Had the tooth been properly evaluated before starting the procedure, this could have been avoided and my daughter would not have had to endure an unnecessary injection. After numbing her, the dentist repeatedly pulled at the tooth but was unable to remove it. My daughter is now in significant pain following the appointment. Watching her go through that experience was extremely upsetting. Based on what I witnessed, I have serious concerns about the judgment and care provided. I do not feel comfortable returning to this office, and I intend to explore my options, including speaking with a medical malpractice attorney.

There is no organization or professionalism at the front desk and sadly that reflects on the provider herself. I left a review earlier this week explaining that the front office lacks organization and while the dentist is amazing. It creates a very poor patient experience. They tell people they are checked in, and do not check them in. Take the patients in reverse order of arrival and appointments. After reflecting I actually removed the post 2 hours later planning to speak with the office when they called with my child's Referrel the next day. They didn't call and asked us to find a new dentist today. This practice has gone down hill, I'm not sure if they have trouble keeping staff, just hire family for the front desk who doesn't have the appropriate experience or if they just don't value their patients time because they have too many patients in the practice and can't manage how many patients they schedule at once. My child asked to start with a new dentist after we left the appointment - so the feeling is mutual . I think it's fair for people looking for new dentist understand that if they have feedback. You will be dropped as a patient. Best wishes to Dr Carolyn and her practice!

This is my first review for a practice I'm just starting up with, although my initial impression is…read morequite good. Dr. Hannawi had a tough task - he just acquired the practice of a dentist I've used (and loved) since 1989. During this transition we are still being seen in the "old" North Attleboro office, to give us all time to transition to the new relationship and slightly different approach to dental care. On my first visit, which my former dentist had scheduled to replace some older fillings, I already observed many instances of the change. The first was waiting nearly 10 minutes before being seated in the chair, which had never happened before. This was possibly due to using two computer systems to manage my record, possibly due to different times each practice allots for certain procedures, or maybe the extra time needed to meet every patient for the first time. Dr. Hannawi used a few different tools from my former dentist - a newer imaging system, a hand held small camera that could take digital images of my teeth, and a thin headlamp that was cool but would have frightened my kids when they were little. He also had a different view about replacing these fillings. He thought that even though they are both old, it was premature to do anything with one. As for the other, his recommendation was a bit more aggressive: the filling is large in relation to the tooth, so cap it rather than fill it. I already have two crowns but prefer to keep my own teeth as long as possible. When I indicated that, we moved ahead to the filling. There was a difference here too; only amalgam was used, not the silver filling material, regardless of whether we were filling a front or interior tooth. Since my insurance supports amalgam only for front teeth, my out of pocket cost for the service was three times more than it would have been with my former dentist. Dr Hannawi and his assistant Maria have great bedside manner and work efficiently together. I look forward to continuing to see them and eventually moving to their usual office in Attleboro.

He takes the time to answer my questions. Morning is the time to go. The wait times shouldn't be bad if you go later in the day, but if you're there at or before 10am, you probably won't be waiting at all.

He used to be one of those people who avoided seeing the dentist unless there's pain. He thinks they're all the same, but they're not! My previous dentist would point out certain problems, like a chipped tooth and receding gum lines but never bothered to suggest any treatments other than an expensive mouth guard to keep me from grinding my teeth at night. It really annoyed me that he made a joke about my chipped tooth. One of my fillings started to wear down and became sharp like a dull saw. Luckily my previous dental office had a long wait for openings and I managed to book an appointment with Dr. Yousef for an earlier appointment! After a cleaning and assessment, he noticed my chipped tooth, receding gum line and immediately had treatment plans in mind. Dr. Yousef fixed my chipped tooth, smoothed down my chain saw molar, and filled in the deep recesses of my receding gum lines, which would avoid Gum Graft Surgery in the future. He did all of this in less than one hour!!! I was amazed!!! Also, I love that he's polite and respectful and doesn't make stupid jokes like my previous dentist, even though he's not a very talkative man. Btw...I opted for no local anesthesia because I hate having a numb mouth for hours. I really appreciated how gentle, quick, and efficient he was.
