Chocolate Chip Muffin

Didn't have a chance to go in person, but my family ordered some to home and from what I tried was pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety. Would get more from here again if in a need for something sweet.

Key lime tart

Cute storefront and very aesthetic bakery items. Key lime tart was flavorful but hard to eat. The filling was sweet, not too sour, but the crust was about 1cm thick- impossible to break with a metal spoon. Ended up eating half of the crust, and that was enough to go with all the filling.

I am writing this review having only been here one time. I noticed that they have a nice seating area here so decided to come for a snack and to get some work done. Would definitely recommend if you work from home or are a student. Not too noisy and comfortable seats. They have a huge selection of bakery items. A ton of options and i noticed a food menu as well. The vanilla cake pop was really good almost like an elevated version of the Starbucks one. Cute that they have those, don't see cake pops at many coffee shops/bakeries. I had a good experience here but have heard mixed reviews from others.

Flan with cold brew coffee

Came again today for the flan ! That is really good flan they have . Being Hispanic and growing up eating that and still doing so in my adult life . I can say their flan is a banger . That means it's good ! The place is super clean including the bathrooms . The staff is super friendly. The service is good and the staff is attentive.

Honestly, the bakery is very pretty and in a very popular Chestnut Hill mall. Service was a little slow and lacked enthusiasm. The items were displayed very pretty and they were very pricey. The cakes we got were large chocolate cake, and the carrot cake. Both cakes were good, but not great to be honest. I like that they weren't overly sweet, but it felt they with something you can get in any commercial bakery like in a supermarket. I didn't really feel that there was anything special about them other than they look pretty. No one could tell me if they use fresh ingredients what type of flour, etc. but seeing that was my first time I'm willing to go back and try something else like like a macaron.

SL Strawberry Shortcake

I love strawberry shortcake but I cannot do extremely sweet icing. In early December, I had a craving for something sweet on a late night so I ordered the strawberry shortcake slice from Mia's. The delivery was quick. The cake came in a small white box with parchment paper as to not smudge the cake which I appreciated. The cake was moist and had fresh strawberries in between layers. The cream icing tasted like whipped cream frosting. It was delicate and refreshing and when I finished this slice, I wished I had gotten the entire cake. Go check it out!

Mediocre salted caramel and hazelnut cupcakes.
Kelly F.

I'm reviewing Hingham location. Assuming it's a chain. Cupcakes are about $4 each. They're mediocre and overpriced. I would go as far to say the salted caramel is terrible. Stale cake with a hint of lemon flavor and the frosting was gross. In fact there was nothing salted caramel about it. The nutella one was more edible but I would assume it would have a hazelnut filling or topping. Just chocolate cupcake with a chocolate frosting and maybe a half teaspoon of a chocolate substance in the middle. Literally no Nutella. I bought 4 cupcakes. Complete waste of money. Drive to cupcake Charlie's instead or even the bakery section of whole food or market basket. They look a lot better than they taste. I would pass on this "bakery".

10 inch round buttercream vanilla cake--delicious! Guests loved it. Decoration doesn't do the cake justice!

The cappuccino was lukewarm and too milky, the molasses cookie was stale, and the service was lackluster.

It has a spoonful of mango syrup which enhances the shaved snow. So definitely pour on that delicious mango syrup! The mango is so fresh and it is creatively put together to enjoy! The ice cream croffle is another great choice to try! The strawberry ice cream is mixed in with fresh fruit pieces and is mixed in a flavorful texture to the croffle. Overall, I am a big fan of Oasit's and it is a favorite dessert spot! I have always enjoyed desserts where the dessert is "not too sweet" and all the desserts here were delicious. I highly recommend this cozy dessert spot to go with friends, family or date. The staff is very nice and friendly. I like the ambiance and environment that is filled with anime.

We trooped from the North End to Chestnut Hill to check out White Mountain Creamery. We arrived around 11:30pm and super happy they close late, at 12am every day!! The staff were all super nice and helpful. All of their ice cream is homemade and you can definitely taste it when you try their ice cream. We all got small sizes: one with a scoop of cake batter + scoop of oreo, one strawberry, and one orange sherbet. They all were delicious and definitely satisfied our ice cream craving. Their interior aesthetic made me feel like I was stopping in at an ice cream joint in the middle of New Hampshire or Vermont haha I loved it. I also noticed they do mini ice cream cakes... ADORABLE. I'm most definitely coming back to try their mini ice cream cakes & for more ice cream!

The mochi was so chewy and fresh, the matcha was rich and creamy, the strawberries provided a hint a tartness that gave balance, and the butter crunch made it the perfect texture combination. It doesn't get better than this. I think about this place often. You have the option of buying pre-made mochi. It was my first time trying taro pork floss mochi. I felt like the sweet cream, taro, and mochi was good, but it was sweet in comparison to the pork floss? the pork floss is supposed to make it savory, but the sweetness overpowers the pork floss, so I found it to be odd. Depending on the day and time you go, there could be a wait, but it's so worth it. I would go here again and again.

The mochi itself was delicious (although a little messy) and i definitely would make the trip for more of it! I personally am not a mochi connoisseur, but my friends I was with are and they said it was "life changing". The bakery itself is pretty small and there's not a lot of seating, but it's a fun vibe and definitely busy!
