First time: cost~$80 with tip: 1large supreme pizza, cheesy bread, large salad. Second time: cost~$100 with tip: family meal - baked ziti, salad, bread and added 12 meatballs and a medium supreme pizza. Impressions: food is well cooked, well seasoned overall. Good value for price. Pizza toppings are plentiful sauce is robust and crust is crispy where it should be. The ziti needed more cheese in my opinion but was plentiful. The bread that came with it was delicious ( could we get more?) salad was fresh and the dressing is homemade ( Cesar). The group agreed the meatballs were the best anyone has ever had. The family dinners serve what they say they serve. Excellent bargain. Pizza prices not worth delivery service cost.

Our pizza was delivered through an outside delivery service, and unfortunately it arrived tipped over, with the pizza folded in half and the grease spilled to one side. We had even left the driver a nice tip, so it was pretty disappointing. We called the store and spoke with Mark. He immediately took responsibility for making sure we were taken care of--even though the problem occurred during the outside delivery. He had a fresh pizza made and then went WAY above and beyond! Mark personally delivered the replacement pizza to our home himself. What impressed us just as much was how he handled the entire situation. Mark answers the phone himself, takes the time to speak with his customers, listens, and genuinely wants to make sure they are happy. There was no rushing us off the phone or making excuses. He simply focused on making things right. Mistakes and delivery problems happen. What makes a business stand out is how they respond when they do. Mark turned a disappointing experience into one that made us want to continue being Hungry Howie's of Spring Hill customers. Thank you, Mark. Your customer service did not go unnoticed, and Hungry Howie's is fortunate to have a manager who cares this much about his customers.

By the time I order, jump in the car, and get there, the pizza is ready and hot. Totally fresh and eating it while it's steaming hot is extra delicious. I used to get pizza at another pizza chain and was satisfied until Hungry Howie's was recommended to me. There is a difference in the base crust for sure and I'm told the topping weights are the same for the second, third, etc toppings, compared to some other companies that diminish the oz. weights after the first topping is installed.

The order was not ready, but a short wait of maybe 15 minutes was understandable. It is a small place, where everything is made fresh & they were busy between phone orders and pickups for a very large order. They are friendly and constantly working. The pizza we ordered was delicious & so freshly made, that steam was coming off of it & it was still hot when we got it home. Zeppolies we ordered were kind of chewy, but understandable because we ate the pizza first, they had cooled. Will definitely be back.

I have never reviewed because while the pizza is good and the food is good the service has always been mediocre. Just kind of what is expected and honestly that is pretty normal for a pizza place. Today put a bad taste in my mouth. Joe our server sees us walk in with my two kids and you can see the change of demeanor when we say we are eating in. Again nothing we are unused to with two young kids we kind of always get mid or poor service, because they assume we are going to be a mess, loud and don't tip well. While we were sitting his regulars came in and boy what a flip of the coin. Very attentive. While they were sitting he shared a story about how he went to a restaurant and his server gave poor service. Didn't fill his glass for 12 minutes. How he was half way through his meal before she noticed and her excuse was she didn't see the glass. He was critiquing how you have to be more observant and attentive. How he is a server and he gets being busy, but you still need to pay attention to your surroundings. Well I ordered my daughter spaghetti with the sauce and meatball on the side. He brought it with the sauce and meatball on top and his excuse was he didn't hear me. He then didn't offer or refill my drink once. Infact because of his story I made a point to lift my glass when he came over and he still didn't refill it. Well over 20 minutes with an empty glass. He had 3 tables and one was regulars. The icing to my grip I also ordered a Diet Pepsi which is what was on the fountain but it was definitely a Pepsi Zero, all my fellow diet soda drinkers know, there is a difference and we have a preference. If your ok with good food but mediocre service it's fine, but don't expect more.
