What a diamond in the ruff bakery! We stopped by to pick up some sweets for a party. We had never been to this bakery so we weren't sure about the quality of sweets. We were looking for classic bakery items but nothing too sweet. We were so pleasantly surprised by Quebrada's goods! We ordered 6 cupcakes and 6 cookies. Everything was incredibly delicious. Our favorites were the mocha and vanilla cupcakes and the chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies! The prices were reasonable as well. Next time I would love to purchase a 6 inch chocolate cake!

Nothing I love more than the smell of fresh baked yumminess early in the morning! Buttery croissants with all sorts of fruity filling to be exact! They have all their baked goods right in front as you enter inside this little bakery so be prepared to tell them you're still looking because you're just overwhelmed by their vast selection of goodies. Apple Croissant- These croissants are massive with lots of fluff. Once you get in the middle of this flakey goodness, the filling has these fresh bits and pieces of apple. Raspberry Croissant- Sweet with the right amount of tart inside of this buttery pastry. Cinnamon Almond Croissant- This was probably the only one I didn't like. It was dry and a bit on the harsher side with the cinnamon and sliced almond so just have a drink ready for this one. Overall Service: As I was perusing through their selections, it felt like they were rushing me a bit by constantly asking me if I decided on anything yet. I probably said I was still looking 3 times before they stopped asking. Even though they were upbeat, it's too early for that at 6 in the morning. Other than that, they were nice.

I ordered 30 mini cupcakes for my son's graduation banquet. They were absolutely delicious! Everyone wanted to know where I got them. Currant scones and Hazelnut coffee are also the bomb!

Excellent food and great customer service. Tried the chocolate croissant and it's warm and amazing. Crispy on the outside and nice and warm and gooey of chocolate yumminess! The muffins looked so good. I didn't get to try the walnut one but friend did and said it was good!

A recent addition to Belmont center this little sister store to the Arlington favorite brings a much needed indie bakery to the Belmont scene. I popped in recently and found a feeling of pastry deja vu- albeit offered up on a slightly smaller scale. The two pastry cases display all your usual suspects: muffins, scones, eclairs, croissants, cupcakes and cake options. Many of the goodies come in regular or petite versions- letting you adjust your sliding scale of gluttony accordingly. My wild blueberry scone and chai confirmed that this smaller storefront still delivers the same tastiness I'd come to expect from their Arlington brethren. My only qualms with this place have to do with the set-up. The store is small (no in-store seating) and there's no clear traffic pattern in place for browsing, ordering and waiting for your purchase. The day I was here it wasn't particularly crowded with 4-5 patrons in the shop at any given time. But it felt cramped. There were a few times while I was waiting to order, peering around the other customers standing idly around the counters, when I thought about just bouncing to avoid the awkwardness-- but in the end the scone won me over and proved worth the wait. Easily beating out nearby Brueggers & Starbucks in both quality and selection- this place will do well here. Just a word of advice- as Quebrada gets into their groove at this Belmont location, consider making the ordering layout more clear to customers. You want to give people every reason to come in and order, so a sign or verbal prompt about which side to order and which side to wait would be appreciated. I mean, not everyone loves scones as much as me.

Coffee was delicious, and the food options looked good too. Just a pick up spot. No washrooms or coffee-shop comfy seating.

The mini cupcakes were the perfect size (I don't like *too* much dessert, I know I'm weird), and price (less than $2!).

There is a good amount of seating in the store and free water for customers to fill themselves which I always love. The Bacon Egg and Cheese was a wise decision and priced very very well, I would definitely recommend that! My favorite sweet was the strawberry tea cake, top class that was. The donut and banana bread were also very tasty but I didn't get to eat enough of them to feel as strongly about them as I do the strawberry tea cake. I think it's assume you can't go wrong with anything you can purchase from Butternut Bakehouse,... Enjoy! The ambiance was full of energy with friendly staff and happy customers. Adding to the neighborhood feel is their bulletin board of local ads and promotions which really adds to the community feeling of this place. He shouted out that she had "contaminated" the drink and he would make a new one for the correct customer. This was all said in a loud, actorly voice so that everyone in the shop could know that He Was Displeased. Note, the "contamination" consisted of the woman a) holding the cup of hot chocolate and, b) walking to her table with it. On a previous occasion, he yelled at an older woman in her 90s because she needed to sit down on a chair while he was sweeping. He snidely told her that she should go outside if she needed to sit. Her confusion about the seating was understandable, because for some unknown reason the cafe needs to close a full hour before the bookshop (and they begin this process earlier even than that, by "helpfully" putting away the chairs and turning off the lights). I guess they sell some croissants and coffee, but honestly: who cares, given the above?

She also made my coffee in a unique way which really surprised me. They have a giant jug of iced coffee that they keep in the bottom cabinet, instead of having drip or brew. The coffee itself was pretty decent, though. My ham and cheese crepe was okay but there was not enough ham or cheese, it was mostly just egg. My friend's portion was also small but the food was good. I think I would give it another shot.

Even tucked away at the end of a strip mall, it checks all the boxes: great beer, good food, plenty of space, and a fun atmosphere. The food comes from a little food truck outside the building rather than a traditional kitchen, but don't let that fool you, everything I've had has been delicious. My boyfriend is a loyal fan of the Cloud Candy IPA (he'll order it anywhere he sees it on tap), while I can never resist the Daiquiri Hard Smoothie (I forget what it's called, but it's so tasty lol). It's dangerously good... like, "I should probably pace myself, but that's a tomorrow problem" good. The brewery itself has a lot going on. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a coffee shop tucked in the back, a private event room, and even a rock-climbing gym connected to the building, which makes for a pretty unique setup. If you're lucky, you'll even catch the canning line running while you're there, which is fun to watch and reminds you you're drinking the good stuff straight from the source. Whether you're meeting friends for a beer, hanging out for the afternoon, or introducing someone to craft beer, Mighty Squirrel is a solid choice. I'll definitely keep coming back!
