The drivers speed through neighborhoods with children. The staff is rude. They smoke while in deliveries. Unprofessional.

Great seafood. Great view…read more The main building looks like a freezer warehouse. The outdoor view is worth the drive, and the seafood is great. We got rich yummy chowder bursting with plump little clams. And a pile of shrimp. We ate on the deck overlooking a peaceful inlet of the Homosassa River in FL. Cold beer was icing on the cake. It can get a little crowded. We were so relaxed, we spent a little more than we intended. But no regrets.

Our camping group came here Sunday evening for our last dinner get together since majority of the…read moregroup already left that day. My husband and I weren't impressed. We wanted to make the most of our last day camping so we decided to come here for seafood with everyone else. I don't know why people rave about this place. It's like a hole in the wall seafood out in the middle of nowhere. I guess this is where the locals come to eat. Oh yeah, it's CASH ONLY. I ordered the crab leg dinner and my husband ordered the full size platter of grilled shrimp. When we got there, everyone was outside sitting down. We went to sit down with our 8 month old son who was in his car seat and someone asked if we ordered and we said no? Apparently you had to order from the bar. We didn't know. We're not locals lol. When we got our food, my crab legs didn't come out steaming hot. And what they gave me to open the crab legs was a joke. They give you a small wooden hammer and a stick to open the crab legs. I was really pissed. Someone who's eaten crab legs before, we don't use that!!! I don't mind working for my dinner but DAMN!! So luckily, my husband had his multitool with him and I was able to use that to crack open my crab legs. When I took the first few bites, they were soooo under seasoned!!! It almost tasted like straight up cardboard!! My husband insisted I eat since he has to keep an eye on our son because I didn't want to put him car seat on the ground and he had to hold his carrier since it was sitting on the seat, and it didn't help when there was hurricane force winds blowing through. He didn't get to eat majority of his grilled shrimp. As a NON-LOCAL, don't waste your time or your money coming here for seafood. Especially since they give you the crappiest and cheesiest tools for your crab legs. I ended up asking my hubby to stop by somewhere on the way back to our campground so I can eat some real food. I was really disappointed with this place.

I had read the history of the restaurant prior to going, this was our second visit as the first was just ok. The history on the Internet states it's a veteran owned business. Food on first visit was decent nothing to write home about. The German potato cakes were very small and thin not hearty like I remember from being stationed in Germany. The smash burger was ok but not real warm. Second trip we went for dinner. Ordered two red wines both glasses were served in "Christmas" accent wine glasses, and both glasses of wine bad and tested like vinegar. No we didn't ask for new our mistake. My wife ordered pierogis and I ordered a ribeye medium rare. Pierogis were decent and hot but definitely not homemade. The ribeye came out cooked medium, in my opinion overdone. Ordered their key lime "famous pie" not really good actually tasted like a pie from Sysco. When we got our bill I asked if they had a military discount since the restaurant is veteran owned, waiter said no, I said that's odd since your owner is a veteran. He had no reply. Overall out of 10 I'd give it a 6. That is our last visit.

The service was so friendly. Our server Maddie knew the entire menu and treated us fantastically. They added a gluten free and vegan menu. For Lil old homosassa....wow. the pierogis were delicious with perfectly roasted veggies. We also had the Mahi and wahoo fish dip. Some people did not enjoy it, but its a classic fish dip and I thought it was fresh. I had the chicken BLT and I loved it. Gourmet sandwhich. I tasted the parmesano shrimp and the fish. Holy Moly it was delicious, flakey and buttery. We definitely would recommend this. Its not a fancy place, its easy and casual but so delicious. Next time hopefully we can enjoy sitting out back.

Two Guys must have been thrown out of Italy!…read more Take a look at this Caesar salad and guess how much they charged me. Now take a look at this "calzone" and guess how much they charged for that! Let's start with the Caesar salad. As you can see from the photos, it consisted of what looked like three wilted, browning leaves of romaine lettuce that didn't even fill one inch of the to-go container. The very next night we ordered a Caesar salad from a popular steak hoagie restaurant in Brooksville, and for only $5.24 we received enough fresh salad to fill three salad bowls. What do you think the Two Guys salad cost? $7? $8? $8.99? Almost $9.00 for three limp, wilted and rotting leaves of romaine lettuce. Unbelievable. Now, on to the "calzone." A traditional calzone is filled with cheeses and other ingredients, with the marinara sauce served on the side for dipping--not baked inside. It also typically contains a generous amount of ricotta cheese. As you can see from the photos, the ricotta was almost nonexistent. To make matters worse, when we arrived in the pouring rain to pick up our order, the employee told us they had entered our order incorrectly and had made a pizza instead of a calzone. We would have happily taken the pizza and been on our way, but we were told the calzone was already in the oven and would be ready shortly. My husband came back out to the car to wait, and about 15 minutes later we received a call that it was ready. When we finally opened the bag at home, this is what we found. This was supposed to be a Caesar salad and a calzone with onions, broccoli, and meatballs. Instead, we received a soggy, sauce-filled mess with very little ricotta, along with the saddest excuse for a Caesar salad I've ever been served. For the prices they charge, the quality was incredibly disappointing. Between the poor ingredients, the incorrect order, the extra wait, and the finished product, this was one of the most disappointing takeout meals we've had. This was our first time at Two Guys and we won't be returning.
