Ted Mallon the store manager was so easy to work with. The other employees were great, answering any questions I had and loading all of the materials that I bought. I will come here first for any building project from now on.

The random collection of goods, including artwork, was interesting to peruse through. I don't know that I saw anything was particularly a good deal in terms of price, but to be honest I was merely window shopping and didn't really have plans to purchase anything. However, I did see a few things that I liked and probably would have considered a purchase if I were actually seeking to decorate. However, I reached out to them because they were one of the only places in possession of a specific material I discovered and badly wanted (which is discontinued and in short shrift) for a long-awaited counter replacement. A representative contacted me to inform me that they only installed in their state (which is to be expected for these services). However, the rep also located a similar business very close to where I live, a business that carries this line of products, and explained they might have the product. I spent a lot of time looking for this brand near me, and didn't find this business- which is why I was emailing SC from NYS. I never would have found it on my own (I am a relentless searcher and hadn't), and they didn't have to take time out to help out someone who can't use their services. But they did. This is a long review for a relatively to-the-side-of-the-point anecdote, but it's the kind of anecdote I'd like to know when deciding who to let touch my modest but well-loved house. This store has almost every kitchen gadget that you can imagine. They have a couple of walls full of all sorts of kitchen gadgets. One thing really cool about this place is buying appliances. If you don't like the appliance that you've bought.... even if you've already used it several times ....YOU CAN BRING IT BACK AND GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!! I think that's an awesome thing they offer. I just recently started juicing and I wasn't sure which juicer I wanted. It was great buying it from Bed Bath and Beyond, because I had the security of knowing that if I messed up on my selection... I could try something else. Their staff is always helpful too. They always ask if they can help you find what you need. I like getting service in stores. Kinda rare there days. They sell kitchen stuff, bedroom stuff, bathroom stuff, pictures, rugs, candles, Yankee candles, picture frames.... AND all those "As seen on TV" items. I can spend at least an hour every time I come in just looking at all the cool things they have. Also the store almost always has a 20% off coupon going on which helps a lot .... Especially competing with Target next door. This is a great store to come to when shopping for yourself or others. It's also a place that a lot of couples getting married register at. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. They ran the direction of the counter in all different directions,…read morenothing matching. Kitchen has it changing from left-right to front-back in the middle of the counter. All four of the bathroom vanities run in different directions and the backsplashes do not match the vanity tops. One side runs the same the other is turned 90 degrees. They never gave us a layout. The stone wasn't sealed so water marks showed everywhere until we sealed it ourselves. There are tape marks on the kitchen surface. They sent three people with bottle of Bar Keepers Friend to fix it. Didn't work, still have tape marks. What a mess they made of some beautiful and expensive quartzite stone.

I usually love Ollie's, but unfortunately, this one trip kind of missed the mark. The store was an…read moreabsolute wreck and looked like a bomb went off inside it. On one aisle, there were so many items shoved onto the shelves that you couldn't even tell what they were, and it would have been hopeless to try and sort through them to find one that you liked. In another area of the store, there were just ripped boxes placed on top of a shelf, and again, you couldn't even tell what the merchandise was, and it looked very disorganized. In the rug and carpet section, it was perhaps the most disorganized that I've ever seen a store be, and there was even a carpet sticking out into the aisle, making it impossible to pass through. I know that you don't really go to Ollie's for an organized and aesthetically pleasing shopping experience, but this one trip was a little too excessive. Luckily, this was the first time that this has happened to me at this Ollie's, so I'm hoping that it was just a one-time thing, and I'll still be back in the future.
