We love stopping here for breakfast! Super fast and super delicious. Place to stand and eat inside as well as a little bit of outdoor seating. Staff are always super friendly!

We tried this new bakery that is around the corder. Kudos for having birthday cakes left on a late sunday afternoon! My wife went and there were 3 cakes left, so she got this two tone for about $33-ish. The box was nice and the cake looks nice. Price is in-line with other bakeries. The cake sadly did not deliver on taste and experience. It has a LOT of butter cream helping form the cake. Turns out we don't like butter cream...at least not this much. The actual cake portions were just okay, not bad, not great. There is a thin later of jam or something between the slices that our kids did not like, but if you want a little tart, then you'll enjoy it. I would've preferred fruit or something inside. Overall, we didn't enjoy this cake. Not sure if we'll go back (earlier in the day) to see if they have other offerings...we'll see.

The pastries and food were excellent; however, the coffees we order were practically all milk.

Picked up sugar cookies and croissants for the family and they were very good! A tad pricey but it may be the area I was visiting!!

Amazing place within walking distance. OMG. Opens at 6 am. Easy in and out. Tip generously. And they have coffee.

Incredibly flavorful coffee! Mocha coffee tasted like warm chocolate milk... but that might be what a mocha is.. ‍

Lovely bakery and a great addition to Watertown. Coffee is weak, and oddly not as good as their Belmont location. Otherwise a great spot!

This is a small cute cafe with only 4 seats inside, so be prepared to order everything to go if it's busy. I wanted to order everything, but we ended up getting the earl grey and apple cream puff, matcha red bean cream puff, cheese sausage bun, and a slice of hojicha basque cheesecake. For drinks we had an iced banana bread latte and a hot black sesame cloud latte. Everything was good, but the standouts were the cream puffs and the black sesame latte (it's nutty and rich). The cheese sausage bun was also really good but it was so tiny it left me wanting more. The cream puffs have a texture reminiscent of melon pan from Japan, and the cream is light, fluffy, not too sweet, and abundant. I would come back for cream puffs and to try some other things on the regular menu!

They also open on Weekdays except Sunday where they have more your typical Chinese bakery goods and some fun flavors too! I absolutely love this place and the people here! Their baked goods are all so good. They're sweet but not too sweet and are light. I keep coming here weekly because I love their stuff but also coz on the weekend they like to try new things and I love that whatever they make always turns out so so sooooo good. The two bakers that run this place are so nice and they know what they're doing. They also have some staples that they always have every week. Their lattes are also so good and fun too! Delicious and fun sweets with kind and sweet bakers too what more can you ask for! I wish I had a photo of their stuff but I always eat it too fast.

I don't find it pretentious; rather, I find it humble and unique in the way it serves up phenomenal pastries that tickle every single corner of your palate. From the croissants, the turnovers, to the delectable desserts or macarons, not one detail is spared in the intricate process of making each item stand out. They sure make the French proud (as some of the patrons openly brag about this being closest to "home"). The friendliness that they greet you as you enter to the simple smiles and gestures accommodating any and every possible question you may have is truly what seals the deal for this spot. As I sit and slowly put away whatever pastry I decided to indulge in the moment, sipping on my cafe au lait, I get to watch as different locals enter and go, chatting up a storm with each other like long lost loves, before disappearing in delight with full bags in hand. Can't wait to be back. Definitely now a weekend staple.

Whenevever one of my friends asks for wedding vendor recommendations, I always tell them to go with…read moreThe Icing On The Cake for their wedding cake! Why? A few reasons: 1) Tasting! About 6 months before your wedding, book a cake tasting to come in and try a variety of flavors, look through their designs, and customize your perfect wedding cake. 2) Flavors! Everything is super tasty and moist - no bland, dry wedding cake here. For our wedding cake, we chose a different flavor for each tier: chocolate raspberry, coconut, chocolate hazelnut, and golden raspberry. 3) Designs! They have a great variety to choose from - from traditional to modern. For ours, we went with a silver brushstrokes design on the top part of each tier, and our florist (Central Square Florist) designed cascading fresh flowers on the cake at the venue. 4) Value! Pricing for this high quality is super reasonable, and they can deliver to your venue. On top of that, if you bring in a photo of your cake after the big day, they will give you a FREE anniversary cake, any flavor (we picked carrot cake), designed like your wedding cake! This is an incredibly sweet gesture that we greatly appreciated. No need to save that top tier in your freezer - get a fresh cake, and enjoy celebrating your first year of marraige together!
