    I've used this company before but this last time was a mess. The movers did not bring enough material to wrap our items even though we paid for it. We ordered extra supplies and they did not bring all of what we ordered plus the boxes they brought were used. One guy kept complaining about having to walk back and forth as if he wasn't getting paid. When I told the guys they needed to wrap the glass furniture they told me that they would when they brought to downstairs. Once we got to the new location I realized they did not wrap the items. I wrote in to customer service and never received a response. When I told them them were scratching my leather headboard and leather chairs they told me it can be wiped off. That's not how you treat customers especially returning customers. UPDATE: I just wanted to add an update to my review as of 7/28/18. The owner of the company Sergi reached out to me soon after my review to explain what occurred with my move and to try to make things right. As a business owner, I know the importance of providing good customer service and taking responsibility when things do not go as planned. I appreciate Sergi reaching out to me and apologizing for the error and, most importantly, he did not make excuses. Given that I had a wonderful experience with his company during a previous move, I will assume that my latest experience was the exception and not the rule. I will utilize his company the next time I move and I fully expect it to be another positive experience.

    On July 25th, 2020 I had the worst moving experience of my life. I was threatened and extorted by a mover from Miami Movers For Less. I was hopeful that this experience would be great when I booked the move with Rey De La Silva. Although other moving companies had quoted me a better price, I went with Miami Movers For Less, because Rey promised that I would have a stress-free move. I did not want to deal with sub contractors. He assured me that Miami Movers for Less didn't subcontract jobs out, and that my move would be with Miami Movers. However, that was not the case. They subcontracted the job. On the days leading up to my stuff arriving, I was in contact with a driver from a different company- Tony. We decided that at 9:00 am he would bring my belongings to my apartment. However, that morning he called me at 8am, ordering me (rudely) to let him into the complex. I explained to him that 8am was not our scheduled time, and he would have to wait until 9am, at which point the freight elevator would be available. Tony would need to drive his truck into the alley behind the freight elevator in order to get as close as possible to the elevator. The spot was designated for big-rig trucks, and multiple moving truck drivers had used it that week. However, Tony told me he did not feel safe driving through the alley, because of the construction he would have to pass to get to the alley. There was construction happening at the building next door. However they had blocked off the site with a perimeter, and the alley was open to the public. The construction workers weren't working on the side of the building closest to the alley.l, so he was instructed to enter the alley from the other side. However, Tony insisted that would not work, and started screaming at me. This is no manner to treat any customer, let alone a small woman like myself. Tony then insisted on walking my stuff through the unit and taking the normal elevator instead. He then demanded that if I didn't bring him an extra $400 in cash in 10 minutes he would drive away with my stuff. I notified him that I was calling the police. Tony only began to listen to our requests after I was on the phone with the 911 dispatcher, and I chose to end the call. I then paid him the $1600 balance in cash, thinking this ordeal would finally be over. But instead, Tony refused to reverse his truck to the elevator, and instead ordered me to pay him an extra $150 in cash to walk my load to the elevator. I told him to reverse the truck the extra 150 feet, but he refused. By the time my furniture was in my apartment, the ordeal still wasn't over. I asked Tony to put on a mask when entering my apartment, to prevent the spread of covid-19. Phoenix is a hot spot for covid-19, so the law states everyone must wear a mask when entering a building. Tony said he didn't have a mask, and put me at risk when performing the job. The movers from Florida had disassembled my furniture for the move, so it was Tony's job to put them together. But he refused to do this. I have never met a more lazy worker. After refusing to do the work, he became increasingly agitated (as the video shows), and tried to intimidate me to sign the paperwork. I told him I would not sign it, because he did not complete the job. He then walked out the door, and never came back. By this time it was 2 pm. I signed a contract with Miami Movers For Less, so this move and my well-being was your responsibility. Although my stuff got here, the company put me in danger, by having Tony move my things. I want the extra $150 Tony charged me back, as well as $325 for each hour (total 2.5 hours) I waited for Tony to start his job. According to the contract, that's how much I would owe Miami Movers if I had them wait for me. I want the same, as well as an additional $200 for pain, suffering, and overall lack of professionalism. This is not how any person, or paying customer should be treated. I had to hire people to reassemble the furniture Tony refused to do. Besides my experience with Tony, even the packing of my boxes weren't done to a high standard. Because of the way the movers packed my items, putting random things together, several of my items wdamaged. UPDATE: I have filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The Miami Movers refuse to take responsibility for their contractor, and the stress this has caused me.

