great job! The food was delicious with very healthy portions. Warning- if you order the papazone, plan to share! It is very large! I am going to sit with this for a minute and then come back and lay it out. Not great, not terrible but slightly lower than mediocre. Sorry Papa, Fong is not upholding whatever you hopefully had going on? Not sure. The food was 25% okay. But from beginning to end... meh. So here, are the "viable complaints" the management wanted to hear about. We were seated and the server didn't come over to greet us for at least eight minutes. She was brusque and busy. She couldn't really tell us anything about the menu despite the questions we asked. We ordered the bruschetta. It was a catastrophe on a plate. It seemed like a base for puttanesca not anything fresh and light as you would expect from bruschetta. Silverware rolled into logs concealed dirty old food nubbins. For dinner we ordered a variety of entrees and several were not great. The orange roughy was soggy. The cod was overcooked and fishy, the server offered a remedy of bringing a lemon butter sauce. This was 50% canola oil and absolutely terrible and failed to improve the dish. Nothing was hot, not even the stuffed shells. Another dinner was basically pasta with sauce and some chicken thrown on top. Nothing pretty or green as a garnish, no basil as embellishment, no grated parmesan. The pasta called shrimp jeanie was actually good, though the shrimp was undercooked. At delivery of the meal, our server auctioned the food off. This is the same server who took the order and delivered it, but couldn't recall where the food went. This is not the guests job to remind of who ordered what. They don't have seat numbers? We told her that the fish was subpar and the sauce meant as a Band-Aid didn't cut it. She let us known she would have ask the manager about it. We learned later that she was the manager for the night. So she had to ask herself did she want to comp a terrible fish dinner off our check? Well did she? She did. Hooooo ray. Anyway, not great. There were dirty plates and empty glasses from different courses left all over, even after desert arrived. Not a notable or delicious experience and the dining room doesn't have a "Disney" vibe. We wish them well and wish we had been in when Joe was the owner, but we won't be coming back. This is our gift to them. Vaya con dios.

It used to be a favorite of my dad's, and whenever I came to visit, we would always stop in. I had heard it had gone downhill, but I decided to give it another shot because I always enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, what I experienced this last visit was disheartening and unprofessional. Last week, I ordered a couple of meals with plenty of time to pick them up before a football game. When I arrived, the girl behind the counter asked the cook if the order was ready, and he said no. The two of them then got into an argument in front of customers about when she was supposed to press a button in the system to notify Grubhub that the food was ready. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. They apologized and told me they hadn't even started the food yet, so it would be another 15-20 minutes. I waited patiently in my car, went back in, and the food was finally hot, so I rushed home. Once I opened my meal, I realized they gave me the wrong order. Instead of the ziti and eggplant meal I ordered, they gave me plain baked ziti -- and it was very dry. I called immediately, and the girl told me they could remake it, but only if I drove all the way back. After already waiting an extra 20 minutes, I asked if there was another option. She said they could offer a gift certificate, but only when the manager returned. She promised the manager would call me. I never heard from anyone. The next day I called again and was told the manager wouldn't be in until Wednesday. I waited, and Wednesday came and went with no follow-up at all. For a $20 order, the situation could have been handled so easily. Instead, I listened to staff arguing, received the wrong meal, and then got zero accountability or customer service afterward. They even tried to blame the Grubhub system until they finally admitted they could see I did order eggplant and ziti. What happened to simply taking care of the customer? We've been coming here for years, but after this experience, we won't be back. Plenty of other Italian restaurants know how to treat people better.
