We could choose another set of furniture or they could take a couple hundred dollars almost $4000 set that we had w have a discount on just a and it was we were told that was possible, but after that, the warranty would be voided on all the other furniture because we accepted it as is I explained to the lady that I did not seem fair and she really didn't care or any other options for us so I requested for a full refund and again we'll have to set up another day for them to come get the furniture. She said that was fine. Didn't really matter to could tell it's just a giant chain company that really doesn't care about the customer service and I will never walk in there again.

    On April 7, 2023, I purchased a sofa sleeper as well as other furniture. I also bought a furniture…read moreprotection plan. Within 1 1/2 yea of normal wear (or less than normal wear since the sleeper is in a guest room), the sleeper became unstable and the frame broke. My thought is that the sleeper was of low quality. On December 5, 2024, I filed an online insurance claim. There was a note that it could take up to 10 days for a response. On December 9, I received an email notifying me that within 5 business days, they would let me know if my claim was eligible. On December 10, I received an email saying they they are identifying a technician to complete the inspection, diagnose or repair the sleeper sofa. On December 17, I received an email saying that the claim has been approved and authorized for service and that a technician was being identified and the person will reach out in the next few business days. On December 21, I received an email with the time for the service technician to come. There was only one date and time choice (December 23--9 am-1:00 PM window) so I accepted it. The technician arrived on December 23 (Monday) as planned. After looking at the sofa, he said that he would file a report that the sofa needs to be repaired. I should expect a call from Rooms to Go either Wednesday or Thursday (Note: this is Christmas Eve and Christmas). He said if they did not call me by Thursday, I should call them. My complaint is that Rooms to Go was quick to sell the insurance policy and slow to respond. It has been nearly three weeks and the sofa is still broken--awaiting whatever the next step is from Rooms to Go. This whole process is inefficient and not customer friendly.

    My first ever experience in needing to buy furniture, since I needed to replace my previous couch…read moreand decided to see if there were any good deals going on for the New Year. Was greated at the door by a sales associate and was not pushy on trying to sell us anything (as I knew I only was going to get a couch). She had told us to let her know when I was ready to make a purchase and she would ring up my sale. What I liked was that the couch I eventually bought was cheaper than the sale price of where I was looking at prior to coming to Rooms To Go. The only downfall is that they do not keep inventory at the store and your purchase needs to be delivered to your home (unless they are discontinuing a particular item and if the last piece they have is the floor display - you can take home yourself). Their warehouse is in Atlanta, so picking u is not an option (it is, but for me - since I was only getting a couch and the price pre-tax / pre-delivery was under $500 - the delivery charge was $55 - $60). Not sure if the delivery charge is based in purchase price and it amount of items you are getting and / or assembly. Also, Saturday's are a busy delivery day. I made my purchase on Janyary 1st, and since I work during the day, I wouldn't be around for weekday delivery and the first available Saturday delivery was January 16th. They give you a delivery window, usually a day or two before delivery - which could be a four hour window.
