I order a hash brown and the baller breakfast sandwich. I was a little disappointed with the sandwich. It was kinda small and I wasn't wowed by how it tasted. The sandwich wasn't bad, I guess I just expected more. The ingredients didn't wow me and I think it could have been cooked better, the bacon should have been crispier and the English muffin should have been toasted more. The hash brown was really good and not at all greasy. I will definitely go back to try some of the other menu items but I don't think I will order the baller again.

I don't find it pretentious; rather, I find it humble and unique in the way it serves up phenomenal pastries that tickle every single corner of your palate. From the croissants, the turnovers, to the delectable desserts or macarons, not one detail is spared in the intricate process of making each item stand out. They sure make the French proud (as some of the patrons openly brag about this being closest to "home"). The friendliness that they greet you as you enter to the simple smiles and gestures accommodating any and every possible question you may have is truly what seals the deal for this spot. As I sit and slowly put away whatever pastry I decided to indulge in the moment, sipping on my cafe au lait, I get to watch as different locals enter and go, chatting up a storm with each other like long lost loves, before disappearing in delight with full bags in hand. Can't wait to be back. Definitely now a weekend staple.

Whenevever one of my friends asks for wedding vendor recommendations, I always tell them to go with…read moreThe Icing On The Cake for their wedding cake! Why? A few reasons: 1) Tasting! About 6 months before your wedding, book a cake tasting to come in and try a variety of flavors, look through their designs, and customize your perfect wedding cake. 2) Flavors! Everything is super tasty and moist - no bland, dry wedding cake here. For our wedding cake, we chose a different flavor for each tier: chocolate raspberry, coconut, chocolate hazelnut, and golden raspberry. 3) Designs! They have a great variety to choose from - from traditional to modern. For ours, we went with a silver brushstrokes design on the top part of each tier, and our florist (Central Square Florist) designed cascading fresh flowers on the cake at the venue. 4) Value! Pricing for this high quality is super reasonable, and they can deliver to your venue. On top of that, if you bring in a photo of your cake after the big day, they will give you a FREE anniversary cake, any flavor (we picked carrot cake), designed like your wedding cake! This is an incredibly sweet gesture that we greatly appreciated. No need to save that top tier in your freezer - get a fresh cake, and enjoy celebrating your first year of marraige together!