    Timur, Tolik, and Soso did a great job with the move! The guys made everything look so easy and were fun and friendly throughout the process. These guys got stuck in the service elevator for almost an hour, but still came out ready to assist with anything needed. They were diligent to put everything in the place it needed to be and even set up the beds. Their help made the whole process of moving significantly less stressful.

    REVISED: They were able to help me obtain at least a partial reimbursement for my broken TV - better than nothing, and they responded in a timely manner. I appreciate their concern and I would use this company in the future

Due to closing issues, I had to push my move date Back 2 days. He said he'd be able to do it in the afternoon and that he would be there between 2:00 and 3:00pm depending on how the job before mine went. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day, and they didn't get to me until 6:00pm. They wanted to push it to the next day but I insisted we had to do it that day because literally all of our stuff was packed and ready to go. I ordered one truck and two movers for our two bedroom, one bath duplex. My fiance and I did a lot of moving before they even arrived, essentially just leaving the furniture for them and some boxes. Their attitude seemed Brusque but it was probably because they were just tired from however many moves they had that day. They wrapped most of my furniture carefully with blankets, but I must say I was not pleased with the way that they moved my grandfather clock. The second mover, Alex, said "well this is fragile" when looking at my clock. I was like yes that's why I hired Movers. They didn't even know you had to take the pendulum out of the clock when moving it. They refused to take my very small TV off of the wall, and told me they would have to charge extra for that which I have never heard before. That was frustrating. They made a dent in my baseboard and scratched a lot of paint in my newly painted residence, and then gave me attitude when I asked when they were going to fix it. He then begrudgingly said that he would send somebody over Saturday to fix it. That guy was nice and did an okay job. They worked very hard but I think it would have gone faster with three movers. It would have been nice to have a discount since they were over 3 hours late also. I'm not sure if I would use them again, but I'm glad that we are finally in our new place with the damage fixed (aside from the clock).

    I am a Licensed Real Estate Broker who has been working with Packing Service Inc for nearly 5…read moreyears. In April of 2014, I sold a 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bathroom 2600 square foot condominium. My seller did not live in the area and handled most of the business of selling the property remotely relying largely on myself to take care of virtually everything locally. I came across Packing Service Inc which has an online quotation system; all they required was I answer the questions and send them pictures of all of the rooms & items I needed to be moved into Storage. I was extremely impressed with their service. They (or their subcontractors who were wearing Packing Service Inc Shirts) arrived on time and within 6 hours loaded the entire apartment onto a truck. This included the dismantling of three king-size canopy beds, a half dozen couches, a table that seats 12 and all the other furniture and entertainment systems one would expect in a nearly 2 million dollar condo. Since then I have used their services several times in order to get customers of mine out of their homes in a timely manner (I specialize in short sales), most recently in the Palm Beach area where we had a lady who was recovering from a cancer operation; she was a HOARDER of very large and heavy furniture. It took 2 days, 8 men, 2 trucks and three 10x20 storage lockers. Over the years I have gotten to know the President of the company, Tony Jacob. As it turns out Packing Service Inc services more than just the Miami area; THEY SERVICE THE ENTIRE NATION through a network of more than 4,000 packing, shipping, moving & logistics companies around the country. The company's website is a one-of-a-kind system that takes the customer's order, gets the quotes from service & logistics providers local to the customer, and then books the job (which explains the Non-Refundable Deposit which I have never had a problem with). Tony is a self-made businessman who immigrated to this country with nothing 19 years ago and has built a successful business that I have come to rely on and recommend in my line of work.
