Went to this location on Sunday mostly because of the NASCAR promo going on but mainly to get our fix of the new Mocha coffee freezes. So addictive! They are fantastic. Anyway when we got there the discount wasn't in the app for some reason. The manager stepped in and gave us coupons that actually were better than if we had used the app promo! The guy making the shakes is an excellent employee! He's waited on us before and he takes pride in his work. The manager went above and beyond to help us. This Hardees location has been open for years. Located in front of Springs Plaza that has a Publix store and on busy US Hwy 19, it's easy to find. Not all Hardees has the Red Burrito franchise attached to them but this one does. So there's more options for your taste buds. Feel like American burgers and fries or Mexican food like Tacos and Burritos? This restaurant covers them all. Their burgers are a solid choice. Called thick burgers- they're a third pound of meat offered with different toppings from the usual lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles to mushroom and Swiss or barbeque. They're very good and the price is right, especially when there's a coupon!! Other sandwiches that Hardees offer and also very good. Their chicken sandwiches are one of my favorites. Grilled or breaded- both satisfy your craving. Chili dogs are my favorite. Really good chili sauce with diced onions. A couple of chili dogs and fries make great quick lunch. Red Burrito tacos and burritos are in my humble opinion just as good or slightly better than Taco Bell. They even have a decent Taco Salad! But the best thing that Hardees offers is lettuce wrapped sandwiches for those of us limiting our carbs. Any sandwich from burgers, chicken to their new Roast Beef sandwiches- which come with Horsey sauce and BBQ sauce and they're delicious!! On our last visit my hubby and I ordered their Roast Beef sandwiches wrapped in lettuce and were extremely pleased with the portion size and flavor. We will definitely order more in the near future. Once in a blue moon we do get their breakfast. Our favorite is their breakfast platter that comes with eggs, sausage, bacon or ham, potato rounds, biscuit with gravy. We customize their platter to our diet and it's very good! Another good choice is their smoked sausage sandwich. Something that other fast food places don't offer! The staff on the most part is efficient and friendly. Every once in awhile you could encounter a bad Apple but I don't judge everyone by that one person's attitude! I ordered on the hardees app went in told them I had an online order for 3pm gave them my name they said NOPE sorry no order and NO FUTURE order either. Told me to go home and see what happen 40 minutes away. Called back an hour later no one answered the phone several times. Finally got through they said the order came in AFTER THEY TOLD ME TO GO HOME. I asked why didnt you say wait a few minutes when I was there? they didnt care and said file a complaint with corporate and also get your money back from them. The place has gotten better as there was a change in management just lately. The thick burgers are great and the bacon Velveeta patty melt 1/4-1/2-1/3 pound its fantastic. Monster thickburger is a mouth full 2/3 pound hamburger wow can just get this down. The 5 piece hand breaded chicken tenders are the best anywhere, onion rings to die for. Some of the best French fries, hand dipped ice cream shakes. Can't forget some of the best breakfast sandwiches available. Negative part is the restaurant needs remodeled. read more

So today was my last day working at Hardy's cause I had found a new job. Everything was going normal like usually and I was working as efficient as I always do. We had myself another employee and another employee who self identifies as a man on the crew this day. I was in drive through, they employed identifying as a man who was on front counter, and one of our managers was in the back cooking food because we had to send our cook on break. After we had had this rush, I said, man. We shouldn't have sent our cook on break because we probably wouldn't have had that bad of a rush time with it. Then the employee who identifies as a man proceeded to disrespect me in a very derogatory tone by stating. Oh, is that why maybe if you would do your d*** job and not stand and drive through all day, this wouldn't have happened. Although this is the same employee that has already had a right up or 2 since I have been applied and working there for only a month now. And this employee also continues to put third chest in my chest and get into my face and physically assault me. So me being me and I am manic diagnosis Earth different in myself verbally and told her or him to get the f*** out of my face. The manager tells me to stop and me just verbally defending myself. Stated a couple more things, and then the situation diffused. At this point, my manager on duty asked me what had happened, I had said that I was just respected. Because I had stated an opinion About work being more efficient if we hadn't sent our cook on break yet, and the front counter employee has disrespected me and then the manager proceeded to jump on me and say that's not why I'm fast. Who do you think trained to cook and I was like? Wow, all I was stating was an opinion. So a long story short. I am now being put under as unsubordinate. And no longer allowed to reapply at the company. Even though I had received a tip today for being such a good employee from a customer and had nothing but great. Results from customer feedback I even was offered a new job and to why I am leaving this restaurant by 2 customers eating lunch because they saw how great of a job I was doing I feel completely wrong in this situation I feel assaulted and I feel like I am being punished for something that I did not cause. It is completely unfair unjust and when my manager called me on the phone after I had already clocked out the gym of the store. She wouldn't even let me get my 2 cents in all she wanted to do was call me and let me know that she's going to put me under a sponsor board and it so I will not be able to reapply to the store I feel like they did this on purpose because I had found a new job. I feel like I have been completely wronged in this situation. The food there is alright not the best, but the employees. There are completely uncompetent when it comes to customer service and communicative skills working with others. Except for a few good employees under the names of joy, Gino Jessica, and a few others, I didn't get their names. Also, the GM Joanne states that she speaks broken English. Cause she's from Puerto Rico, and that's why she doesn't talk that well and nicely. If you ask me, she just doesn't try hard enough and her customer service skills are 0 starred. So if you're looking for some mediocre food and some really poor service go on down to the Homosassa Hardy's. In store service is very slow. We waited over 20 minutes for a shake and onion rings. Manager on duty seemed to ignore the fact that patrons were waiting. If I have to wait 20 minutes for onion rings, let me know before I pay and give me the choice to wait or not. The drive up lines were long and I had the feeling drive up was getting priority. read more

Must be a new cook making breakfast sandwiches last 2 visits the biscuit sandwiches are dripping with grease. Takes 4 napkins to hold the biscuit when you open the wrapper it is just sopping wet with grease. Bring back the other cook who ever that was made a fantastic sandwich. read more
