Used them for the 2nd time about a month ago and have refered them to other friends for the past 4…read moreyears. They did a great job this time, the 3 guys worked hard almost none stop for about 8 hours and without any slack time, which mean they were there doing their job and not just buying extra time. They also where very careful with our stuff, so far we have only found 1 thing that was a little damaged, but nothing major to do a claim or make it a big deal, something is bound to brake in a move. Their price has gone up significantly since we last used them, but when compared to others they were still a good price. Next time I will probably get 4 guys instead of 3 to save moving time so it's a little cheaper. I recommend them for local moves, have never used them for inter state moves. One comment to the owner was that when I got the call to confirm the quote I was surprised that the lady in the phone did not know the price list for the extra material fees when I asked her, for example how much is each tape roll. She seemed savvy about everything else except the extra fees. BTW be aware that for them to make sure everything is packed correctly they will have to wrap things here and there and use lots of tape. For example for my 3 bedroom apartment where I used about 50 plastic totes they still have to wrap furniture and other stuff and used about 14 rolls of packing tape. Imagine if you have stuff that it's not packed properly. My advise with this company or any other is for you to get plastic bins or storage boxes, makes your move so much easier and safer than used cardboard boxes.

I would not recommend EZ General Contractor based on our experience…read more We scheduled a consultation with EZ General Contractor five days in advance and provided details about the project we were looking to have completed. My husband took the morning off work specifically to be home for the scheduled consultation. EZ General Contractor canceled the appointment 20 minutes after the scheduled arrival time, explaining that the project was "too small" for them to take on. We completely understand that contractors need to take on projects that make business sense for them. What is difficult to understand is why this could not have been determined during the five days between scheduling and the appointment, particularly since we provided as many project details in advance as was allowed through their automated platform. The lack of communication and professionalism was equally disappointing. Our phone conversations ended abruptly with them hanging up on us rather than with even a basic professional courtesy. We will obviously be using another contractor for this project. More importantly, based on this experience with EZ General Contractor's communication, scheduling, and professionalism, we would not consider them for future projects, including larger ones.

Extremely Disappointed - Lost My Belongings and No Accountability…read more I moved from Miami to Los Angeles with City Movers and honestly, I'm very disappointed with how things turned out. They lost one of my boxes that had valuable items -- books, a $1000 speaker, a keyboard, mouse, projector, and cables -- worth around $2000-$2500 total. It's been a week since delivery, and it doesn't look like they're going to find it. The reason this happened is simple -- they didn't number or label the boxes with stickers like professional movers normally do. Because of that, my box just disappeared in the process. I've tried reaching out, but the communication has been poor and there's no real solution. I'll be filing a small claims lawsuit in Florida because this is unacceptable. I trusted them with my belongings, and they completely failed to handle things professionally

Ari, Judith, and the rest of their team do the absolute best job when it comes to delivering…read moreexactly what their clients are looking for! I needed a new shower for the house my wife & I had just purchased, and Ari and his team showed up and completed the job in a record amount of time! Not only that, but Ari allowed me the opportunity to select & purchase my OWN supplies for the job, in order to remain transparent and prove that he was not charging me extra for the supplies I had gotten 100% from Home Depot myself. While Ari was working on my shower, he had sent me pictures of the progress of the shower (every step of the way) directly to my phone, and had suggested (only if I wanted) to add a ceiling shower overhead light (again that I selected & bought myself at Home Depot), since none was there previously. What an excellent suggestion because the shower tiling looks gorgeous lit up with the overhead light Ari had installed! :) Besides these amazing methods so far, he also had told me that there were a few boxes of shower tiling that he did not need, and that I had two options: 1) Return the unused boxes and get a full refund, or 2) Hang onto the boxes, and at a later time (when we were ready and could afford it) use the same exact tiling to redo our bathtub directly next to the shower (since styles frequently expire and are no longer remade by companies) so that the two tiling jobs match one another perfectly! What an excellent suggestion!! Ari & his team are world-class, and I would highly, hands-down, recommend them as the absolute best service that South Florida has to offer....trust me, you will not be disappointed utilizing his services!! Thank you to Ari & your team for giving us the shower of our dreams!! :)))
